A super cute little place that looks like it stepped right out of the movie Roadhouse! Great food my husband and I split the tenderloin sandwich and it was huge! We also had the cheese curds and FYI they are a bit spicy! The kids mac & cheese is huge and the chicken tenders along with the pork tenderloin or hand breaded Fries were good. Hamburger was good. Chicken wrap was fine & huge. Mushrooms were very good. Service was great! I think this is worth the trip out of town to check it out! read more

We popped into Jaudon's on a Sunday afternoon. Staff was Super friendly and the specials on Sunday were awesome. I ordered the spicy Hawaiian pizza and the cheese curds. I loved the curds, the seasoning in the breading was fantastic. The pizza crust had the perfect amount of garlic to give it a great flavor and the whole thing was huge and delicious. Staff gets high marks - our server did a fantastic job on a busy Friday evening. Salads were really fresh and they tasted as good as they looked (FYI, the large is really large!). The pizza was good, but not awesome (crust was a little too thin and bland for our taste). Our nachos were cold and the chips were on the stale side, so that wasn't a big win either. Overall, the food we tried was a 3, but the service and vibe were a 4. The place was definitely hopping and the wait staff was slammed; however, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, which is a high plus in a neighborhood spot! We'd like to go back and be impressed with their food (we will probably try something different). It would also probably help to show up any other time than a Friday night for dinner to give them the best chance to shine. read more

I drove by this place a few years ago and stumbled upon it last night. Stopped in for a NY drink but stayed for a few appetizers and drinks. Maybe the best fried cheese curds Ive ever had. I told my gf she needs to try one right away cuz they were sooo creamy but it didn't matter as they stayed that way. Chicken nuggets and fries were great as well. Real chicken, not a processed piece of Suspect meat. Most important, the staff was outstanding. Bartender was super nice and super efficient. Two young servers were the same. Came across this gem while out on a drive. It seems like it's in the middle of nowhere but was steadily busy. The staff was very kind, the food was great, and a fun atmosphere. We had chicken littles and spicy cheese curds. Enjoyed both but the cheese curds were the best, crispy on the outside but the cheese was extremely creamy. We'll definitely go back. read more

I don't usually review a restaurant after one visit. Any location can have a bad day, or an exceptionally good day, and these can be one-off experiences. However, my visit to the Jaudon Public House was so problematic that I feel compelled to say something. My first impression of the Jaudon Public House was very positive. It's a cute building on the corner of Holmes and 203rd St, reminiscent of a Texas Ice House. It was snowing today so I couldn't use the outdoor patio, but it looked like a fun place to spend a meal. And that's approximately where my good experience ended. Right off the bat, we learned that although Coke Zero is included on their menu, they have never offered it and have no intention of offering it. So why is it listed on the menu? Our server had no idea. We then placed our order, including an appetizer, and we didn't see our server again for 40 minutes, and our appetizer arrived at the exact same time as our entrees. The Shotgun shell appetizer is three spring rolls stuffed with either ham and Swiss cheese, or pepperoni and gouda. We ordered pepperoni and gouda - guess what they served us? Correct - ham and Swiss When I was ordering, I asked if the $16.99 pork tenderloin was "hand breaded" or frozen, and the answer was "frozen - but it's big enough for two meals and it's one of our most popular offerings." I had my heart set on ordering the pork tenderloin so even though it wasn't hand breaded I decided to try it anyway. For $16.99 it had to be good, right? Well, it was fairly big as our server had indicated, but not huge by pork tenderloin standards. And it was rather dry and nearly tasteless. The pork tenderloin at Culver's isn't quite as big but it tastes better and at $6.19 it's a MUCH better value. At the top of the burger section of the menu it reads "Choice of Brioche or Pretzel bun." My wife chose the pretzel bun for her Fiesta burger. Then as you might guess, not only did they not serve her burger on a Pretzel bun, buy they charged us $1.99 for the bun she didn't receive, the bun that we assumed came with the burger (at no extra cost) because the menu didn't say differently. We didn't realize all this until we had already left the restaurant or we would have said something. Did I mention that my wife's Fiesta Burger was supposed to come with Queso on the burger, but they were out of queso, so they served it with pepperjack instead. And our server asked how she wanted it cooked - my wife said "medium." The burger she received was "well done." I wonder - why do you ask how we'd like the burger cooked, if you're just going to burn it? According to the menu, the onion rings my wife ordered were supposed to be "Whiskey Battered." They weren't. They were the same type of breaded onion rings you could purchase in the frozen section of your local grocery store. And one more little complaint - the "regular" fries weren't regular, they were coated fries. In my opinion, "coated fries" are not "regular." Based on the look of the building, I may have gotten my hopes up too high. The offerings at the Jaudon Public House are basically bar food, but beware - the menu is misleading, they don't offer some items which are listed on the menu, they run out of some items, and they may charge you for items you assumed would be included in the price. We were truly hoping that this cute little place could become one of our go-to's in the future, particularly when the weather is nice enough to use the patio. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that's not going to happen. read more

I came here since my friend wanted to check it out. We did some "research" on their social media on Facebook and the menu and pictures of the restaurant looked pretty good. We invited some additional friends and made a trip of it. When we got there, it was pretty packed which is expected on a weekend night. We were seated in a small room next to the restrooms and it took a while to get service. It looked like maybe 3 people were working. We were looking at some orders while we waited and we noticed the pizzas looked nothing like the ones on their social media. It was all thin crust in the restaurant. They also had steak on their social media, but none on the physical menu. We ordered some burgers, drinks, and the chicken vittles as an appetizer. The food turned out good for a bar and grill but the chicken vittles were hilariously disappointing for $10. It looked like they ran to a fast food restaurant and put it out as an appetizer. There were no napkins on the tables and when we asked for ketchup, the waitress outwardly expressed that she didn't know where they were and looked inconvenienced. Came here from a recommendation from a friend who raved about the pork tenderloin sandwich. I'm a fan of delicious pork tenderloin sandwiches so i ordered it, i thought it was going to be big for the 16.99 price tag but when my sandwich arrived I was highly disappointed before taking my first bite. The meat was thin and was the size of the bun, i was thinking 16.99 for this i could have got a better tenderloin sandwich from Culver's for way less. The fries were good but not hot just mildly warm. Staff was friendly but we had the bartender and the cook bringing out our food so that was different, luckily it wasn't overly busy. I never been to the old bar but the owner really cleaned it up and looks very nice inside and outside. I think they are on the newer side of opening and hopefully they read these post especially when they (the restaurant) talk up their pork tenderloin sandwich but the management and or owner(s) need to get out and try pork tenderloin sandwiches from other restaurants in a 30 to 50 mile radius because if I'm comparing this pork tenderloin sandwich to other restaurants i give this a 2 out of 5 because it was thin, small and overpriced. To the people reading this wanting a delicious pork tenderloin sandwich go to Christie's firehouse in kcmo, Jose's/roosters in Harrisonville they are bigger, thicker, tastier and cheaper. My 8year old daughter and my favorite place to go for lunch. Food and staff are amazing.

We arrived with a group of friends on a Saturday afternoon. The new look is great! Very impressive! It was only slightly busy. The waitress kept telling us the wait staff was short handed so, our service was very slow. One of the people in our party offered to help her as she is also in the same business. Waitress got "snippity" about it and was offended. Hey, we just wanted our food. Nothing at all personal. But, when we finally got our food, it was good and hot. The place is nice and inviting. Just hope it doesn't turn out to be another "drunk" bar like it used to be. Friends that went also complained about the slow ass service. read more

The place looks great inside and out. I wanted to love it. Unfortunately, the experience on this particular Sunday (3/23/25) made it impossible. 3 of us arrived at 12:45 and given menus that was breakfast only - we were informed regular menu didn't start until 2pm. That was unexpected, but ok.... We each had a bloody mary, which was good. I ordered a build your own omelette and a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy, my daughter (her birthday) ordered eggs benedict and my wife ordered biscuits and gravy. There were maybe a total of 15 people in the entire restaurant combined bar and tables. We waited at least 45-50 minutes for food and the server never checked in with us. Then my food order arrived. Server said nothing about the other two orders that were not delivered. No comment "it's on the way", "will be here shortly" - Nothing. Never saw her again. My daughter and wife insisted I start eating. I hesitated, but started to eat thinking the rest of the food would arrive in short order. Wrong..... First of all, it was the smallest omelette I've ever seen but tasted good. What made it seem even smaller than it was is that it was served on a ginormous round white platter of a serving dish - if the dish was half it's size the omelette would've still looked small. I take my fork and cut or tried to cut into a biscuit. I couldn't believe it - rock hard! I took a bite anyway - gravy was not even warm. 20 more minutes pass by, still no sign of our server. I had to walk back to where the kitchen area was, saw my server & inquired as to what happened to the other two orders that she took all at the same time at our table. All she could say was, "I don't know what happened" and it was evident there was no sense of urgency to try to figure out the situation. At that point enough was enough. I told her we were leaving - cancel the order. They charged me for the bloody mary's and I gladly paid for them as that was fair. On the way out I clude the bartender in about the biscuits and suggested she try to cut one with a fork and wished her luck as they were rock hard. On the way out, I turned around to look as she was doing just that and shaking her head back-and-forth. I said see what I mean. The look on her face said it all as she totally knew that should have never been served. Everyone has a bad day here and there and I wanna try them again to be fair. The food was great! The portions were beyond adequate, although the particulars of people in our party of 8 were a little discombobulated- no tomato, side sauce, etc, though all was fixed. The prices were very fair. The service was slow , but friendly, especially the wait for our bill, especially for an early evening busy, not packed, Saturday. Could be growing pains of a new business. Waited 35 min for appetizers and decided to cancel food order. Manager was going table to table because food was taking so long. First bad review I've ever written.
