Went to Chicken N Pickle for lunch! This place is huge with some pickleball courts, shuffleboards, and other games! Lots of seatings outdoor, indoor, and upstairs! Ordered fried pickles, chicken wings, and fries. All of them were good! Great place to hangout at!

Sooo if you think you're just going to eat and play games of Pickle Ball well think again! Winter wonderland in full effect with a Holiday Hideaway Pop-up Bar up on the rooftop, an ice rink and two igloos for socializing.. and there's fire pits along with indoor pickle ball! I still haven't played pickle ball but next time! This is a very spacious facility.. you couldn't feel too crowded or find a spot if your own! Inside the coop is plenty of seating and corners or benches to handle large groups or company gatherings! My drinks : Espresso Martini & Rum Forrest Rum were scrumptious.. potent and flavored as described! I ordered the NKC Hot Chicken with fries. The sandwich had flavor but not at all spicy. All the waitstaff and GM are friendly, joyful and helpful. We chatted about things to come at CNP. Andrew has good business sense and very customer oriented! The fact that he noticed me admiring the place and promptly greeted me is very personable! He was in fact hanging out at the order pickup helping with orders. My friend and I grabbed a couple of seats at the bar and in more than one instance we were acknowledged to see if we were helped. Ultimately it was Nick who grabbed my friend's drink order and thoughtfully brought us both water! I surely was about to ask. Like it mentions.. Good food. Good friends. Great fun! There's plenty of Good vibes!

Came bye fir brunch, got the junk yard Burrito 5/5 great portion sizes and full of flavor, French toast had good flavor but a little soggy 3.5/5 And the egg white wrap which was good but needed some salsa, server never brought it together but we stopped another one to get us together. If you have never been you should stop by.

The Holiday Hideaway at Chicken N Pickle was fun primarily because I was with a good group of people. I think the atmosphere and decor are overhyped. A lot of the seating for groups is on tired mismatched old couches and miscellaneous chairs, some of which aren't comfortable at all. It's not really conducive to conversation because the tables between the row of seats put you fairly far from your companions, and make it difficult to get into comfortable groupings. The specialty holiday drinks are $14-$15 each, with enticing descriptions if you can read the tiny type! The food menu has interesting items...I enjoyed the Wagyu burger. The too-small wait staff really hustled to keep up with everyone, and did well despite the crowded conditions they had to navigate. But considering the $10 per person 'cover charge" to reserve seating, and how far I had to park away from the building,,I would definitely pass on this pop-up next time.

I have been coming to this location since it has opened. I really love how much outdoor space there is and all of the yard game options. This can be a great place to bring groups just to have fun playing games and sharing a few appetizers. Playing Pickleball here is expensive though but, knowing how full the free courts can get, it's a good option to guarantee play time at a certain times. We have done a few of the beginner classes and those were fun as well. I have enjoyed almost all of the food items here. (The Seasonal Harvest was not my favorite). I really like the chorizo cheese dip (you will most likely need to ask for more chips though as they now only give a small plate of chips with the dip). This is a fun location to watch Chiefs games - plenty of TVs and we have never had a problem finding a spot to sit. Ordering can be a little confusing the first time you go. You order food at the counter and you can order alcoholic drinks at the bar or through a server that will occasionally stop at your table. The servers do not order food though. We will continue to return!

I will say, for date night this can get extremely expensive. But since I am always looking for ways to have a cheap but exciting date night, I hav found a way to enjoy this place but save some money! Instead of playing pickleball with only two people, we like to play bocce ball because it's $10 for a whole hour for two people! Super cheap! Plus, you can stay around the place and play pong, watch tv, or play huge jenga! I cannot speak on the pickleball because we usually don't play due to the prices. The staff has always been super generous and get the bocce stuff to us quickly! The food is pretty typical food but also on the pricey side so we like to get an appetizer to share.

    Pulled pork sandwich lunch special

I've come for several happy hour events and the atmosphere is fun with plenty of room to spread out. The noise and music is consistently too loud though...to the point where I always feel a little relieved when I exit. The cocktail menu is intriguing and the bar staff is attentive and quick to serve and also to help you checkout. Today I had a lunch special for $12.99 that included a pulled pork sandwich with my choice of side -hello sweet potato fries -and a drink. The portion was good and it was served hot. there was a decent quantity of pork and it was juicy without having too much fat. Not too saucy and the coleslaw was cold and crisp and also not overdressed.

I've never been to a rink where they didn't have one or more staff members skating on the rink to ensure safety and enforce rules. They didn't have any staff members anywhere near the rink. And they needed them! I hope they have good insurance! (though they had us sign a waiver before entering, which is the only time I've experienced that at a rink.) It wasn't crowded on the Sunday afternoon that we went, but it was really hard to skate. One kid going the wrong way around the rink, kids and *adults* cutting across the rink instead of going in an oval. One young teen stealing the skate assist device from his younger siblings and then zig-zagging across the rink while they tried to chase him to get it back. One guy doing his dance moves across the path of traffic - dude, go in the middle or a corner! One man standing in the path of traffic doing things on his phone. And then the usual of kids cutting across. The rink also doesn't have a wall around it, which means at any moment someone might decide to cut across as they enter or exit the rink. I'm a good skater, but multiple times I had to skate off of the rink to avoid crashing into someone behaving badly. It made it so not fun. And when people fell down, there was no staff to check they were ok or help them up like at other rinks. I would have given it one star, because I really just didn't want to stay (and I often stay for multiple hours at rinks), but there were some good things. The floor was good, and the price wasn't bad. There were plenty of places to sit. Music was decent though loud. There was a separate little rink for beginner skaters. We were there for the second half of an afternoon session and there were no games or couples skate or anything, and I didn't see any way to request your favorite song. I had to try 3 times to get a decent rental skate (first time they gave me the wrong size, second time one skate had a wheel loose), and the laces were messed up still. There are rinks that are more fun.

I like that the dj booth is easily accessible and you don't have to go through the food court area to get to it if you wanted to request a song. We brought our own helper that we had purchased from Amazon. Nobody said anything when we brought it in and then about 3/4 of the way through our time one of the workers said the manager needed to talk to us about it. He explained that they don't have ins to cover that but would let us use one of theirs while they held onto it. He also said he'll do that for us if we come again. He wasn't sure if the other managers would, but he would if he was there. They've got arcade games, prizes to pick from, lots of storage spots, some to pay for, and lots of spots to sit. One of the two stalls in the women's bathroom was out and the cover was off the toilet paper roll container which led to the roll falling off onto the floor. Not ideal. Still worth a visit if this one is closest out of the three.

Because I am not a local, I had to look multiple times to ensure that I chose the correct entry door. I'm sure the locals just know which door to go through. Once inside, the there is a 300-400 sq. Ft. Area that is divided almost in half by a painted metal barrier. This barrier separates the people who are entering from the ones who are leaving. So that once you leave the skating area, you cannot come back. This is exactly what a rollerskating business needs. There must be a way to keep people who have left the building or at least left the skating rink from entering again without having to go through some sort of secure measures. I skated on the Friday afternoon session (1p-4p) during the summer. When I arrived, there were about six other people in the building. So I was quite excited to have basically the entire roller rink to myself. The cashier was quite friendly and very informative. I'm sure she knew I was not local because of the numerous questions that I asked about the building and skating floor. I have recently started rollerskating again. And I like to compare the characteristics of the different rinks that I visit during my travels. The Building is 10,000 sq ft. There is space for the concessions, the skate shop and skate consultations. If I subtract that area from the total, then the skate floor is probably about 9000 to 9500 sq ft. This is a total estimation. The carpet is clean with various shapes in vibrant colors. The wooden floor is painted (I think. It's either painted or it has a sturdy covering over it) white with a completely discernible center area. The center area had large 55-gallon plastic barrels spaced nicely apart. So one could really practice curving around them. There is a concrete wall, which flanks the skating floor, and only allows access to the floor at certain (two) points. This can decrease collisions and accidents by forcing people to be really careful as they enter and leave the floor. I thoroughly enjoyed my skating session.
