If that were true (it isn't), why in the hell wouldn't they call me?! The answer is that I no longer represented a profit for their company. Now I have to start over with a new company, and I haven't had a working dishwasher in over a week. Just look elsewhere. These people don't deserve your business.

He did excellent work but was "not able to complete the transition" from the range hood to the 8 inch roof vent. He said that "another team" would complete the transition between the range hood to the roof vent. A few days later, the office called me to say they needed another $150 for the transition "to complete the work". I was led to believe that this extra charge was required because the transition would be fabricated by another company, namely Ventahood. I was pressed by Tricia in the office to agreed to the "extra charge" to complete the job. Our firm understanding was that the original bid had already included this transition. We were puzzled and uncomfortable now with them. The project then headed downhill quickly. A different crew arrived a few days later unannounced , with no prior appointment, phone call or text, and said "they would finish the job". Instead of delivering for installation the promised Ventahood transition, they had fabricated their own jake leg transition . It was not a professional job. We watched as the crew leader did no work, leaving it to someone else who was unqualified. He instead was on the phone, IN OUR KITCHEN, with his office discussing other projects with customer issues. He was obviously trying to get help as to how to cover their tracks. Several days later, due to the poor design of the transition piece and a sloppy installation, the vent transition was leaking badly. We called the credit card company and suspended payment. I called and requested a followup. The next appointment was two weeks later. When this THIRD team arrived, yet AGAIN unannounced , they applied a few strips of tape to cover the leak. REALLY??? The aforementioned crew chief rang the doorbell but did not even have the guts to come in my house. It seemed he was too busy outside yet again handling more customer complaints. My wife is extremely upset as the vent does not draw any better and we have shelled out over $500. I called Nick the owner, and discussed in detail the problems. He requested photos. I sent him photos immediately and suggested two resolutions. Refund my $150 upcharge for a non existent Ventahood or deliver a professional vent transition. He called me back and left a voice message that he would NOT remedy the situation. Instead he stated that he wanted to show up at our house and remove his jake leg vent transition. Again, REALLY??? We promptly called the credit card company and again, disputed the $150 upcharge. Citibank immediately credited our account for the $150, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. These guys must have a really bad track record to get that kind of immediate response from Citibank. Proceed at your own risk. You will be not dealt with in a professional manner. It had a rattle inside of it and I'm not an electronics guy so I thought it prudent to let the professionals take a look at it and fix it. The gentleman who greeted me was very nice, warm, talkative, and quite agreeable to taking a look at my Sunpro multi tester device and attempting to fix it. He walked into the back after taking it apart did something brought it back and said it was working!!. (It was). As I started to leave it still had the rattle and when I turned around to ask the gentleman about it he said don't worry it's nothing that's gonna short out the circuit board. I remonstrated a bit and said are you sure? And he assured me everything was OK. Well I am Asperger autistic and OCD. When I got home I took it apart removing the circuit board to discover the main fuse just floating around underneath the circuit board, a metal-cladded fuse. Something that certainly and Dustin and potentially Will short out a circuit board. It was a physically oversized fuse meaning that it had been replaced at one time.... I wanted to take it back to him and just let him know that the rattle was indeed a concern that should've been looked at and I wanted to do so even if it been paying to have the job done properly with the right size (physical size that is) fuse. But I'm in my 60s and I'm a bit black-pilled with what I think on my reasonable expectations for people to do a thorough and adequate top-notch job anymore these days. /sigh

Samual said he would sand, prime, paint then spray with a clear coat for $800 plus $100 pickup/delivery and that it would take 7 days. He said he uses the best lacquer there is from Benjamin Moore. I chose Benjamin Moore's Monterrey White tinted lacquer. He was late by up to several hours each of the 4 times he was scheduled to pick up or deliver at my house. He always had an excuse and complained the drive was over an hour. Not my problem. I paid an extra $100 for pick up and delivery. Very inconsiderate of my time and the appointments he agreed to. 10/22/24 he came alone to pick up this 300+ lb 7 foot long console table. On the way out of my living room with it up on its end on a dolly, he ran it into my wall knocking into the sheetrock. Then, because he was alone, he had to scoot and drag it into his van. He didn't use any type of moving blankets or protection for the bottom of it. Saturday 11/2/24, a week later he came with a helper to return my console. IT WAS PAINTED THE WRONG COLOR! Yep, he painted it tan. Benjamin Moore's Monroe Bisque was the color he used. He 100% blamed Benjamin Moore for giving him the wrong paint color. Although that may be true when he started painting it TAN and the color was to be Monterrey WHITE he should have known there was a problem. For someone who brags about being in business for 10 years and having painted thousands of pieces of furniture this was a rookie mistake in my opinion. Samual contacted me Monday 11/4/24, just 2 days after having taken it back to repaint it, saying it was painted correctly this time and ready to be delivered that evening. I told him it was raining and asked if it would be covered and questioned if it was completely dry having just been repainted. He said yes. It was covered in the van but not bringing it inside my house in the rain. They dropped it off and left. Soon after I realized he forgot one of my shelves and called him to bring it to me. He said he was going to Houston the next day and it would be the following week before he could bring the shelf to me. The next morning, Tuesday 11/5/24 I texted him to tell him it was wobbling and not sitting level and that a foot/glide had been ripped off in this process. I also told him there was obvious fingerprints in the paint and included a picture. He agreed to fix the fingerprints and did ask about the foot and what kind it was. Thursday, 11/6/24 I texted him a picture where a picture frame I put on the console the day before was stuck in the paint and had peeled up some paint when I removed it. You could see the dark colored wood underneath. I asked him to come pick it up and take it back to his shop and properly fix this. He replied saying lacquer doesn't take days to dry and that my picture frame is the problem not his paint job. Saturday, 11/12/24 he was scheduled to return the shelf and touch up the fingerprints and look at the paint issue from the picture frame. He showed up an hour late at 9am. He argued that the paint has nothing to do with the picture frame sticking. He argued that he did sand it despite showing him many places all over where you could see indentions from the hardware we had removed, scratches and general wear and tear and the dark wood showing through the holes from the picture frame. We showed him several places with paint brush bristles stuck in the paint and he argued that he did not brush on the paint. The shelves all have streaks from a paint brush. The bottom of the doors had brown paper stuck from being painted on top of the paper which then stuck to it. He told me it was just paper and I can peel it off. Why am I fixing anything I paid him to do? When we laid it down to see the foot issue the bottom was covered in cobb webs. It had been in the same spot in my house for 17 years and only moved once since to his van. He clearly didn't wipe it down or clean it in any way before painting it. The shelves are gritty feeling most likely from dust being painted over it. It was missing 6 of the 8 feet which had been ripped off the bottom of it while in his possession. So it wobbled! He told me "they are only $1 -$2 to go get more feet". I was appalled. To top it off he didn't paint the back of the furniture! Poor craftsmanship and just as poor customer service. Don't get scammed like I did!
