So. I made a second trip to CDD. I wanted to give it another shot. What can I say? Well, I will start by service. Two people working and they were both great and attentive. I had the chili dog this time, and I cannot believe it...but I ate it all, even the beans. The cheese and chili were delicious. Very well done. The fries. I was apprehensive since I do not own an air fryer. Well, now I may need to buy one now. Cause, it was amazing. Crispy and perfectly seasoned, and not greasy. The cookie! The Cookie! Oh. My. Goodness. I'm happy I gave it another shot. I don't think it was ever bad, I guess I just wanted fries. Great job! And, another added bonus, a great liquor store next door. Where do I start. First time here. Ordered online through Doordash. Ordered grilled chicken with rice and seasoned veggies for my GF. Driver showed up and said there was an issue that they had to substitute an item. They actually substituted 2 items and never called to ask what she wanted as a sub. They took it upon themselves to give her what they wanted ( fries and a salad ). The chicken was overdone and cut up in cubes, not an actual piece of chicken. ​also it appears that craft dog deli became craft dog pizza and is now haverhill house of pizza 2 as that was the menu stapled to the bag. What a great place. First off, the food was delicious. I chose no bun (due to gluten issues) and had a hotdog "bowl" with baked beans, pulled pork and creamy cheddar (infused with Fat Tire Ale) piled on top. It was very tasty, savory and filling, but opted to indulge myself with a frappe as well, which was also delicious. The environment was warm and friendly. I loved the color scheme inside too and it felt airy with all the windows. The bathroom was spotless (and that is something I always observe. Nothing worse than a dirty bathroom in a restaurant-or anywhere). The service was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this spot and let you be the judge. Went today. Tried several of the hot dogs & a couple of sides. Everything was delicious. Not usually a fan of baked beans - but theirs were good. Service from workers was great, but the food was honestly mediocre. We got the PB&J dog, Boston Common dog, Christmas dog, and chili cheese fries all for $60. Basic buns and there was nothing special about the hot dogs themselves, taste like the ones you get at the store. Christmas dog had a plain hot dog with sliced kielbasa (would've expected just kielbasa) with canned pineapple and processed cheese. Boston common dog was really just finely chopped peppers and onion *slightly* cooked on top of a hot dog with the processed cheese. Chili fries were gross, worst chili I've ever had. Their website claims they use fresh, local ingredients, but working in food industry before it definitely doesn't look or taste like it. Not awful food, but definitely not the best and probably won't get it again. Could probably make all of this for a a fraction of the price at home. read more

I've been looking for a good chili dog for a while now - finally found it! I loved this chili dog - the bun was perfect!! It was enough to hold the chili without falling apart. The chili itself was quite good with great flavor! There are beans in the chili , which I prefer. The menu states the chili dog is served with beer cheese. The owner was very accommodating and served mine with shredded cheddar. I got the special so I choose the Cole slaw. The serving was generous and tasty. The service was friendly and the dining room was very clean. There's a parking lot adjacent to the building. I will be back - for sure!! read more

Unfortunately i had not seen any "fresh local ingredients" Me and the wife ordered the "chicken parm" with fries and chili because i love chili dogs and i wanted to try it first. The chicken parm was a luke warm mushy breaded frozen fake chicken patty(chopped up chicken,then reprocessed with fillers to form a patty) ,the fries were the frozen coated POS's and the chili had to have been 1/2 ketchup , super tangy and inedible. I usually don't like to trash a "new" business but when you are lying to people about the food and charging $17 for a hot dog with fries, then you need a reality check. Would be a great episode for Gordon Ramsay's show. It's like the owners don't actually taste their own food. read more

I don't understand the low scores, I enjoyed the chili cheese hot dog I ordered. I drove there from methuen to see what the hotdogs are like and it was good. The portion and toppings are great. The price is reasonable. Plenty of places to park. The restaurant is clean, quiet, and well lit. Open concept kitchen, fast service and friendly staffs. I will definitely return again. read more

Placed an order for delivery, on line and there were no delivery selection for the order, to put an address, etc. I had to manually call in and tell them I was placing an order and give them my address. The order took almost an hour to get to me, hot dog, cole slaw. When it was delivered, I had a $5 tip for the drive but noticed my drink was missing. I told the driver, "I have the tip for you and will give it to you when you come back", After a 1/2 hr of waiting, I called the restaurant, and I hope it wasn't the owner that answered becasue he couldn't care less about the missing drink and hung up on me. Not to mention, this hot dog looked like it came from Market Basket and worth not worth $2.00 never mind the $10 I had to pay for this miserable experience. read more
