    Chilaquiles

On the reviews recommendation I tried the chilaquiles with steak. While the eggs were cooked perfectly and the beans good flavor, that was the only good items on the plate. The chips were soggy and the steak overcooked. Good customer service. Overall I would not recommend

Ordered the Monte cristo sandwich for $18.99. Service was fast and sandwich was nice and hot. French toast was light, eggs were over hard and Swiss cheese nicely melted. Waitress was friendly and provided outstanding service. There were both booths and table with chairs for seating. Atmosphere was calm and casual. They had cute Knick knacks for sale at the register and I got a unicorn Pegasus for $1, my granddaughter will love it!

This is a cozy place. Mexican and American choices are offered. The coffee is good though I'd prefer it was a bit hotter. The service is very good. The Classic platter with Italian Sausage Pattie, eggs, potatoes and toast are all tasty. The Italian Sausage Pattie has a very slight kick.

Anytime we're heading over either Pacheco Pass or Hecker Pass it's a must stop at Dany's for a high quality, large portioned, delicious breakfast. That mug of OJ was fresh and the food hot and comforting!

We finally had a chance to eat here since I have been hearing its really good. Not sure about the really good part. We were seated right away, service was quick, and food was so-so. I food was ok for me, nothing that I am craving again or would go back to eat.

Lumberjack special, requested no potatoes, fruit instead.

Delicious omelette, salsa was very good. Generous portions. Best service around, attentive, gracious. Pleasant diner experience. Pleasant music and loved the cute plates!

I discovered Danys a few months back while at WalMart in Gilroy. I wanted a sit down meal and was delighted with my experience. Danys has an extensive menu with American & Mexican items on the menu. The food is fantastic and the service is good too. I've gone in several times and they remember my order every time. The indoor seating is plentiful although I recommend you go early on Sundays as they're always lined up to get in. The restaurant is cozy and cheerful.

Close to Costco. We had the salmon tacos and the jarito mocktail. The food was good and the service was very cordial and prompt. Only, for my Indian palate the food was bland. We added salt, lemon and spicy salsa. I still thought everything was bland. The cooking was perfect though.

Dude!!!!!!! The chilaquiles with Chile Verde is bomb! I was just passing through one morning and found this place. The staff were friendly, but take a while to greet you and take your order. It wasn't busy and when I went to pay they were all chit chatting by the register(all 5 of them). It's fine because the food was delicious. They have several ways the chilaquiles can be topped and I asked for which one was the best. The server said chile verde and they didn't disappoint. It's the best I've had. The pork was tender and flavored well. I wish the potatoes would've been hotter, but everything on the plate was good.

Also, the jalapeño poppers deserve appreciation because they are finger licking good! I've come twice already for a burger and poppers. It's been the same person at the register and each time she's been lovely, respectful, and helpful. She made it so easy to order and totally accommodated a burger with bbq sauce instead of mayo and mustard. The first time we came on Sunday for dinner and it was busy! Wow, people sure do like this place. There was a family celebrating a birthday here. The second time, I came in on a Friday night and I noticed they had lots of delivery pickups and orders to go. There is ample seating to enjoy a happy meal. I've gotten the meals with fries and drink and also just the burger. We are so fortunate to have a fresh burger place. It's clean and they have a bathroom. You'll see in my pictures, they have cheese sticks, too.

The bacon had great crisp. The crinkle cut fries are really tasty and well seasoned, with just the right amount of crunch, yet soft inside. I wasn't that impressed with the side of fried mushrooms we ordered. They were fine, but I wouldn't order them again. The batter was very thick. I did appreciate the side of ranch it came with! This is the spot when we go to Gilroy Gardens and need a quick dinner afterwards. This time we were heading to Pinnacles after, and also needed dinner. It's very close to the theme park.

When he visited his parents recently they had talked about MoHi and when they visited downtown, he saw the restaurant and automatically knew we needed to try it. We travel everywhere with our dogs and he found out that they had a dog friendly patio. A few months later, we were in town and decided to try it for breakfast. There were not a lot of reviews or pictures of breakfast so he made it a point to order some items recommended by our server, Ty - who was phenomenal by the way. Always checked in on us and even complimented how nice and chill our doggy was. We ordered a vanilla latte, orange juice, the breakfast pizza, and the eggs Benedict. The breakfast pizza came highly recommended by Ty. On paper it sounded delicious, but we were still reluctant, because a breakfast pizza? It was delicious, lol. They have a sauce on there that is very similar to what In-N-Out uses and the farm fresh eggs and cheese brought everything together. I decided to try the eggs benedict because the English muffin is scratch-made. The benedict was savory with confit potatoes and fruit. The only thing that threw me off was the fresh fruit was tossed in a pesto dressing. I can definitely do sweet and savory, and all the other weird, eclectic mixes, but this one was just too different for me. The orange juice was a highlight because they literally squeeze it right in front of you at the bar. They have other mixes that they can do as well like orange carrot or orange strawberry. So make sure you ask what is on the menu for fresh squeezed fruits because this one you don't wanna miss Outside there are at least 20 tables with dog friendly written all over the patio area. They have water bowls, turf, and even a cute little fire hydrant. There was a doggy on the patio already who was well-behaved. Overall, we'd be back to try the rest of the breakfast menu!

Southern Farm MOHI…read moreFarms delivers true farm-to-table dining as they serve up locally sourced seasonal ingredients, including some from their very own Uvas Farm. They are part of the Léal restaurant group, which has several similarly named restaurants in the works (MOHI Pasta and MOHI at the Grove), as well as a vineyard (Léal Vineyards) and a flower bar (Luxe Flower Bar). They also apparently own a theater, mansion, ranch, and an upcoming complex that will include housing, shops, and more restaurants. The Good: * Several free lots and free street parking * Catering available * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * They also have a bakery and café available if you're just looking for a light morning breakfast. * Service was friendly but stretched very thin during both our visits as the servers were working more tables than they should've been. * Overall, their pricing is very fair for the quality of the food. * Local beers on tap, as well as a large wine menu. * Wood-fired pizza oven. I didn't try the pizza, but my son wolfed it down. * Carissa loved her brunch Short Rib Fried Rice bowl, especially all the perfectly cooked butternut squash. * Tempura broccoli was fantastic. I loved that they served this instead of the ubiquitous fries to go with the burgers. The Meh: * I don't know why they can't have a menu on their website? The only way to view what's available is you have to pretend you're making an order. * The Brunch Loco Moco was just okay; the hamburger was a bit overcooked for my liking. Otherwise, the egg, rice, and gravy were delicious. * Their burger-to-bun-to-topping ratio is not good. It's mostly that their buns are much, much too thick for the tiny smashburger patties, and the whole thing ate very dry despite all the cheese. I did enjoy the crispiness of the bacon, though. * The salmon in the Roasted Salmon Bowl was also overcooked, and the amount of salmon for the price point wasn't really worth it, in our opinion. The Ugly: * Vegetarian Farm Spring Rolls were pretty bad, if I'm being honest. The only reason we wolfed them down was we had just arrived after a long 5+mile hike and were starving. The ricepaper skin was tough and leathery, and the filling wasn't very substantial. The sauce also needed to be thicker to stick to the rolls. * Parking can be a bit of a hassle, especially if you arrive during the nearby farmers market (Sat 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.), as they are located in the large parking lot on Depot St. Conclusion: Overall, we had very high hopes for this place, as this is the type of place we usually love. However, even after two visits, we just don't see ourselves coming back for another visit anytime soon.

This place lives up to all the hype as one of the best breakfast joints in the area, with huge portions, friendly service, and that cozy local vibe. I started with the chocolate cream drink (their rich, creamy hot chocolate or chocolate milk variation--whatever it exactly is, it's indulgent!). It was perfectly sweet without being overpowering, super smooth and velvety, topped just right. If you're a chocolate lover, this hits the spot and pairs amazingly with breakfast. Not too heavy, but definitely satisfying. For my main, I went with the famous Rosebud breakfast, and I can see why it's a favorite for so many people. It's a hearty, loaded plate with eggs, meats, potatoes, and all the classic fixings done exceptionally well. Everything was cooked perfectly--fluffy eggs, crispy edges where needed, and those fresh country potatoes were addictive. The portions are generous; I couldn't finish it all and definitely didn't need lunch afterward! The staff was quick, welcoming, and the place was buzzing with locals. If you're in Gilroy and craving a solid, no-fuss breakfast with standout items like the Rosebud and a great chocolate drink, OD's Kitchen is a must-visit. I can say, without hesitation, that this was the second worst Chicken Fried Steak I've ever had in my life. The breading completely came off the steak. The steak was thin and WAY over cooked. It was tougher than shoe leather. I could barely cut it with the steak knife, and it gave my jaw a helluva workout trying to chew that thing. And the gravy was terrible. So thin, I could see the steak right through it. It looked like a glazed donut. That's how thin the gravy was. Then, I asked for EXTRA crispy hash browns. They weren't even regular crispy, let alone EXTRA crispy. The eggs and the English muffin were fine. It's hard to mess up those things. The service was fine, but the kitchen COMPLETELY dropped the ball. I drove all the way from Santa Clara, thinking about the great CFS they used to have. Wasting all that gas, for one of the worst breakfasts I've had in a long, long time. smh
