I order two different drinks, I got a Thai Tea Milk and a passionate fresh tea. It was good and the tea wasn't too strong, it was light. I actually enjoy the drink because usually the tea flavor is strong and there is like a lingering taste in my mouth, however this one didn't have one. It was good. The thai tea was ok, it wasn't the best thai tea I have had. The service was good. the cashier mentioned that the fresh tea was going to take a bit because it was made freshly. Boba itself was more like 2-3 stars. I got the Panda milk tea with boba. The panda milk tea had a unique flavor from basic black milk tea. I really enjoyed the taste of the drink itself but the boba was hard / not fresh. Even while it did taste a bit stale it wasn't the worst I've had and I'd probably try it again. I do think the drink was a little pricey for what you get. Yeah. Boba was 75 cents extra and wasn't even that good compared to most other places charging 50 cents. It's a cute place for small groups to hangout. They have a small indoor seating area as well as couches at the front for Togo orders. The Panda milk tea tasted like coffee and boba and was not my taste but if you like a strong flavor of coffee and soft tapioca then you would like it. I was craving a boba drink for my long commute back to Houston so I stopped by Panda Tea since I saw they have a banana milk tea on the menu. I was hoping this would be made using the Korean banana milk, but unfortunately the flavor comes from a powder. A small banana milk tea with boba cost me $5.88, which actually isn't too bad nowadays. The milk tea iwas fine, tasted similar to the banana-shaped Wonka Runts candy. The boba though.. it was awful. I'm used to boba that's been soaked in brown sugar syrup or some kind of sweet syrup, but these were flavorless. They weren't hot either so it's not like the boba was recently boiled and didn't have time to soak. I begrudgingly finished my drink but it was far from satisfying. read more

Here from out of town in search of boba and this place was near our hotel. The guy behind the counter was nice enough to give us time to look at the menu and even offered up some suggestions (1 star for that). We ultimately chose the Taro Milk Tea-it was good- definitely earns a star- perfect sweetness level with no adjustments but listen... it's the boba for me- and these tapioca balls didn't hit the spot. They weren't sweet at all and weren't soft and chewy like they're supposed to be. The decor was cute, music to set the mood and games available to play if you wanted to hang out.. so 1 star for that. read more

Surprise! We came here looking for poke and found boba tea and ramen! Had to get the Panda Milk Tea which is your standard black tea with milk and boba, of course. It was sweeted just right and came with a very interesting top. I can to ask my friends on facebook to translate the mystery question and answer! The Ramen was pretty good for quick take out and satisfying as we were wanting something savory as an afternoon snack. Noodles and soup come in separate containers for easy heat up at home. This location is near where I work in Dallas and they make fantastic teas! Their menu selections are great with fresh milk and milk substitute options! Their tea flavors are delicious as well as their topping options. I'm a boba junkie lol and many times I won't give a new boba place a try if they only use powder milk.... I'm always delighted to find a tea place like THIS ONE that uses fresh milk and milk substitute options like coconut or almond milk available. The shop seems to be run and operated by the owners, husband and wife and they are extremely kind and helpful in making selections. They gave a great selection of tea, coffee, and other yummy treats. Stopped in here today on my way home and it was certainly tasty! My go to order at boba tea places is always coconut milk tea with extra boba so of course that's what I got. Their milk teas are not dairy free like some other boba places however they DO offer almond and coconut milk as dairy alternatives for anyone who doesn't eat dairy. The coconut tea was not all that flavorful but did have a hint of coconut. The boba was more chewy than I'm used too, but again, not bad. I also tried a panda milk tea with boba and it was equally yummy, just the right amount of sweet and caffeinated. The boba was fresh and chewy. Yum! Poké My friend and I loved their poké so much we came back a second time within days! We both got a small and it was PLENTY of food! I'd recommend starting with a small if it's your first time and if you're also getting a drink. Tuna Poké I had the brown rice with two scoops of tuna, ponzu sauce and lots of yummy toppings. Love that they have pickled daikon and masago - it made for an even more colorful bowl. The rice was a nice warm bed for the toppings. You could tell it was fresh and made to order. The fish was also fresh and tasty! Chicken Poké My friend doesn't eat raw fish so she picked up a chicken poké bowl and LOVED it too! She loved the sesame sauce and the variety in colorful toppings. Based on the name, you would think that it's just a boba tea shop but they also have ramen and other food. So you can consider it a ramen shop. I did not try the noodle but it looks good. I only had the tea here. It does taste different than other tea franchises (Kung Fu Tea and Teapioca Lounge). The tea here really has that bitter taste very similar to Ding Tea. I've been going to this place since it opened and their named tea blend "Panda Tea" has become my favorite tea! This place has changed a bit as it has grown. The pearls at first were very sweet and firm and have now gone to a mushy texture with less sweetness. In addition the drinks themselves are also very sweet, definitely do half sweet for those of you used to the bobba scene up in Richardson/Plano. I personally like full sweet however. Disappointed. Went in at night before closing and they ran out of Boba. They have an option on the menu for Regular, Half, OR Little ICE. I purchased a Large Milk Tea with Lychee Jelly as is. What I got was a large cup of ice (filled 3/4s with ice) with about 12 ounces of Milk Tea. The drink was already $4.50. When I paid with card, the options for tip were the $1, 2, 3. I gave them $1. SOOO Happy I paid $5.50 for a large cup of ice, without the boba that I wanted, that had milk tea that didn't taste that great. Oh, and I didn't really get to try that many pieces of the lychee jelly because they were buried under the ice. My Suggestion is to say NO ICE or LITTLE ICE so as to avoid wasting your money. I feel totally ripped off. Even if I didn't mention less ice, that isn't excuse for them to take advantage of me and give me so much. I mean, why is it their standard practice to put SO much ice in one drink and only put a reasonable amount one someone has the foresight to ask for less? The inside is long and skinny. Not the greatest place to work due to low tables that come to the knees when seated. Also not a fan of the solid white booth they have along the wall, not a place I want to hang out. If you're picky with boba/pearl tea, unfortunately the only spots up to snuff are still in Richardson, Plano and Carrollton. I tried the Panda Milk Tea with boba and 30% sugar. (Tip: when trying a new spot, ALWAYS order with 50% sugar or less. Easier to add sweetness than to subtract!) The milk tea was fine, but the pearls were extremely sweet and on the mushy side - I think because they've been soaking in simple syrup for a while. My drink had a generous quantity of pearls though which is nice, even if they were sub-par. Pros: Good, friendly service. Cafe is cute and clean, nice place to hang out.
