Came here for our anniversary. We were basically the only ones there, but the food still took a while to come out. It was good, not great. I was expecting it to be similar to Fleming's because I've heard great things about Willard Hicks, but overall, it was just OK. I probably wouldn't come back for an anniversary dinner, but I'd maybe give it another try for brunch or lunch! The best thing was the calamari so try that for sure !

We really liked the aesthetic and vibe to this restaurant. A good place to bring a date. The food was very solid . I was also slightly confused by the menu because it didn't match their website so we improvised when it was time to order.

We went here for a late Mothers Day dinner. We had a reservation and we were seated right away. Service was great, everyone was very nice. My reason for 3 stars was sadly the food. We ordered the jalapeño cornbread as an appetizer and it tasted strange like a hint of fried chicken or something, I couldn't make it out. The blackberry glazed filet mignon has always been a favorite of mine in the past but this day it was lacking flavor. I was pretty sad about it. We had the crème brûlée for dessert and that was very good. The inside was nice and we got a nice corner booth, I enjoyed the ambiance.

Whenever I order this salad to-go or on DoorDash, it's consistently wrong and missing key ingredients and only given half as much lettuce as I would've received in person. I feel as though they're taking advantage of customers. It literally looks like they gave me half the salad.

My husband and I enjoyed a nice dinner here for our anniversary. First of all, the service is top notch as our waitress Elizabeth was super accommodating with all my questions about what dishes could be made gluten-free for my gluten sensitivity. The restaurant always seems bustling, warm and inviting. I recommend getting a reservation ahead of time to secure a table. The food itself was delicious. We had the ahi carpaccio to start along with a couple of their amazing cocktails. For dinner we brought our own wine (they don't charge corkage fee for the first bottle). We both ordered steaks- I ordered the blackberry glazed filet mignon and my husband had the ginger ponzu ribeye. Both came perfectly medium rare. Our waitress checked on our frequently making sure everything we arrived as ordered. The brussel sprouts we ordered as a side were also delicious. For dessert the restaurant brought us a crème brûlée with "Happy Anniversary " written on it, which we found was a very nice touch in an already great meal. We will definitely be back again for more special occasion dinners.

Pile of gristle laden bites - I gave up after 50%. I tried, I really did. I kept hoping it would get better the more I got into it.

This is not the W&H that I remember from a few years ago. The quality of their beef is terrible. I suspect they are now serving "choice" steaks instead of "prime" cuts. My steak was full of gristle. And it wasn't a one time occurrence - my wife & I both ordered the 18 oz ribeye - medium rare. Both steaks were gristly, but mine was terrible - see picture. $65 X 2 for this crap? The temperature was a little undercooked, but that did not affect the poor quality of the cut of beef. The manager comp'd our (2) $14 salads, but that did not make up for inedible steaks. The brussel sprouts were great. But the steaks SUCKED. Our dogs enjoyed the left overs - a fitting end to what could have been a great anniversary celebration.

We had received mixed reviews about WH in MH, but wanted to judge for ourselves. And we were very pleased! Service was great--offered drinks and appys then given just the right amount of time to enjoy. Our order was placed, and food came in a timely manner. Our server was relatively new, she explained, but did a great job. We are an outdoor table on a pleasant evening--well shaded and very nice. So happy to try for ourselves and say we had a great dinner!

As soon as we walked in, I knew it was the right choice to celebrate a birthday on a Monday afternoon. Everyone here was all smiles. The bartender was outstanding! Give her a raise lol. My loaded potato was loaded, ha! I enjoyed every bite I took of bacon, cheese, and sour cream. It was delicious. There were two other people at the bar and we got the party started and sang happy birthday. I love the happy vibes we got from everyone here. In addition to our wonderful meal and service, they brought us a special birthday dessert. How awesome are they?! They also have a live DJ every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:30-9:30 PM.

Came in to catch the Monday night football game and sat at the bar and was able to secure a seat. Fair warning and I'm being critical here, the TVs are a little high when sitting at the bar, but it's the only place they can put them so that's not on them. Perhaps sit at the bigger table in the back so you don't get a kink neck :). Ordered the bone-in ribeye which was fantastic and good perfectly! I did add the peppercorn sauce which was okay, would probably give it a pass as the meat is good on its own with just salt. Service was a tad slow as it was fairly busy, but being at the bar and limited seats would still expect a little faster.

Always great steaks. Reserved a table for 5 people, and we're welcomed in and seated quickly. Waiter had water on the table in 3 mins, so fast and efficient. They had a DJ spinning some tracks during our time there, not too loud just enough to add ambiance. And the steaks... always great here, can't go wrong as far as steaks go!

Went with a group to celebrate galentines day. Keep in mind we went on a Wednesday evening and the place was pretty dead. Our party didn't feel tended to. Wait staff was checking up on everyone around us, but somehow we were overlooked constantly. That was a bit irritating. However, I will say staff was nice when we were checked on. I ordered a steak burger and fries. The burger was delicious. However the fries were cold and undercooked. The large cut fries is a great concept, but they need to be cooked more thoroughly. I'm hoping it was just an off night.

Went with my Dad. It was my first time here, and I called ahead of time and they said the first bottle is a free cork fee so I was immediately down to try this place. We sat outside, as it was a nice day that day. One guy came a couple times in the beginning and made sure we were ok and our actual waiter seemed to take 45 min or so to get us menus. I wasn't sure if it was because my dad and I were talking so much, but I knew if we didn't get a menu soon he could keep talking forever We ordered a couple cocktails and an app to start and those were great! One spicy margarita type and the sidecar, and crab cakes, all three were fabulous. My dad and I always do this thing for food where we order two entrees and split them. They were able to split the salad with a salmon filet, but unfortunately not the ribeye. The salad was a good portion for the half size. I probably wouldn't get the salmon again though, not much sauce or seasoning and a little too fishy for me personally. The steak was alright, a little pricey for it being sub par. We asked for medium rare and I didn't see any pink. The onion glaze was ok not bad. While eating it my dad and I both agreed we would've rather paid the extra $15 and gotten the steak elsewhere. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't great, and I would've given the place at least a 4 if it wasn't for the service being slow on bringing us a menu and checking up on us and tbh the restroom wasn't the best looking, I had to move through a couple stalls before choosing

We were greeted by a very friendly waitress. She said we could sit wherever we wanted, asked if we've been in before, and told us about the specials. The interior is cozy, it kind of reminded me of dive bar vibes. They have a lot of drinks on tap and some frozen slushies. I opted for organic iced tea since I don't drink. When I went to the bathroom, I noticed one of the slushies was non-alcoholic so I might try that next time. We ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger with Chili Cheese Fries and the Supreme wood-fired pizza. The burger was fantastic! The BBQ sauce was delicious, the bacon and onion rings were crispy, and the fries were great. I enjoyed the chili, but I didn't think the cheese sauce or sour cream really stood out. I thought the crust on the pizza was perfect, I really enjoyed the wood-fired vibe and fresh toppings. This would probably be my favorite pizza if they used better mozzarella. For now, Bizza is holding the top spot for me since they use Butcher's Son mozzarella, and in my opinion, it's the best vegan mozzarella sub I've ever had from pizza spots so far. Even though I have notes, I still think the overall meal was a home run and the staff were super friendly so they get 5-stars in my book.

The ambience is pretty nice, they have nice animal pictures throughout the restaurant. They have indoor and outdoor seating, a full walk up or sit down bar, and TV's. 3 stars. #3. The service was fantastic, glasses constantly being refilled, asked us if we wanted more bread and butter and our server made some great recommendations "5 Stars" The Food: #1. They gave us 2 nice warm bread rolls with a room temperature salted butter cube. The bread at first tasted salty but then my palate caught up and oh snap! this bread was good!! 5 Stars! #2. The server recommended the beef Wellington. "I ordered it med rare, it came to me med rare" it comes with mashed potatoes and longstem broccoli with cherry tomatoes, and a wine/vinegar reduction for the Wellington. The broccoli had a nice crispness to it and were seasoned perfectly, the cherry tomatoes added some brightness. The mashed potatoes were silky smooth and paired perfectly with the Wellington. NOW THE BEEF WELLINGTON: OH MY .....GOSH!!! My eyes rolled back into my head, it was so good!! The beef was as soft as butter, I could have used a butter knife to cut it (not kidding) and it melted in my mouth. The seasoning with the dough and the spinach with the mushrooms inside nearly caused a wet dream (if you get my point) "and don't even get me started on their reduction sauce for the Wellington!" The waiter walked up to me and smiled and said "and I quote"... gives you goosebumps, right? Oh he knew, HE KNEW!! 5++++ Stars! #3. Wifey ordered the Grilled Salmon salad. She ate the Salmon so fast that I barely had a chance to taste it. She said she really liked it, now I did get a chance to taste the salad and I must say that it was so good that it could have been a stand alone dish. Again 5 Stars. #4. And for dessert we had tiramisu. It came plated beautifully with a raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, whipped cream, and a beautiful orchid flower. The flavor while not the best I've had was still pretty darn good 4 Stars. Overall food and dining experience at the restaurant easily hits 5 stars! Total bill for said food - tip $124 pricewise I felt it was well worth it. Oh I will be back!

He came to our table just after we were seated and before we had a chance to look at anything. Stood there looking annoyed as we scrambled to look at the menu for drinks and appetizers. We very quickly told him we would need a few minutes. The few minutes though turned into 10-15 before he came back to take our order. The appetizer took an extremely long amount of time to get to table. The young man who brought it wasn't our server and did not check to see if we needed anything else. When our waiter eventually came back with our cocktails. He just held them out to the nearest person and made us pass them down the table. Eventually after another long wait, our meals arrived. Server nowhere to be found. By this time our first drinks and waters were empty. Server didn't come by for quite awhile after. Some of our party asked for more drinks and water. We never got more water. Server never came by mid meal to ask how we were doing. If we needed anything else. I would've ordered another drink if I had a shred of confidence that it would've been delivered before I finished my meal. Speaking of the cocktail. YOU DO NOT MUDDLE THE CHERRIES IN AN OLD FASHIONED. It was just a mash of fruit floating around at the bottom of the glass. We finally saw our server again when he came by to ask if we wanted desert. He dropped off the menus and then disappeared for another 10+ minutes. At which point I had to go find him to inform him that we wanted to order dessert since we were celebrating my father's birthday. When the other young man brought our desserts we had to ask for new plates and clean utensils. We again had to ask for more water since it wasn't brought when previously asked for. Our server then eventually showed up for the check. He told us the first card didn't go through. He did not do this quietly or with tact. He came back after the second card didn't go through. We did not get any banking notifications about these and inquired if perhaps their system was the problem. It wasn't until the third card didn't go through that he admitted they were trying to fix the problem on their end. He did not apologize. We've dined at this restaurant multiple times a year for several years. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had here. If you care at all about the service you pay for then I would suggest you avoid this restaurant. Very disappointed. Next time we'll be dining elsewhere.

We drove almost 3 hours to visit while spending the day in the area, and honestly, we would've rather grabbed fast food instead. What made it worse was that we were hoping to treat our mom to a nice meal, but all of us ended up disliking the food. The appetizer plates we were first given were visibly dirty, so we had to ask for clean replacements right away. A few people in our group ordered the loaded clam chowder since we'd seen so many positive reviews online, but it was extremely underwhelming. The seafood tasted undercooked and the soup itself had barely any flavor. The wait time was also frustrating. We received appetizers fairly quickly, but waited almost an hour and a half for our entrees. During that time, staff kept coming by offering extra bread and refills we didn't ask for, which honestly felt more like an attempt to make up for the long delay. Meanwhile, several larger parties that arrived after us were served their meals before we were, even though our group was only 5 people. What also made the experience uncomfortable was that once our food finally arrived, we felt rushed to leave. After waiting, staff were already trying to clear plates while some of us were still eating, which felt unfair considering the delay was completely out of our control. By the time the food finally arrived, the quality just did not justify the wait. Overall, it was a very disappointing Mother's Day experience, especially after driving so far. Sadly, we won't be returning.

Another sign states that Betsy's has been serving this community since 1981. I was greeted immediately upon entering and advised to "just sit anywhere." I grabbed the first booth I encountered and was brought water and menu right away. The waitress took my order of a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings ($16.50). A few minutes later the onion rings of my dreams (super crispy on the outside and a real onion rings inside with enough crunch left that you can bite through without dragging a soggy onion out of its outer shell, so each mouthful is both onion and crunchy coating) arrived and a sandwich with crispy (not soggy, underdone) bacon, hefty burger patty (done just how I like them with carmelized edges and perfectly done thick center) with cheese, pickles, red onions, lettuce and mayo. I asked them to leave off the tomato due to my food allergies. The bun was soft but held up well to the heft of the sandwich. The decor was classic 60's style diner. While the seats were well padded and the covering looked practically new, some of the tables showed the wear of the years on the corners. There is also a short lunch counter next to the kitchen. What really caught my attention is the staff seemed to know most of the guests and greeted them by name as they came and went and inquired into different aspects of their lives. Both were yummy yet I must say the chili verde and eggs were the favorite at the table. I have to mention the coffee was good and our mugs were always full. Betsy's crew was so friendly and attentive. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile at the door, seated timely and given time to figure out what to order. By the way, all the tables were full. Which immediately told me, we were about to have a fantastic meal. The restaurant was clean, ran smoothly and the customers all truly looked to be enjoying their meals. Can't wait to try the pancakes!

Most recent dining experience is at Il Vigneto but the review could apply to Iron Bar too…read more Executive chef Basarov has been around about a year and has really hit his stride, updating many of the classics with Mediterranean and Latin American themes. Pastry chef Manon is amazingly talented with a wide variety of crave worthy cakes and decadent ice creams & sorbets. (Dec 2022 update: sadly it looks chef manon is moving on; Cordevalle is advertising for a new pastry chef.) French Baguette: some like is soft but I ask for it seared crusty. The aged prosciutto is real Parma and outstanding. Tuna Tartare: a classic and deservedly so. The sweetness of the soy and the spice of the chiles accentuate the tuna. Butternut squash soup: light and delicate and not too creamy. Good crunch from sunflower seeds. So good I got this again. Short Rib: menu says domestic wagyu which might be overkill for slow cooking. Regardless it's very tender. The polenta is a little too cheesy for me. Gnocchi & Truffles: it hasn't been on the menu recently but I beg you to order it if you see it. No description needed - just eat it. Thanksgiving turkey: cooked sous vide which keeps the breast meat moist and tender. The dark meat was shredded and nicely seasoned. Cranberry: listed as cranberry and cinnamon compote. Tastes like it has orange in it as well. I had to taste it 4 or 5 times to make sure. And take some home... Pumpkin pie: holy pumpkin Batman! I'm not obsessed with pumpkin like some are but this was easily the best I've ever had. Outstanding doesn't do it Justice. Pecan pie: with maple and bourbon! Yes this is sweet as pecan pie should be but not cloyingly sugary. The torched marshmallow on top kicks it up another notch. The bar tender makes an excellent Manhattan. There's a good selection of wine. Like everyone who works at cordevalle, the staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. Reminder you're at a high end restaurant at a high end resort so you pay for what you get.

@cordevalleca amazing 24hrs! Best service. Best resort. Best food. Living out best lives! Dinner…read moreat Il Vigneto...started with aperol spritz a a little "snack" of parm and prosciutto. Love this way to start the meal. Next the "taste of the South Bay" seafood platter- oysters, shrimp, and yellowtail carpaccio. Bread course with garlic confit. "Our burrata" pasta-subtle yet spicy. The star dish of the night was the parpadelle with slow braised lamb shank, fava beans, and pecorino. Wow!! loved all the flavors here but especially the differing textures of slow cooked lamb mixed with crispy pieces and fresh fava beans. The service was as impeccable as the food! If you ever have the chance to eat here- do it!
