Decent boba place with a good variety of milk teas, fruit teas, and smoothies. You are also able to choose if you want green or black tea, which was a nice surprise.

Very good quality boba milk and fruit teas. They also have the rare honey flavor (for both milk tea and fruit tea) which is a huge plus. Got the honey milk tea and a lemon (and I believe kumquat) fruit tea. Also got a Diet Coke. Service was prompt. Interior not that many seats but I guess designed to be a take-out spot. Many boba plushies for sale as well. Recommended!

I went to this place with my friend for boba after work. I was surprised how many flavors and add in options they had! The inside is pretty topical themed and well decorated. They have a large mural resembling a beach. Would be a great place to relax. I had the chai tea latte flavor and my friend had the almond flavor and both were really good. At $6 it's a bit pricey but worth it if you want to treat yourself. I liked the flavors and the texture of the boba a lot. If I lived nearby I would definitely come back. Worth a try if you're in the mood for some boba!

    bad brown sugar boba

This is the blandest boba, my friends and I got a brown sugar, winter melon, and a strawberry milk tea and we hated all 3... The brown sugar that I got was probably the worst I've ever gotten. One of the workers was rude when we asked for assistance too.

The Coconut Milk Tea here w/ Boba is awesome. It's so good I had to get another one to go for the road. Tried the Coffee Milk Tea here - it was meh. I could taste the coffee powder and I can tell - the coffee itself is not that impressive, which is unfortunate. But that Coconut Milk Tea - oh yeah. It's probably the best I've ever had. And what kept this at 5-stars was not only that drink, but the superb customer service here. The girl who manages this place - forgot her name - she's been working there for a while, trains the new staff, she's on her way to college this Fall, but she was really mature and professional and patient. I didn't know what I wanted initially, so I asked her for feedback and opinions. She asked me for my preferences - and I wanted something not so sweet, flavorful, with a kick. She recommended the Coconut Milk Tea or Coffee. She knew her stuff when it came to these drinks, helped me sort through, was very patient, communicated well, she was eager to make sure I was happy and pleased. So that's why I purchased another drink - because of all that. Great job - I hope to be backs soon. Love the area this place is situated in - very trendy vibe.

I had higher hopes for this place as it was located in a really nice place and was decorated really cute. I'm not sure if it's what I ordered, but I had two things and didn't care nor finish either. To drink I got the coconut strawberry slush which was extremely sweet and also tasted very artificial in a not so appetizing way. To eat I got a cookies and cream macaroon ice cream which was okay. It was pretty big but not something I would re order. My friend got the lavender one and she also did not finish it. My friend got an iced tea and she enjoyed it.

My daughter and I were craving boba tea... I found that this place was open the latest. I had the horchata bubble tea and my daughter got the vanilla chai... unfortunately we had high expectations. Our drinks tasted water down. The service was friendly and nice. The ambiance made us feel like we were on a beach

My friend was showing me around Trinity Groves and we stumbled upon this place. It was a cute, little boba shop. I ordered a coconut boba tea and I enjoyed it.

Stopped in here after eating Sum Dang Good Chinese across the street. It's nice that it's within walking distance and pretty easy to find. We walked in and we're instantly greeted. The menu was easy to understand and similar to other boba places I've been to. I ordered a coffee boba and my boyfriend ordered a chia latte type boba drink. While we waited we took a seat and enjoyed the decor and saw that they had a little table of games to chose from. We had plans to go after we got our drinks otherwise we may have busted out a game to play. After about 10 min our drinks were ready and they were definitely tasty! As we were leaving the place started to fill up pretty quickly. Next time we visit Trinity Groves I'm sure we will stop by.

I stopped in before my hair appointment and ordered the Mango Passion Burst. It's amazing and flavorful at first sip and the name is very fitting. You get a burst of mango and passion fruit flavor. This is my new go-to boba tea spot. Service was very welcoming and friendly

I ended up going into this location last week. When I first walked by, It seemed to be closed, or so I thought because there was no one outside or inside or at the counter when I walked by, which is why I didn't go in. Because for this location it's on the busier side with cars going by, people eating outside or just walking. But on my way passing by again about 2-3 hours later, I saw someone with Boba walk past me, and I was happy to step in and get my boba :). Lots of options and clean and spacious, it didn't take long to get. I ended up getting two orders one was the mango slush, and another was a boba tea. The slush was okay had no flavor other than the mango boba at the bottom. The tea was a lot better. I will try another flavor next time I'm in the area

Was visiting some family and of course had to get some boba. It was very clean inside and the service was very friendly and speedy! Only sad thing was they were out of regular boba so I had to settle for popping boba. Overall my peach mango tea was really good so I'd look forward to going again!

First of all, the Bishop Arts District itself is incredibly charming. Block after block of unique shops ranging from bookstores and bakeries to candle shops, candy stores, coffee spots, and little boutiques. It's exactly the kind of neighborhood I loveeeee exploring while traveling and if I lived in Dallas, I'd probably frequent this area often. As for The Wild Detectives, the concept alone immediately appealed to me...bookstore meets cafe meets bar meets restaurant. That combination will pretty much always grab my attention. I love to read, I love to eat. The space has a pretty relaxed, community oriented vibe, and during my Saturday morning/early afternoon visit, there were plenty of people working, reading, chatting, and hanging out both inside and on the patio. My one slight disappointment was that the bookstore side itself was smaller than I expected and didn't have quite as extensive a selection as I had imagined. That said, I still managed to leave with a few great additions for my ever growing TBR pile. Overall, this was a worthwhile stop and one I may revisit the next time I'm in Dallas.
