On our recent trip back to bellaire Chinatown. The kids wanted to check out craft land since it remodeled. They have added a few more machines which made it feel really cramp. The kids and I were bumping into other guest. Trying to navigate the really tight quarter. Their machines takes two tokens to play compare to Clawmania kingdom which is located next door only uses one token per play. We had spend $100 dollars and walked away with only 3 plushies. We asked one of the worker politely if they could fluff up the machines for us to help my son who was struggle to win anything he spend over $20 on that single machine. The young gentleman reluctantly to help was very rude and unprofessional that was the only time we asked and it was not busy either. We will definitely be not coming back. The plushies that we did won ,seems very low quality, stitches came apart where they stuffed the plushies. The staff really needs to be trained on customer service. read more

It was my first time here. My kids and husband came here a week ago without me and the kids told me I needed to check them out. All 4 of my kiddos won and my youngest is 5 years old. The kids were all excited they all walked out winners. My husband paid $100 and received 270 tokens as well as a ticket for 2 points towards upgrades. Each machine takes 2 tokens per play. The employees were very friendly. This place has less machines to play on but most definitely had a lot of room to walk around and play vs Claw Mania. I like both places but my kiddos like Craft land better since they all actually won multiple items and were able to trade in for bigger items. If I could give this place 10 stars, I definitely would! I took my nieces here thinking the prices would be expensive, but it was so fair! They give you a basket full of tokens for just $10 bucks depending on how much you pay. The tokens let you play lots of games on the machines. Super fair, super fun. Not the scamming claw machines that drop your prize after grabbing it. Super fun. Atmosphere was amazing. Super cool! Totally recommend! read more

DO NOT GO TO CRAFTLAND!! I had a horrible experience here, right when I walk in the employees looked at me with serious side eyes. I don't expect a welcome every time but the at least smile or something? The customer service sucked as I asked them how it worked at craftland and they spoke to me like I was stupid, I kindly asked them if I can trade up and they seemed like they didn't want to help me. Not to mention their plushy quality is very poor, some of them look like the bootlegged version and are cheap quality. Their claw machines are very rigged, I spent $100 and walked out with 3. Overall experience 2/10 HOWEVER, I highly recommend going to Claw Mania Kingdom which is just 2 doors down. I walked in and I was greeted by the nice staff and they explained the system to me and told me to come back if I had any more questions. The claw machines are WAYY more giving as I spent $150 and won a huge charizard and STILL had plushies that I traded in for kingdom coins so that I could save up for the next time I visit. Everyone that I saw had bag fulls of plushies, and people were cheering me on as I won one. Their plushy quality is definitely better and not cheap. I enjoyed the overall vibe of how cheerful the staff was, everyone having a good time, and good music to listen to as I played. Will definitely be bringing my family next time! 100/10 would recommend to anyone! read more

I prefer this place over Claw Mania since the prizes are much cuter here! It gets really crowded so I would recommend going when it's less busy and/or wearing a face mask. It also tends to get a bit hot/muggy when it's super crowded which can be kind of unpleasant. Claw machines are really growing in popularity now and it's fun for people of all ages! Sometimes I catch my husband really getting into these games and it can get really addicting at times! I also like that I can trade in prizes which Claw Mania does not offer. Also, the staff are friendly and are willing to help fluff up the stuffies for you (you just have to ask!). One time I was repeatedly trying to win a specific prize and asked the staff if he could help maneuver the other prizes around it. He made it even easier for me and I won the prize shortly after! Overall, I would recommend stopping by to test your luck after having a meal in Chinatown! read more

I was really excited to add a Sonny Angel to my collection, but I was seriously let down by the one I received. The product is clearly a counterfeit--poor craftsmanship and the quality just doesn't compare to the authentic ones. Smudges around the eyes and chipped areas, which I wouldn't expect from a genuine Sonny Angel. Plus having to trade 6 plushies for one seems really unfair. read more

I don't play claw games that often because I've always felt that I could never win at the arcades. A family member recommended this place for us to check out. I really liked that they have a token package in between $20 and $50 because I just couldn't commit with spending that much and not knowing if I'd even win anything. Each machine takes 2 tokens (2 tokens ~ $1), which is a good price per play compared to other places. I came with low expectations based on previous experiences at other arcades, but Craft Land has boosted my confidence because they've made the games actually fair and winnable. I came out with so many plushies and wanted to keep all of them instead of trading. They have really good quality plushies that are sooo cute! One of our favorite places to go to when we are in Chinatown! We really love the different selection of plushies and the helpful staff. I really like checking out their IG stories to see what plushies they have that week. Never again! The plushies were cheap and they have the worst customer service. I had one that was torn so I asked to trade for a new one. The employee had the biggest attitude while doing it. Seems like this place copies Clawmania's concepts which is very unoriginal in my opinion. It is harder to win plushies as well since the machines open sometimes when it grabs onto the plushie.
