Had a large reservation here last night for a gathering, my boyfriend and i arrived last of the group at about 6pm and there was actually no where to park! We were pretty late due to the fact that there were zero spots available. I definitely feel like this is a common theme in the restaurant industry; over booking reservations, over seating walk-in tables . Service wise, food came pretty fast! I ordered the Caprese pizza and it was okay! I also had a glass of wine that unfortunately was never offered to be refilled. The restrooms were clean and well kept! Went here for dinner. It's a typical Brewhouse, craft beers, house made sodas, and a wide variety menu from salads and burgers to steak and pasta. I ordered their house craft root beer which was good but a little flatter than I'd prefer. As my main I ordered their bbq brisket. I expected shredded beef but got almost more of a steak. Deep Smokey flavor and perfect ratio of sauce to meat. My meal came with green beans and shallot and chive whipped mashed potatoes. The green beans were fresh and crunchy with a hint of pepper. The potatoes were melt in your mouth delicious!!! Service was decent but I would say this place was on the loud side. It was hard to have a conversation without projecting your voice. Arrived at Delafield brewhouse last night at 5:30 PM. There was three people in our party. One person from our party got there about 20 minutes early and sat at a table. Not one person came in 20 minutes to check on her or ask if she wanted anything to drink while she waited. When the two of us arrived, we ordered drinks right away and an appetizer as soon as the waiter came. The beer and the artichoke dip were amazing! Yum! I personally ordered the Southwest Ranch Salad. When it arrived, I knew right away that It wasn't going to be very good. It was a plain looking salad but not many other salad choices that looked good to me at the time. The salad was made with chicken thighs, which struck me as a little different from the beginning and is a cheaper meat. There was maybe six tiny little chicken thighs on the plate. The buttermilk fried breading was so over powering and when I cut into the chicken thighs, there were strings of tendons and very fatty. Multiple pieces I couldn't eat. It was not a good salad. The other two people I came with said their sandwiches were "okay, but nothing special". Sadly we are not rushing back. read more

I came here for a private party and I can't resist writing a review because the woman tasked with overseeing everything for the gathering was incredible! She was the bartender, server (set up and replenished the food) and was also on clean up duty. She was so incredibly kind - like the epitome of Midwest kind and everyone noticed it. When you spend money on an event the last thing you want is to have to worry about logistics, rude service, long lines for drinks, etc. Beyond the stellar service the space was perfect for the gathering, In fact it was much larger than I expected and provided a great overhead view of the main bar/dining space. The food never ran out and the charcuterie had a nice selection of both meats and cheeses. Lots of guests liked the shared ham. I personally liked the generous drink pours which made two drinks more than enough. The venue was also conveniently located for those of us in Milwaukee and others in the burbs. Our party of nine stopped by for lunch after an extensive "workout" at the High Roller Fun Rentals in Waukesha. My husband, two young daughters, and I shared the haus smoked barbecue pork sandwich with fries and half rotisserie chicken with fries and green beans. The pulled pork was topped with barbecue sauce and creamy coleslaw. It was finger-licking good. The rotisserie chicken was brined with rosemary and thyme. It was tender and moist. We were recently trail wandering at the nearby Kettle Moraine Lapham Peak and were looking for some post-hike bites. We weren't sure what exactly to expect and Delafield Brewhaus definitely has more restaurant vibes than brewery (though obviously, they're both!). We were seated straight away around 5pm on a Sunday afternoon/early evening. We wanted to enjoy some snacks and beers while playing cribbage before ordering our dinner and our server kindly obliged (they weren't busy so we weren't holding up anything by keeping the table). We started with their house made chips and beer cheese dip. This made for the perfect card playing snack! Their beer cheese is the perfect dipping consistency (not too thin) and tasty as well. For our beers, we both were going to go for their bourbon barrel aged stout. The server asked us to give it a try before ordering and I'm so glad she did! While bourbon barrel aged stouts are usually my jam, theirs was a little different and was not my favorite. I went for their peanut butter porter, which is excellent. For my main, I got their mushroom swiss beyond burger, which was solid (though nothing extraordinary). It comes with fries which are crinkle cut and also also aok. For my second beer, I got another of their porters, which was also lovely! My favorite beer of the evening, though, remains the peanut butter porter. The service was on the slower side and friendly. Sometimes you have a hankering for apps and a beverage in lieu of a meal. If that is your feeling heading to Delafield Brewhouse on a nice summer night will satisfy your heart's desires. Inside is an open, spacious brewery look with a nice bar that has plenty of seating. While I have sat inside a number of times and never been disappointed the true experience is on the back patio. The patio is tucked away on the side of the building behind numerous trees making it invisible from the street. You'll find yourself siting amongst the homegrown hops (yes, you heard that right! They grow their own hops during summer!) and enjoying the Wisconsin summer with friendly, attentive weight staff. The beers brewed in-house can be run of the mill or something very unique as the Brewmaster loves his beer and loves to brew new and exciting beers to draw in the crowds. Even if you are not looking to eat, I encourage you to stop and enjoy a beverage! We were not looking for a heavy meal, rather ordering a few apps - two of which were half price for the Monday - Thursday Happy Hour! The Reuben stuffed pretzel is really good. If you are a fan of Reubens and giant pretzels make sure you grab one of these however, they are a special and come and go. The loaded tots come piled high with toppings. We stopped at the Delafield Brewhaus on our way into town for a bite to eat and a place to watch the Badger basketball game, which it was great for! To start, we had the Asiago cheese dip with our first round of drinks. We both really loved the appetizer, but it was a little on the heavy side since it only came with bread for dipping. We said it would be really great with some carrots or tortilla chips. I ordered the Grecian salad and it was one of the best salads I've ever had. I really love Mediterranean foods and flavors, so the salad hit the spot! My fiancé got the Reuben and really enjoyed it too. Although we were there on a Saturday around lunchtime, it was not super busy and we didn't have to wait for a table. Despite this, our service was pretty slow... only until it came time to pay. So once we were done eating at our table, we decided to move to the bar to finish watching the game and have another drink. Hold the Ribs! I reviewed the Delafield Brewhaus, and this is how it went... I've had a disappointing dining experience. I have been to this place on several occasions, and this time, I learned that I won't be having the ribs any time soon! We were seated pretty quickly; our timing was perfect because soon after we arrived, the place got packed! Is this a testament to the food or the spectacular in-house brewery? I couldn't tell you, but it appeared people were having a good time, so I know it couldn't have been as disappointing for others as I was. I deviated from my regular burger choices and finally went for the rack of ribs. Boy, that was a mistake. My platter came out lukewarm, and when I tried to pull them apart, it was simply impossible, I then tried cutting them apart, and it honestly was an effort, to say the least. Once I accomplished getting my first rib separated, I jumped in for the first bite, and I bit, and I bit... these were the toughest ribs I've eaten, forget falling off the bone as most rib joints serve them, that wasn't going to happen here. To top it off, they weren't very favorable and pretty skimpy on the barbeque sauce too! I informed the waitress, who was very nice and didn't think twice about exchanging them for another menu selection, so I got the fish fry, which was breaded cod. Cod is the only fish that I eat. I'm not a big fan of fish, but I'm a pretty good judge when it comes to cod. Okay, on with it... my cod came out surprisingly quick, and the first thing that struck me was the little squares, almost cube-like. The fish was overtaken by the breading; there appeared to be way less cod than breading. The quality of the cod was far lower than I'm used to, but I can't complain. The friendly service and the fact that the waitress wanted to make sure we were taken care of was refreshing, the service by far outranked the food. But please, don't get me wrong, the burgers are great, so if you want a burger platter, there is a great assortment, which I'm sure is great! My burger experience at this place has always been great! The atmosphere, high ceilings, and a true brewery feel are something everyone should experience. The restrooms are very clean, and you can always tell if the restrooms are clean, the kitchen is clean. So don't let this review dissuade you from visiting, the Delafield Brewhaus is a great place, just not a fan of the ribs or the fish fry. Wanting to grab some good food without having to go too far from the hotel we stopped in here. As someone who eats off the gluten sensitive / gluten free menu, I was very impressed with the Brewhaus in Delafield. I asked the hostess if it was labeled on the menu or potentially getting a small sheet of paper with some options. But no, I was an entire menu booklet with everything very clearly labeled. And even recommendations on the dressing for the salads to limit cross contamination!! Aside from being impressed with the gluten sensitive menu, I was impressed with my ordering of a salad! I chose the Asian Chicken salad. A very big bowl/plate of mixed greens, almonds, edamame, sliced oranges and grilled chicken. I ate the orange slices first, not quite sure of those with a salad dressing. Upon finishing that, I put some of the dressing on the sald and ate the whole thing. Wow, it was of my favorite salad dishes I've had anywhere. (Never thought I'd be putting that out there but here I am.) But your usual ambiance being in a brewhaus of any kind. The smell of beer in the air and all if the equipment very visible anywhere you sat. Our waitress was training a new girl and they both were great. Nice big suburban style bar, the beer brewed here is pretty okay. Food is nothing to rave about, standard American pub burger joint. Been here a few times. Generally a meeting point for friends. That being said... Service was outstanding with our server. Janet. Two out of fourd had fish fry's. Because they open at 11 am and fish fry is available at opening. Great. But the menu said potato choices were fries, baked and mashed. We both prefer baked but were told that baked is only available AFTER 3 pm!! That did not sit well with us. Also, salads USUALLY served with a roll or beget or something similar. We had to ask for that. We also noticed a faint odor when we entered. The smell went away or we got used to it. Our table was located on the East end of building and when we went to the restrooms, which were very nice but loud with the restaurant music, we noticed the odor again. Not sure what it was, possibly an odor associated with the brewing process. Ample parking in their lot. Decor is very appealing. A sign out near the driveway would have been nice because we totally missed the place...twice!! read more

Tried Delafield Brewhaus and left underwhelmed. All beers tasted oddly metallic. My burger arrived lukewarm with unmelted cheese, and the fries were limp and soggy. My wife and I met with 2 other couples on Friday for fish. As always, the beer selection was excellent; Nagawicked IPA is my favorite. I also had a very good bourbon old fashioned. I ordered the walleye fillet: it was a large portion and delicious, as was the baked potato and cole slaw. My dinner mates said that they also enjoyed their baked and fried fish orders. All had good portions. They appeared to be a bit short staffed, with our waiter delayed in getting back to us, but you could see he was rushing around and was very pleasant. The place is decorated with interesting beer collectibles and artwork. Though they were very busy, the tables are spaced so that diners don't feel cramped and they have seating on a nice outdoor patio. We were able to get reservations with a party of 6 and were seated promptly. Though they were very busy, there didn't appear to be much of a wait line for tables and we never felt rushed. We love this place for the family. The food is good, prices appropriate, and nice staff. We loved the cheese curds. Like cheesy pillows with a crispy crust. My son got the rib appetizer and loved it. My daughter the nachos and loved them. My bride loved the wings, not too spicy. My little guy had chicken strips, pretty basic. The fish fry was good, but I think WI fish fry culture has regressed since the pandemic and price increases. Portions are smaller, cost is higher and the quality didn't move. First time visiting. The building and place is pretty nice. We were seated in the dining room half. The server was friendly and mostly attentive. We ordered the nachos with beef and the others at the table enjoyed them. I couldn't eat them - beef had cinnamon - I am allergic- who puts cinnamon in beef but whatever. It happens. Every-time I order delivery from here the food is great. Every-time I try something new, I love it. I am gluten free so the gluten free pizza and bun options are great. I have tried the chicken burger (the aioli is phenomenal), sweet potato fries, pickle pizza (insanely blow your mind good), turkey and cheese hoagie, and regular plain burger.
