Nice lounge spot by the water to sip a cold brew!

While exploring options near my new found home in TN Yelp lead me here. And I'm glad it did! First things - the exterior patio is so freaking fun! Lots of tables with shade umbrellas, a pool/fountain, lots of plants, and tons of fun & funky decor! I was absolutely going to sit outside to enjoy this! The inside of the beer house is great too - with the fun theme continued if that's more your thing. It's also important to note the beer house and restaurant are in SEPERATE buildings! Not an issue really - you just have to walk over, order, then they bring it to you. The beer house has a lot of brews on tap - local and imports! I believe there were about 24 to choose from so lots of options! You can even do flights (4 or 6) which I always do when at a new place to see what I might like a full pint of in the future. There was only one beerista to serve a long line of thirsty patrons, but she moved the line fairly quickly. The restaurant next door didn't have the same appeal as the beer joint and I'm not sure I'd find myself doing anything other than ordering food to be brought next door to me from there. Not exactly somewhere I'd like to sit and enjoy my food. (Maybe a clever ploy to get you to drink more beer - LOL) I enjoyed most of my flight for sure. As for food - I got the "famous chicken salad". The bread was nicely grilled and overall it was pretty good. But it wasn't my type of chicken salad - it was very sweet! Next time I'll opt for a pizza since they looked pretty good coming to others or some other type of sandwich. They also have live music occasionally too! So that's cool. I'll be back for sure once I'm settled in my new home!

We went as a group on Tuesday evening for trivia night. The ambience was great. A lot of street parking spots available. I got the pineapple cider which is super light and refreshing. My colleague's dark chocolate beer is so special. The pool is definitely the highlight, although the dummy is interesting. The trivia was so fun! It was a little chilly outside after it got dark and the manager guy helped us got a table indoors. Would love to come back during summer time to get some splashes. And next time will for sure get some good food.

A fun little place that is dog friendly! I wasn't a huge fan of the ordering set up, as you had to order from this really high counter, that my eyeballs barely reached over. However, loved the ambiance and the uniqueness of this hole in the wall type of bar.

Finally gave this funky little place a try. The decor is eclectic to say the least. There is seating inside (picnic tables) and out. So, the seating is geared to groups. Would be nice to have a bar to sit and chat with the bartender if you drop in solo. There is a good selection of craft beers on tap and there is a kitchen serving food (appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and pizza). Fun atmosphere and a bonus, at least for me, was the music - hard rock and classic rock - playing while I was there. If you like beer, definitely check this place out.

The bacon is missing in my BLT...?

This review is just on the food we ordered. The ambience is great, the outdoor seating area is really cozy, the staff was friendly, and the beer options were impressive, although we did not have any tonight. We were just looking for a fun place to grab a bite before a movie and yelp led us to try this joint out. I ordered a simple BLT and fries, my husband ordered a burger. The food was beyond disappointing. Once I found the bacon on my BLT it was thin and chewy like it had been reheated or something. And there was barely any on the sandwich. My husband's hamburger tasted like a frozen patty or something you would get at a school cafeteria. His burger bun was also stale and hard on one side. The only thing that was okay were the fries and the homemade dipping sauce which had a nice kick. We did see others ordered food which looked better than what we were served, especially the pizza. If we come here again, we may give it a try. Very disappointed tonight, however. First impression was a big bust.

Great people - great atmosphere - live music 4 nights per week and solid beer menu. Best place in town to relax and enjoy a cold beer.

The focaccia is heavenly! Our selections were the pork chop with peachy grits(!) and the house made seasonal pasta, which had lots of amazing mushrooms. I added bbq tofu for protein. No regrets. Everything was marvelous. I needed a container for about 1/3 of the pasta. We thought we were too full to continue but Skyler pointed out the dessert is free on your birthday, so...we forced ourselves to try it. We had the Pôt de Crème. And it, too, was marvelous. Our server, Skyler was there when we needed her, very attentive but not overbearing. All in all, a completely delightful experience.

Everything else was terrible, except the potato fritters but the price point over-road the flavor. Warm water, if you want bread that will be another $8. The owner did take off the pasta but the pasta needs to come with a warning if you hate olives avoid with your life!! I ask for the olives to be removed and not placed but they pre make the pasta so that is not an option. My husband's dish was equally disappointing, we left starving and spent twice as much as we would have at Season's in Knoxville. Later that night we both had horrible stomach issues. Again the waitress was fantastic but on a Friday evening and there was only 5 other tables should have been the warning sign.

There are tables, booths, bar/counter seats, plus outdoor seating, and windows galore that flood the room with natural light. It's bright, cheerful, and instantly welcoming. Every visit I've made, the place has been spotless--dining room, restrooms, everything. Plus the WiFi is solid, making this a great weekday spot to work from when I want to linger; they've always seemed fine with me setting up at the bar counter in the corner and staying until closing. Service has always been great. Contrary to some negative reviews I've seen, I've not had a bad experience here. Every server has been courteous, attentive, and hustling--nothing sloppy, no waiting around. As for the food--nothing but hits so far. Every dish I've ordered has been delicious, the temperature spot‑on, and the presentation pleasing. Some of my favorite go‑tos: Morning Meditation Fresh Juice -- crisp and refreshing Market Hash -- two cage‑free eggs any style, atop fresh seasoned potatoes, with house‑roasted Crimini mushrooms, zucchini, shallots, red peppers, baby spinach, melted Mozzarella, and herbed Goat cheese; served with whole grain artisan toast Bacado Omelet -- bacon, avocado, Monterey Jack, topped with sour cream, served with house‑made Pico de Gallo, lemon‑dressed organic mixed greens, and artisan toast They even rotate seasonal menu items, so there's always something new to try. Portions are generous--you're getting your money's worth and likely won't be hungry again until dinner. Bottom line: I'm a big fan. FW has raised the bar for breakfast in Oak Ridge, and I'm so glad they're here. Highly recommended.
