Everything was well organized and the turnout was pretty good. There were two groups, one for juniors and one for (young) adults, for fairness. Another thing I liked was that everyone got 3 extra packs instead of awarding it based on wins, given we're playing with pre-con decks + 4 packs that are all random. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, shout-out to Bryan (the general manager?) and the official judge for the event. Plus I had a great conversation with him and Michael(?) about MTG; they're definitely very passionate about board & card games. They have anti-scalping policies in place for Pokemon. As for the space itself, decent amount of parking (more in the back). They're very popular for Warhammer, so there's a ton of product for those who play, and several tables set-up with many people playing all afternoon next to us (the 'playing hall' is pretty large!). They also have an aisle with board games for sale, and a counter with TCG products. Restrooms are spacious and clean. All in all, The Forge is pretty much all you can ask for in a LGS; they're also independently owned! I wish I live closer, but I'll definitely be here again soon!

Shocked... Hubby and…read moreI hadn't been to the movies in a hot minute, so we took advantage of a free night together. Unfortunately... eeek. First, I do want to give credit where it's due. The welcoming team was friendly from the moment we walked in, and the bartender was wonderful. Even though they were out of every wine I asked for (seven different selections!), she really tried her best to find something I'd enjoy. The only wines available were bottles at a much higher price point, which was disappointing. I'm still wondering what happened to their wine selection. Hubby did enjoy a nice cold beer served in a frosty glass, and that was perfect. Dinner was actually pretty good. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the lobster mac and cheese was tasty, although there wasn't much lobster to be found. Now for the theater itself... The seats are definitely showing their age and are getting a little rickety. Service was almost nonexistent. The one bright spot was a food runner who kindly pointed us to the QR code for the menu and even offered to bring us a printed menu. He was great. We ordered our movie snacks, but that's where things really went downhill. The popcorn was as stale as stale can be, the M&M's tasted old and a little funky, and somehow my club soda came with about four ice cubes and wasn't even very refreshing. The movie itself was good, and we still enjoyed having a much-needed date night together. Overall, though, it's sad to see this theater slipping because it used to be the place to go. I really hope they can turn things around. In the meantime, we'll be on the hunt for a new favorite theater. I'd love to hear everyone's recommendations!

We were not happy. The ticket agent at the front notified the manager who came to talk to us, get some clarification on what had happened and see what he could do to remedy the situation. He (regretfully we did not get his name) went above and beyond to make us happy. He had seats and a table moved into an available space, provided ticket passes and numerous other compensation for the missed step in ticket rescheduling. We had a wonderful experience watching the movie in comfort with good food and spot on service. We will definitely be returning. Any establishment that provides such high quality service deserves much support!

I recently visited Craftland and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The quality of the plushies was abysmal - they felt cheap and poorly made, with visible stitching errors and flimsy materials. It was clear that little care went into their production. To make matters worse, the staff had terrible attitudes. They were rude, unhelpful, and seemed annoyed by basic questions or requests. This lack of customer service made the visit even more unpleasant. I expected a fun and enjoyable time, but instead left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I won't be returning and do not recommend Craftland to anyone. read more

I had a blast at Craft Land, all thanks to Aidee and Rosalva! They were so welcoming and made our visit unforgettable. We spent a good amount of time at the plushee claw machine, and their tips and encouragement made it a delightful experience. The selection of plush toys was impressive, and the machine worked perfectly. Aidee and Rosalva truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. We tried the plushee claw machine, and their enthusiasm and encouragement made it so much fun. The variety of plush toys was fantastic, and the machine was well-maintained. It recently opened, and the prizes seem to haven't changed much since then (Based on online pictures) The staff member who helped us was really friendly, which I appreciated. However, the claw itself is pretty tough--it tends to grab and drop items easily, and there's not much control over its movement. Still, it is possible to win things if you're lucky. Its 1 coin and $1 per play. About half the plushies are Pokémon-themed, and the rest are a mix of Sanrio items and other random prizes. They also have some machines with mystery boxes you can grab. Overall, the format is similar to all the other claw machines. I've only visited once, and I'd rate it 3 stars mainly because of the great customer service. Aside from that, nothing really stood out--but I might come back again and update my thoughts.

I ended up buying a couple of framed Super Metroid pages pulled from Nintendo Power and a ToyBiz X-Men figure I had been looking for. I highly recommend this place, whether you're looking for retro game stuff, figures, comics, etc. I'll definitely be heading back in the future.

That was a great sign so we came here. Safe to say that we understand why they have consistent 5 star reviews. First of all, the owners are genuinely so kind. They ensured that my kiddo didn't leave empty handed and wanted to make sure he won something. It was very sweet. They even asked which one was his favorite. The prizes are actually good too. They're not just all random and cheap prizes. We won multiple cute prizes including Pokémon and Sanrio stuff. Prices are very reasonable. The place is very clean including the bathroom. It's on the smaller side but still a fair amount of machines with a good variety of prize options. Note that they're located in a shared building. They're on the second floor but it's easy to find. Parking is a shared lot too and a lot of spaces even on a weekend. We had a great experience here.
