    Thai Peanut Glass Noodles

Had a great lunch experience at Craft Roots over the weekend. We grabbed a table outside since the weather was perfect and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was also good. Coming to the food: Thai peanut glass noodles were delicious and packed with veggies. Buffalo cauliflower was disappointing and had a very odd taste.

Everything was amazing! Staff were kind, helpful, and attentive. The ambiance was fantastic. And the food was really delicious! We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was the perfect experience. Would definitely come again!

My original choice for dinner fell through one afternoon after a day at the beach. Yelp to the rescue! After looking up nearby places I chose craft roots. 5 stars I was intrigued, first the old town feel in a very nice area I was seated right away the menu was very extensive and had many choices and all vegan! I ordered a "chicken" sandwich and a beer the sandwich was more like a burger it came with fries & small side salad it was very good and filling. The vibe was absolutely amazing the staff members seemed to be having as much fun as the diners. They had a good mix of people families, large parties and couples they have outside dining as well as inside. You can't go wrong here but since the menu is so big you may have to eat here a few times to find your favorite dish!

This second visit was night and day compared to our first visit. Everything and everyone was on point. Cassidy (sp?) was a pleasure to meet and took great care of us. Our appetizers and entrees arrived in a timely manner and everything tasted great. We will definitely stop by the next time we're in MH!

Returned for lunch after visiting once last year, glad we did! * Parking: Dedicated multi-story lot right around the block, super convenient. * Location: Cozy footprint with indoor & outdoor (sidewalk tables & dedicated alley) seating options! * Staff: Kind, attentive, super-fast. Thank you, Nicki! * Eats: We tried the C.R Burger & Bourbon Bakon Burger - both delicious to the very last bite! * Drinks: Great range of beers on tap, bottles, cocktails, & wine. We had tasty Lager & Pilsner. Tip: Not a vegan or vegetarian? You don't have to be to enjoy Craft Roots' delicious eats - it's super tasty food across the board! We'll definitely be back to try more dishes & drinks.

The food is always bomb for a vegetarian place. We are not vegetarians but just love the food and pizza here. They also have CBD drinks on tap. Service is always friendly and fast.

We just hit town and were looking for a nice place for a late lunch and Craft Roots filled the bill. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of beers on tap. I opted for the Pliny the Elder Did I mention this restaurant is Vegan? It is and fantastic. I had the Fiji apple and fig salad and my sweetie had the Caesar salad which had some amazing grilled mushrooms! They have so many options and have a brick pizza oven and lots of interesting choices to try there. Can't wait to go back next time we're in town. Highly recommended

The food is so tasty, I came 2 days in a row. Icy was my server. Super nice and explained the menu. And she remembered my name! My favorite was the Japanese Cauliflower. And really, everything was good. 1st day, I had the Japanese cauliflower and teriyaki bowl. 2nd day, I had the chili fries (this sauce is vegan? Yes) and Korean bowl. The owner said hi. He's hard working. Never sat still. He's definitely a working owner. Maybe this is why this restaurant is so good. He talked about the Maitake burger. Will have to try it next time. The dishes were so inviting, I dug in before taking a picture. Apologies. The dish will not look as good. Btw, nice size dishes!

This place was so fabulous, so happy our friends found it for lunch. The parking structure was nearby so it was pretty easy. The restaurant was busy, but we didn't have to wait for too long. There seating in the inside and the outside as options. Our waiter and the staff were friendly and really great. The food was absolutely delicious! The pizzas had a nice touch and were flavorful. The appetizers and portions were great. We really enjoyed our fried chicken sandwich. It was super crispy and the flavor with the condiments were great. Absolutely recommend!

Driving through town, craving a great beer. Our local was closed. Now what? Let's see what YELP has revealed. There in the review, Russian River Brewing Company, ON TAP! Check the menu, let's go. What a great welcoming locals hang out. The entryway is steep, wouldn't recommend crutches or a wheelchair, use the side entrance. Once inside, a few tables, a bar for about 8, television on in the corner and a wood burning oven all aglow awaiting the next paddle of dough. The mood was laid back and comfortable. This was our first time in a total vegan restaurant. We had already settled on a great beer, now what do we eat. The menu has something for everyone. We settled on the cheeZe pizza. A handmade, wood fired pizza. A little skeptical, how will vegan cheeZe taste? DELICIOUS!!! The perfect amount of tomato sauce, a robust pesto and some of the cheesiest cheese ever! Nothing to take home but a warm feeling and a full belly. We enjoyed so much, we came back again. We had half cheese and half "meat." We will look for something like this close to home. Until then, a great place to share and remember.

Great service, great food, cool vibe! I was so skeptical beforehand but I loved Craft Roots so much! The kombucha was amazing, the margarita pizza was pretty good and the buffalo cauliflower appetizer is a MUST have!!! I appreciated that they had gluten free options as well.

    Are there gluten free options?

Yes, the whole menu is or can be substituted to gluten free. Our frier is dedicated gluten free. So anything fried is gluten free. We have GF buns, pizza crust, and flatbreads. Just make sure to tell your server.

    Is this all vegan food?

    Yes, 100%.

For someone with some hearing issues would it be better to be inside or outside on a Saturday for lunch?

I think outside is better. The inside is small. It may be noisy.

COCONUT CRUSTED SHRIMP $20.00 COCONUT CRUSTED SHRIMP, SWEET PEPPERS, SCALLIONS. THAI CURRY BROTH, MANGO, MICRO GREENS, PEANUTS. The coconut shrimp were delicious. The coconut crust was crisp and golden brown, cooked to perfection. The broth with the mango and micro greens and peanuts paired very well with the shrimp. I just wish I had a spoon to scoop more of it up. Definitely coming back for this one too. The ambience is pretty nice, they have nice animal pictures throughout the restaurant. They have indoor and outdoor seating, a full walk up or sit down bar, and TV's. 3 stars. #3. The service was fantastic, glasses constantly being refilled, asked us if we wanted more bread and butter and our server made some great recommendations "5 Stars" The Food: #1. They gave us 2 nice warm bread rolls with a room temperature salted butter cube. The bread at first tasted salty but then my palate caught up and oh snap! this bread was good!! 5 Stars! #2. The server recommended the beef Wellington. "I ordered it med rare, it came to me med rare" it comes with mashed potatoes and longstem broccoli with cherry tomatoes, and a wine/vinegar reduction for the Wellington. The broccoli had a nice crispness to it and were seasoned perfectly, the cherry tomatoes added some brightness. The mashed potatoes were silky smooth and paired perfectly with the Wellington. NOW THE BEEF WELLINGTON: OH MY .....GOSH!!! My eyes rolled back into my head, it was so good!! The beef was as soft as butter, I could have used a butter knife to cut it (not kidding) and it melted in my mouth. The seasoning with the dough and the spinach with the mushrooms inside nearly caused a wet dream (if you get my point) "and don't even get me started on their reduction sauce for the Wellington!" The waiter walked up to me and smiled and said "and I quote"... gives you goosebumps, right? Oh he knew, HE KNEW!! 5++++ Stars! #3. Wifey ordered the Grilled Salmon salad. She ate the Salmon so fast that I barely had a chance to taste it. She said she really liked it, now I did get a chance to taste the salad and I must say that it was so good that it could have been a stand alone dish. Again 5 Stars. #4. And for dessert we had tiramisu. It came plated beautifully with a raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, whipped cream, and a beautiful orchid flower. The flavor while not the best I've had was still pretty darn good 4 Stars. Overall food and dining experience at the restaurant easily hits 5 stars! Total bill for said food - tip $124 pricewise I felt it was well worth it. Oh I will be back!

Positives - have never had a bad meal. The food was good…read more Negatives - The service was very slow and our server seemed like he didn't care very much about being our waiter. He came to our table just after we were seated and before we had a chance to look at anything. Stood there looking annoyed as we scrambled to look at the menu for drinks and appetizers. We very quickly told him we would need a few minutes. The few minutes though turned into 10-15 before he came back to take our order. The appetizer took an extremely long amount of time to get to table. The young man who brought it wasn't our server and did not check to see if we needed anything else. When our waiter eventually came back with our cocktails. He just held them out to the nearest person and made us pass them down the table. Eventually after another long wait, our meals arrived. Server nowhere to be found. By this time our first drinks and waters were empty. Server didn't come by for quite awhile after. Some of our party asked for more drinks and water. We never got more water. Server never came by mid meal to ask how we were doing. If we needed anything else. I would've ordered another drink if I had a shred of confidence that it would've been delivered before I finished my meal. Speaking of the cocktail. YOU DO NOT MUDDLE THE CHERRIES IN AN OLD FASHIONED. It was just a mash of fruit floating around at the bottom of the glass. We finally saw our server again when he came by to ask if we wanted desert. He dropped off the menus and then disappeared for another 10+ minutes. At which point I had to go find him to inform him that we wanted to order dessert since we were celebrating my father's birthday. When the other young man brought our desserts we had to ask for new plates and clean utensils. We again had to ask for more water since it wasn't brought when previously asked for. Our server then eventually showed up for the check. He told us the first card didn't go through. He did not do this quietly or with tact. He came back after the second card didn't go through. We did not get any banking notifications about these and inquired if perhaps their system was the problem. It wasn't until the third card didn't go through that he admitted they were trying to fix the problem on their end. He did not apologize. We've dined at this restaurant multiple times a year for several years. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had here. If you care at all about the service you pay for then I would suggest you avoid this restaurant. Very disappointed. Next time we'll be dining elsewhere.

Our server was…read morekind and doing their best, but the food quality and overall experience were not good at all. We drove almost 3 hours to visit while spending the day in the area, and honestly, we would've rather grabbed fast food instead. What made it worse was that we were hoping to treat our mom to a nice meal, but all of us ended up disliking the food. The appetizer plates we were first given were visibly dirty, so we had to ask for clean replacements right away. A few people in our group ordered the loaded clam chowder since we'd seen so many positive reviews online, but it was extremely underwhelming. The seafood tasted undercooked and the soup itself had barely any flavor. The wait time was also frustrating. We received appetizers fairly quickly, but waited almost an hour and a half for our entrees. During that time, staff kept coming by offering extra bread and refills we didn't ask for, which honestly felt more like an attempt to make up for the long delay. Meanwhile, several larger parties that arrived after us were served their meals before we were, even though our group was only 5 people. What also made the experience uncomfortable was that once our food finally arrived, we felt rushed to leave. After waiting, staff were already trying to clear plates while some of us were still eating, which felt unfair considering the delay was completely out of our control. By the time the food finally arrived, the quality just did not justify the wait. Overall, it was a very disappointing Mother's Day experience, especially after driving so far. Sadly, we won't be returning.

Another sign states that Betsy's has been serving this community since 1981. I was greeted immediately upon entering and advised to "just sit anywhere." I grabbed the first booth I encountered and was brought water and menu right away. The waitress took my order of a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings ($16.50). A few minutes later the onion rings of my dreams (super crispy on the outside and a real onion rings inside with enough crunch left that you can bite through without dragging a soggy onion out of its outer shell, so each mouthful is both onion and crunchy coating) arrived and a sandwich with crispy (not soggy, underdone) bacon, hefty burger patty (done just how I like them with carmelized edges and perfectly done thick center) with cheese, pickles, red onions, lettuce and mayo. I asked them to leave off the tomato due to my food allergies. The bun was soft but held up well to the heft of the sandwich. The decor was classic 60's style diner. While the seats were well padded and the covering looked practically new, some of the tables showed the wear of the years on the corners. There is also a short lunch counter next to the kitchen. What really caught my attention is the staff seemed to know most of the guests and greeted them by name as they came and went and inquired into different aspects of their lives. This personal touch reflects what seems to be a long-time relationship with dedicated customers. Parking is close to the door. This place was a little hard for me to find as it is behind the bowling alley at Tennant Station Shopping center, but was well worth the effort to locate and enjoy. I will be returning in the future!!

Betsy's Restaurant had a screaming menu! Our breakfast was delicious! The portions were so generous…read morewe had to cancel the pancakes.(Next time!) We finally decided on the chili verde, scrambled eggs, country potatoes with flour tortillas AND the eggs in a nest, with hash browns and bacon. Both were yummy yet I must say the chili verde and eggs were the favorite at the table. I have to mention the coffee was good and our mugs were always full. Betsy's crew was so friendly and attentive. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile at the door, seated timely and given time to figure out what to order. By the way, all the tables were full. Which immediately told me, we were about to have a fantastic meal. The restaurant was clean, ran smoothly and the customers all truly looked to be enjoying their meals. Can't wait to try the pancakes!

Most recent dining experience is at Il Vigneto but the review could apply to Iron Bar too…read more Executive chef Basarov has been around about a year and has really hit his stride, updating many of the classics with Mediterranean and Latin American themes. Pastry chef Manon is amazingly talented with a wide variety of crave worthy cakes and decadent ice creams & sorbets. (Dec 2022 update: sadly it looks chef manon is moving on; Cordevalle is advertising for a new pastry chef.) French Baguette: some like is soft but I ask for it seared crusty. The aged prosciutto is real Parma and outstanding. Tuna Tartare: a classic and deservedly so. The sweetness of the soy and the spice of the chiles accentuate the tuna. Butternut squash soup: light and delicate and not too creamy. Good crunch from sunflower seeds. So good I got this again. Short Rib: menu says domestic wagyu which might be overkill for slow cooking. Regardless it's very tender. The polenta is a little too cheesy for me. Gnocchi & Truffles: it hasn't been on the menu recently but I beg you to order it if you see it. No description needed - just eat it. Thanksgiving turkey: cooked sous vide which keeps the breast meat moist and tender. The dark meat was shredded and nicely seasoned. Cranberry: listed as cranberry and cinnamon compote. Tastes like it has orange in it as well. I had to taste it 4 or 5 times to make sure. And take some home... Pumpkin pie: holy pumpkin Batman! I'm not obsessed with pumpkin like some are but this was easily the best I've ever had. Outstanding doesn't do it Justice. Pecan pie: with maple and bourbon! Yes this is sweet as pecan pie should be but not cloyingly sugary. The torched marshmallow on top kicks it up another notch. The bar tender makes an excellent Manhattan. There's a good selection of wine. Like everyone who works at cordevalle, the staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. Reminder you're at a high end restaurant at a high end resort so you pay for what you get.

Love this way to start the meal. Next the "taste of the South Bay" seafood platter- oysters, shrimp, and yellowtail carpaccio. Bread course with garlic confit. "Our burrata" pasta-subtle yet spicy. The star dish of the night was the parpadelle with slow braised lamb shank, fava beans, and pecorino. Wow!! loved all the flavors here but especially the differing textures of slow cooked lamb mixed with crispy pieces and fresh fava beans. The service was as impeccable as the food! If you ever have the chance to eat here- do it!
