Stopped in for lunch. Clean, nicely decorated sports bar with plenty of TV's and games. My wife and I had unsweetened ice tea and it was very good flavor and no bitterness. Server took our orders and the food came quickly. My wife's Rueben was very good and the Cole slaw was creamy and fresh. I ordered the Tuesday special of boneless wings 69 cents each. Six of each, sweet tai sauce and dry rub bbq. I ordered a side of cole slaw also. I thought I'd be pretty full with a dozen wings but when they came they were the size of the small premade meatballs you'd buy in the grocery store. The tai were just ok, but the dry rub tasted like they were rolled in pure salt. I love salt; but these were terrible. I ate one and thought maybe it was just that one, but the 2nd was just as bad. My wife had one and completely agreed. The server came by and asked how everything was, so I told her and she laughed and said they get that a lot, but didn't offer to replace them. I was hungry, so I rolled the last 3 in blue cheese which barely covered the salt. Another server came by to take our plates and asked how everything was. I told her about the wings and she asked me how many I had and walked to the kitchen. When the bill came there had been no adjustment. Based on my wife's meal it would probably be a 4 star review. Based on the small salty wing balls and disregard of the staff, I wouldn't go back. read more

We have been here many times over the years before moving out of town. We haven't been here for at least two years. It wasn't packed with people like we had seen before, especially for a Friday night. Oconomowoc has several more restaurants, so perhaps just because of more choices. It's a Sports bar/restaurant, so perhaps not so busy in June without a team in the hunt here for a championship. It is a large venue with a big center bar, lots of TVs, a couple pool tables and other games. The staff is friendly. We ordered fried pickles and Ruben rolls for appetizers. They were good. The burger and chicken wings were also fine, according to our guests. The salmon we ordered was literally so dry, it was inedible. The veggies and rice were not hot on delivery. The side salad was the smallest I've ever seen. We shared our feelings with our server about the salmon (who could see the food was still there when she picked it up). Her comment was "oh, sorry." She did not offer another dish or to take the meal off the bill. We were disappointed in this response, but didn't press to see the manager. We decided that ordering a salmon dish at a sports bar (that only cost $17.99) was not a good choice on our part. I would go back to watch a football game and have burgers and appetizers. read more

This place is huge inside!! Lots of TVs and tables. We sat in the back with our daughter for dinner and had great service. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich that was really good! We'll definitely be back, hopefully for a game and drinks! read more

Great spot for watching a game and a nice outdoor patio! I love the downtown Oconomowoc area. I came for lunch on a random Wednesday and was genuinely worried it would be a LONG wait. There were no workers in site and none of the tables appeared to have food. I was told I could sit anywhere and that this woman would be my waitress but was also bartending. Another red flag I'm thinking this won't be good. BUT was pleasantly surprised when she filled my water twice before my friend came and our food was out within 3 minutes. I don't know what's happened. Portions are tiny. Food is decent but it's really changed. Fancy huge plates with a tiny bit of food on it. Small French fry holder with hardly anything in them. I miss the old Cornerstone. Still a great place for a beer and maybe apps but no to the food. We just had 5 local families there and everyone walked away disappointed. read more

So evidently, COVID doesn't exist in Oconomowoc and Cornerstone is not required to follow any semblance of a protocol. Tables not distanced nor stools spaced out at the bar. Bartender nor waitstaff wearing masks. With food being a C and hygiene being a F, Cornerstone is a one and done for me. read more

First time here and I sat outside which had a nice, shady area. This is probably our new go to spot for some classic "bar food" but they also have a larger menu than just the classics found on a traditional pub menu. read more

We had the best time here! Skyler was an amazing server for our party of 20+ family and friends. He was on top of everything for the crew!! It was a great experience until we were told we had to leave our tables we reserved. I just wish that I had been told when I made the reservation, it had a time limit. Thought we would grab some lunch after walking downtown Oconomowoc's Fall festival. Stopped in here and noticed they had an outside deck (which allows dogs). Awesome!!! They have a wide array of food, from burgers to entrées of all kinds. soup of the day was Potato/bacon soup. Ordered the bacon ranch hamburger with fries. The service is impeccable...ordered and it was on the table within 15 minutes. Has a sports bar atmosphere and you can watch your favorite sporting events on multi screens. They have a full bar, and plenty of street parking. Definitely a return trip. read more

First time there for dinner. I ordered the chicken pot pie my date ordered the Quesdilla burger. Along w a diet sprite. Waitress was friendly but when she delivered the diet sprite I took a sip and it was awful. She said yes everyone complains about it. Mgt should fix the issue. Than our dinner arrived. It did not look like the picture at all but that's never a surprise. The surprise was there was nothing under the pastry except for gravy and maybe a table spoon of vegetables. 2 tiny and I mean tiny pieces of chicken. It looked like they had scraped the bottom of the pot and I got the last of the last. I did let the Waitress know to not recommend as it honestly was horrible. Quesdilla burger was way over cooked but no real complaints . Not sure we would give this place a second try. I wish I had remembered to take a pic. read more

Great food for a sports bar, good service and plenty of tv's in the bar area. The prime rib special on Saturday is really good.

OK spot overall. I totally recommend it to watch a game and have beer and appetizers. Great cheese curds haystack onion rings and rueben bites. Fish fry was awful- I felt bad for our waitress for having to serve it. I am guessing they anticipated the dinner rush and prepared it an hour or two in advance. Some of the pieces were cold, some hot and none browned or crispy. My brother had a piece of cod that he could not slice through with a knife-it just turned to mush. Fries were cold and tough like they sat on a counter since lunch to air out the freezer burn they tasted of. I'd go back, just not for a meal. Extra star because the Brewers won! read more

My boyfriend and I were out Sunday night and we're very excited to see the remodel. It is amazing inside we wanted to stay there until they closed.. until we talk to our bartender. She was very rude, unpleasant, and made us extremely uncomfortable to be there. She yelled at one of the waitresses passing by 4 I don't know what reason but it was very non-professional. We drank our drinks as fast as possible while we took a look around and left. It is beautiful and amazing inside the remodel is out of this world I couldn't figure out why after just reopening they would have such an unpleasant bartender. It was very disappointing read more

Great food, great atmosphere and good fun! Had the wings and they were excellent. Wife had the fish sandwich and really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend the rueben rolls as an appetizer. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Heads up on entrance. Come in on bank side, the entrance off Main Street is non- existent. The weekly specials look awesome. Worst COVID precautions in an establishment that I've seen. No masks being worn by ANYBODY. Not waitstaff, not kitchen staff, not bartenders. Not customers. No disinfecting. No hand sanitizer. No social distancing. Complete disregard for a global pandemic. Not to mention the food was subpar. Worse than the worst chicken alfredo I've ever had. Bad. Really bad. Great local sports bar and restaurant. We typically go for the fish fry. My wife recommends the beer batter cod with the he Lava Flow cocktail. I prefer the walleye. Service has always been very good. They also have a few pool tables, darts, etc. up in the bar area for some fun before or after dinner. read more
