Crafty Cow has so much potential but they flop every time I go. Their food is so heavy in grease. Everything is grease. The food is also overpriced for what you get. My child's hamburger was comparable to a hockey puck and her bun was just as hard. They're drinks are good, but again overpriced. They could make this place better and stay open later. read more

We were there with a party of 10 tonight and they seem to have fixed the issues that other people have mentioned. We got our food in about 15-20 minutes, everyone enjoyed their burgers. Cucumber mint mule was very good. Veggie burger was okay. Shrimp salad could have been much better if the salad was cold. On a hot day we wanted a cold salad and were disappointed that it was warm. The shrimp was warm as expected but the salad should have been ice cold. Also, it was unusually hot inside the restaurant. Maybe to sell more drinks?? read more

I've been here a couple times and each time I have loved the burgers. If you get the fries ask for the seasoned sauce to dip your fries. It's like a seasoned sour cream, it is sooo good. Devin, the owner, has a great thing going I just think they could improve a couple of things. For example the wait time. Last time I went we had to wait for over half an hour. If they would take reservations and use some form of computerized hostess system, that would greatly improve their customer experience and allow people to reserve ahead of time. We got there at 6:15pm on a Friday night. It was busy and about a 25 min wait but the bar was open to grab drinks. I got the bacon cheddar and it was honestly the best burger I've ever had. Their whiskey and bourbon selection was the best around. read more

New to town and was told a good hamburger. Went and it was great. They stuff the meat with cheese and cook it just right. Would recommend.

I want to start out by saying that our waitress was very nice and the hostess was very accommodating to our party of 10. But, the food was not good. The hamburgers are all medium to well done since they are "stuffed," with the cheese, which oozes out when you cut into it. The fries were very greasy and not cooked enough. Hands down the best cheese curds I have ever had. I tried one of their signature burgers "Twice baked" which had chips, sour cream, bacon, cheese, and onions (super good). Great service, creative burgers and an excellent array of craft brews make for a good dinner. We've gone twice and I've had both the Mushroom and Swiss burger as well as the Bleu Cheese burger. Both were great. The brews on tap are constantly changing and our waiter made some great recommendations based on others I've liked. He even regularly visits the other microbreweries in the area and was able to make recommendations based on my favorites at those locations. Every recommendation was spot on. If we have any concerns its that it can be difficult to get in with long wait times and the deep fried sides (French fries, cheese curds, etc) leave a bit to be desired. If they have the home made mozzarella sticks though, you have to order some! read more

I came here with my boyfriend, and this place turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Although I don't remember the name of the burger I had, I can tell you it was delicious. It was fat and juicy, flavorful cooked to perfection. Not your typical ketchup and mustard burgers though. Gourmet burgers that are so fresh and tasty, you don't even need condiments. We had a "small" order of fries that was huge..and the fries we super great too. They have a huge selection of beer... From local favorites to the best imports. My absolute favorite part was the whisky flight. 3 little glasses filled with your choice of whisky. They had other options too, but we picked our own. The teeling was the best whisky I've ever had . It was the smoothest I've ever had. Overall, the experience was great. We will definitely be back. read more

We started our meal with the cheese curds and they were fabulous. Light crispy beer batter with ranch dip. My son order the avocado melt, I ordered the grilled cheese and my hubby ordered the bacon stuffed burger. All of us enjoyed our food. Very tasty and fresh ingredients. We enjoyed our lunch experience at Crafty Cow. Great family friendly and trendy restaurant. Ample parking in the rear or street parking in the front. My husband and I went there on Saturday and it was busy! The restaurant looks great and we are very supportive of new businesses for our little town. The cheese curds were good but very greasy so probably not something we would order again. The burgers had excellent flavor and fries were good. I know it's early, but hopefully they add some tv's and real art to the back of the restaurant (all for supporting local artist but majority of whatever that collage is in back is not good. The rest of the restaurant looked nice and the mini shuffle board was exciting to see! A couple things that would have made it better for us: - need a changing room in bathrooms for kids. It may not be a place you want kids but the community has many young families in it -maybe a little less greasy or deep fried options. It is a burger bar but as a nod to all good ingredients ( non-gmo), would be nice if something could be healthy and taste good too ( hard to do but had to say it ). I thought the burgers, appetizers and beer were excellent. I would definitely come back for their food. The atmosphere needs some work. My husband and I went there to watch sports and being only 2, we were sat between the bar area and the back area with no good view of a TV. We moved ourselves to a table in the bar area but again were against a wall and no great view of a TV. It's a weird set up , a seat at the bar on the picnic style tables would be the best bet. read more

As another reader said "Crafty Cow has a lot of potential". Unfortunately the customer service fell short, the appetizer was served lukewarm and even paying the bill was difficult. With that said my burger was crazy amazing and unique; cheeseburger, bacon, pickle and peanut butter!
