Should have read the individual reviews more carefully. I was prepared for obnoxiously loud music but I expected much better food. Pretzel was ok, included "cheese wiz" and ?horseradish sauces not so much. Piglet sandwich was greasy and not much flavor. Titan wrap is in desperate need of green/fresh herbs. Fries with both entrees were forgettable. Not sure what other options are in the neighborhood since it's not my usual area, but this place will not be a repeater. read more

Fun place to come for brunch or even a drink one evening. They have a good selection of craft beer and their brunch food is awesome. I recommend making a reservation if you're coming for brunch because it gets packed! But it's always a good time. They do bottomless and have live music! read more

Sorry, but this one is the pits. We walked in for a late Saturday lunch.the place wasn't crowded and the service was fine (the service is what earned the stars). Beer selection surprisingly poor to fair at best. I ordered the Ripper Dog. It's on the menu, but it's not a ripper dog. If you don't know, the primary point of s ripper is that the hot dogs are deep fried until they burst open. The dogs here were undercooked and chewy, slathered with sour cream and avocados, for some unknown reason, and topped off with the least spicy, almost tasteless cherry peppers you've ever seen. The French fries might have been ok 2 days ago, but they were a pile of greasy garbage today. My wife ordered Thai chicken wraps, which turned out to be grilled chicken strips and shredded carrots with some teriyaki/soy sauce mixture straight out of the bottle. Nothing remotely "Thai" about it (maybe the one forkful of rice noodles was supposed to make it Thai? This would have been embarrassing if it came in a white styrofoam clamshell at the mall. I've been here so many times and I can't believe I've never reviewed it. The food is great, the beer selection is amazing, and the staff is absolutely incredible. Spiro, Alyssa, Alanna... it doesn't get any better. Stop by during a football game and you won't believe the specials. Stop by at any other time and enjoy a full menu of amazing food. Walking into a place that looks like a perfect craft beer bar made me exciting to partake. The list of beers on tap was amazing. Then we had dinner which brought down a 4 star rating to 2 stars. I had the turkey burger which was way too thick and overcooked. The roll was not right for the burger and broke up into smaller pieces. I had to eat it with a fork and knife! My girlfriend had the chicken sandwhich that was dry and tasteless. Maybe we just ordered the wrong items but based on what we had, 2 stars was more than fair. read more

great place to get some drinks and hang with friends, bands there are awesome, little loud, can't carry on a conversation sometimes. Very cool outdoor bar area open in the summertime, with live music also. On the weekend days I've seen it packed for sports. A nice mix of age groups. There's room to dance if you feel like it. First time there as I heard some good things about this joint..Won't be returning. Came in for a quick cocktail and wings. The only thing juicy on the wings were the sauce, those little suckers were as dry as the Sahara desert. I ordered a French martini and it tasted like cotton candy, not a French martini. We love the sausage sampler pretzel and the burgers are pretty good, too. They have a great beer list and the service is usually good. The music tends to be screeching loud, but it is not too bad if you sit in the dining area. The host also refused to lower it when we asked. We also noticed the weird smell that another reviewer wrote about. Can't put our finger on what it is but it's definitely perceptible. Overall, it is a good local, reliable place. read more

We went here for football a few weeks ago. We walked in and the busboy was great about getting us our place settings and water right away. Then we waited a half hour with waitresses not making eye contact and pretending we didn't exist. Everyone else around us was served except us. "Am I a mirage?" My boyfriend joked. My friend and went here on a Wednesday night and it was not crowded at all. The food was good, but the service was not. Our waiter ignored us for a large portion of our meal and never brought me the second water I asked him for. Instead, he was socializing with a very loud group of people at the bar, in plain sight. The teenage busboys that worked there were just hanging around as well and were joking around with the waiters. Overall, this seemed like a very unprofessional environment and a managerial nightmare. read more

Good venue to watch games or just hang out. Trivia night is fun and you can win a $25 gift card. They have good happy hr/brunch/taco tues/burger and brews wed deals as well as a decent selection of beer and drinks. The service was a little slow but I only saw 1 or 2 waiters for the whole place so I guess it would be expected on a busy night. Came here for trivia Tuesday. Great, casual vibe, exposed brick and awesome Edison light fixtures. Ordered the pretzel, the dips were fantastic but the pretzel itself was super salty. My boyfriend and I came here Monday of Memorial Day Weekend to enjoy a quick bite and a beer. The bartender took our order until our waiter was done fixing the keg. She was extremely attentive and knew the menu really well. We ordered the Reuben Spring Rolls (which ended up being my favorite), and the Bleus Dip (a buffalo chicken dip that was insane) as our appetizers. I ordered the Bull Burger with bacon, fried egg, and ham and my boyfriend ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger with fried pickles and jalapeño BBQ sauce. Everything was amazing! The general manager went above and beyond to accommodate all 20+ of us - food, drinks, music, sound control, you name it. Went here with a friend from High School to try out the new place. Compared to the dive that was Mary McNamara's (previously) this place is an absolute delux bar that is among the best in the area now. The decor is beautiful with thick planks of wood. There's now an eclectic food menu and numerous beers on tap. I ordered the bacon (because who doesn't love bacon????) which came with a side of jalapeño cornbread with maple syrup. Absolutely out of site. I had the wings as well and they were top notch. The craft beer selection is excellent and some even come in 32oz steins! Will come back again and again. This is the perfect Sunday game bar. There are plenty of televisions to watch any game and the bartenders are more than willing to change the channel to your game. read more

This is a nice place with a great beer list! I don't really understand some of the negative reviews that are on here so far. The food was well done and the menu has lots of interesting offerings. Is it a gourmet restaurant, no, but it's not supposed to be. It does pub food about as well as anyplace around. We got the fried pickles and they were some of the better ones I've had. In addition, my burger was cooked appropriately and had great flavor. The only negative that exists is that the service was pretty slow at times. That said, I am willing to chalk that up to being open only a few weeks and it being packed for a Jets game. Your general go-to pub / restaurant / bar. Awesome game day specials, good selection of food and it is surprisingly good. Decent prices, but again the specials are awesome during the games etc. great beer selection, surprisingly large and great choices. Only reason not a 4 or 5 Star is the service can be a bit poor depending on who you receive as a server, had one bad experience in particular, and there's sometimes just a weird smell in the place. Not sure how to describe it besides not a great smell, but about one out of every three visits it'll smell pretty bad. Only bad experience was server did not apply discount/coupon, even though he acknowledged it and said he was. Got bill back and he had not applied the 15-20% off. Asked him about it and he said he would re-do it, he then disappeared. Waited 20 minutes and he never showed up on the floor again, so that was unfortunate. Haven't been back since, but probably will give it another chance. read more

Very nice establishment. Love the burger and beer selection. The Lynbrook burger is what my dreams are made of. Only issues are the music is a little loud, even if you go at 7 pm on Friday to watch a game, and the service is a little slow, but they are friendly. Nonetheless, the food is great and the atmosphere is nice. read more
