This place is not only professional, but they went out of their way to provide great customer service. I got hit by a moron and my car was tore up. I had just purchased a 2017 Nissan Rogue and it was damaged by an old Honda. Not only did they fix my car in LESS time than they estimated but they made sure I had text message updates and photos of my progress. Most places use cheap after market parts but Craig's made sure I had the best parts possible. To be honest, my truck looks better now than it did before the accident. On another note, once I got the car back and drove it on the highway, I got an alert saying that my front driver side tire had low air pressure. So I went and filled the tire up. The next day it was back down in pressure so I took it back to Craig's. They looked and couldn't find anything so they were going to get me a brand new tire. Well, after even further inspection, they found a very tiny leak and fixed it and I've been on the road ever since. I would say it looks just as good as it did pre accident but I actually think it looks better if that's possible. My dad, who has worked in the automotive industry forever, went over my Jeep with a fine tooth comb and was completely impressed with the work as well. In addition to great body work, mechanically my Jeep feels great too. No alignment issues or anything. From beginning to end Craig's was wonderful to work with! Everything has been great so far. Craig's towed me from my accident scene free of charge, said they would cover rental, and even paid $40+ to Uber me to the destination I was headed towards before wrecking my car, which was very unexpected and so appreciated. If you have ever unfortunately been in a car accident, there is only one place to go in Philadelphia: Craig's Collision. I was rear-ended not too bad but this place knew exactly what I needed to get me back up and running. I was able to get my car back in a timely fashion, which was great because I had to drive a few hours the next day. When I got in my car, it looked cleaner than when I gave it to them. I had called AAA who showed up in minutes after I called only to be told by the police that they cannot tow my car and I had to go through the city. The police called Craig's collision center who took 2 hours to come. They demanded only cash payment of 215 dollars if I wanted to be towed anywhere other than his collision center. When I said I only had credit card they told me to go to an ATM. Once I got the money they took my car to where I requested and damaged my muffler when backing over a curb. I asked for a receipt which he refused to give. When I asked about repairing the muffler he said he would only do it at his shop and would not compensate me for the cost of the repair or do it later. He would also charge 25 dollars a day to "store" my car. When we got into a disagreement, he went to the truck and saying he was the owner and had a lot of money at which point he started showing us lots of cash money in his truck. At this point I realized I was dealing with a man with low self esteem. Paid him to get away from the lunatic. I would recommend to stay as far away from this business as you can. read more

Here is my experience from six years ago, my wife then girlfriend got into an accident. She was pretty banged up and had to be taken away in an ambulance. The tow guy went inside the ambulance and had my wife to sign the release form to tow the car. The car was then towed to this shop. Long story short, I decided to have my car fixed somewhere else after it was towed there. They charged me about 1000 dollars to release the car. When I questioned what the fees are. They said it was for clean up, doc fee and towing charge. I ended up paying them because I was not comfortable having my car fixed there. read more

I had my first car accident on Wednesday 8/22/18. I am not sure how this whole process goes, so I am leaving 1 out of 2 reviews. This 1st review is based on the towing and thr customer service I received, once I get my vehicle back from the collision center after being repaired, I will then post my 2nd review on how my vehicle looks and drives after the accident. The two men that showed up to tow my vehicle where very nice and caring, they asked if both parties of the accident where okay, they gave us a card with the info of where my vehicle will be. I call the next day to ask a few general questions in regards to the process, and what this company actuality does in a case of an accident and the repair process, they answered all my questions and concerns I had. My main concern was if their were any damages under the hood due to the accident, if the shop would repairs them. I was told they DO, which gave me comfort. Since my brother knows how to repair vehicle, he also knows how some of the collision centers like to scam the ins company by fixing only the noticeable parts, but not all the other items that need repair. So of course I had to call and ask if everything would be repaired, and no issues would appear after the repairs are completed. And I was TOLD NO, THAT EVERYTHING WOULD BE AS GOOD AS NEW. So as of now, I can only leave a review based on my towing exprencse and the customer service department. They where great and very helpful. My car was hit by another car in my parking lot. The tow guy from Craig's (the one with the ponytail) left his card came back in the morning missing breakfast with his mother and towed my car to the shop. I was very frustrated especially with the everything with my car, having to pay for a rental and just everyday life. I was hit head on in Jan 2016 and my car was undrivable I had never been in an accident before and I didn't know what to expect. A slew of tow trucks showed up, it was very confusing and I of course was shaken up. I ultimately chose Craig's because the gentleman was very courteous and helpful, but I was nervous because I always research a facility before I hire them and I had never heard of Craig's. Yesterday morning I got into a car accident. My first actual accident. I've been calling him "tow guy" because I am the absolute worst at names, you can tell me a million times and I'll forget. Well, 'tow guy', was amazing. He was kind and did everything he could to help me stay calm. I'm not sure if he even knew that I was freaking out or not but still. I really had to pee (damn coffee) and he offered to drive me somewhere. I ended up just deciding to walk to the McDonalds but he watches my stuff so I didn't have to lug it along with me. It took the cops more than an hour to show up, we talked for a bit, he answered my questions and all that mess. Cops finally arrived, he did what he needed to do with my poor car. During this whole mess I was having a hard time getting ahold of my boyfriend. My way home. I eventually got ahold of my boyfriend but we live about a half an hour away soooo, yeah. After everyone else left the scene my boyfriend still hadn't arrived to come pick me up. 'Tow guy' not only offered to stay with me, he stayed even though I told him it was fine and I don't mind waiting alone. Well he and a few other guys waited with me. When my boyfriend arrived and we were leaving he told my boyfriend to make sure I went to the hospital to get checked out. 'Tow guy', whatever your name is, thank you. You made a stressful morning easier and threw a few laughs in there. Also, I did end up being dragged to the hospital. I got in an accident a few weeks ago and the car was totally not drive-able anymore, so I needed a lot of work done on the front end of my car including the wheels. I was referred to them by a friend and called Craig's as soon as it happened and a tow truck was literally there in 5-10 minutes. They had great customer service throughout the week and a half they were fixing my car, quickly answering any questions I had. Unfortunately I was involved in a wreck about a month ago with a septa bus while visiting friends in south Philadelphia. The bus took out the entire side of my brand new Ford Explorer that I bought in June. At that point my first thought was to take it to the dealer. Upon recommendation from a friend that was in a wrecker earlier in the summer I called Dan at Craig's to come get it. While loading the car Dan explained to me the entire claims process and I was sold on using his family's shop. I rode shotgun with him to the shop in probably the cleanest truck I've ever seen. The shop is in the northeast so it was closer to me anyway. When I arrived I was greeted by Ashely, Elizabeth, and Jerry. I was very impressed by how the shop is entirely family ran, very rare these days. Setting up the claim was a breeze with Ashely and Elizabeth guiding me. They called enterprise to take me to the local office and I was on my way, great! It's been a month now and I just picked up my car and it looks amazing! I requested to see my old parts (doors and fenders), Jerry was happy to show me what was replaced and receipts for factory parts. I've never had such and honest experience dealing with a mechanic or anything car related. After being explained how the repair process went I can understand how it took a month. The Craigs crew are true craftsmen and I can't thank them enough! No way would I have gotten that kind of service at a dealer! I have not even been to this location ever i. My life and have had the worst experience for the last week with these ignorant ass people. Thurs 10/22 I got into a head on collision and the police towed my car here- with my knowledge but when I went to have a Towe truck sent there the following afternoon-(Friday)- I spoke to an older woman who said that the adjuster hasn't come out yet and that she won't be out until wed/thurs this week- I said thats late and I will have my car sent elsewhere- Called my insurance, called Caliber Collision on Kensington Ave- spoke to Linda there- super helpful and understanding to my situation with Craig's Collision. So with the constant back and forth they denied releasing my car to the towe company sent to pick up my car- this happened TWICE (2 seperate days)- so they are charging my insurance company up for storage fees through the weekend. Lets see what today's excuse is going to be because its day 6 and my car is still sitting at their shop. I still have YET to have my car adjuster quote for repairs and no services has been started because they want the business and I am denying it. BTW I am a single black female - this is NOT my 1st rodeo with these incompetent collision companies who are in the business of trying to get the insurance co. For their $$- not on my watch and not with my possession. They do not answer when the insurance company calls- they let it ring off the hook but as soon as I followed up with a call- miraculously someone answered! Yeah- so I had my adjuster follow up- mind you it was a lot of back and forth on the phone with them- Geico- the Towe Truck Co.- this is information that should have been given when my car was dropped off to them Thursday Morning!!!! These were their rules -no pick up after 3pm any day of the week-they close early on Fridays (4:30p) you have to let them know an hour in advance when and if you desire towe services and moving car from one place to another. I had to call them myself and confirm my car was there. Why?! None of these "Rules" was stated during that phone call- they are into scamming the insurance company. Tried to woo me with not paying a deductible and all that! These people are disrespectful, they will hang up on you at any point during a phone call and they will continue to add on fees so you are unable to get your car released and withhold information from you. This is the very necessary information that should be given in the beginning in the first place. They don't care for people's situation they only want the money! I'm tired of being taken advantage of by these businesses. Fuck you and yours and I mean that with all sincerity. They hustled us to take our car there following an accident. Then they kept the car longer than originally promised and it had to go back twice for things that were not completed. We have replaced some parts since then that shouldn't have had to be replaced. Now the car has developed major problems and they do not want to compensate for parts which they were paid to replace but didn't. Their solution - bring the car back and we will make it right. Little unhappy with Craig's. Everything was smooth sailing in the beginning. They were helpful when my car was towed, they hand delivered the police report from my accident, they were helpful with my deductible! Everything seemed perfect. So when a tree fell on my dad's car, it was a no brainer-- he would take his car to Craig's too! I get a call that the car is done so I make plans with my dad to go pick it up. I leave early from work since they told me over the phone that they are open until 5:30. We raced over there and got there at 5:20pm. One of the workers tells me "whoops! The office is closed. They're open until 5:30. So they left 5minutes ago." By that statement, that means they left at 5:15pm. Unfortunately, it's the little things that mean the most to us. Because the office staff decided to leave early, my dad won't be taking his truck here to get fixed. They just lost out on at least $10,000 worth of business. Other than that, the car looks great. They get 3 stars because they were easy to deal with and very helpful and the car looks good. And I did get my car after we expressed our frustrations, the employee we met at the shop finally made a few phone calls, looking for the staff that left early. It's the little things! read more

These guys showed up minutes after my accident, (must have heard about it on a scanner, I didn't call them) were nice enough but I wasn't comfortable with their sales pitch in trying to get me to hire them for the repair especially due to the sketchy business practices they described that would hide the accident from Carfax and the dealer. They told me my warranty would be void if I used the dealer for repairs which turned out to be untrue, in fact the opposite was the truth. I had no option but to have them tow me from the scene but when I arranged to have the vehicle picked up the next morning the bill to tow my damaged vehicle a dozen blocks was almost $1000. Probably retaliation for not having them do the repair work. If they were the last shop within a hundred miles, I wouldn't use them to paint a flower pot after this! read more

Very unhappy with the attitude of the manager who first declared the car a total loss and then was unhappy when you wanted car back. The car was towed there and they probably picked up accident on a police scanner. The accident occurred within minutes of their shop for which they wanted 175 towing charge and said it was a fee dictated by the city which could not be reduced. The accident occurred on Saturday night at about 9pm and first thing Monday morning we arrived to pick up car. Even though the place was closed on Sunday, the manager insisted he wanted 3 days storage at 45 dollars a day. When the charges were contested he insisted his organization was not one you could bargain with comparing it to walking into Walmart and asking clerk to lower the price and said the conversation in office was being recorded and that he was being threatened and that he probably would have given a discount if it were not for my attitude. read more

On January 2nd I was involved in a major collision when a tractor trailer rear ended my 2013 Ford F-150. Luckily neither myself nor the truck driver were injured. A driver from Craig's happened to be pumping gas at the Wawa at the intersection of Tyson and the Blvd where the accident occurred. He immediately came over and offered first aid and phoned the authorities. After the police came I phoned my insurance company (Erie) and mentioned Craig's. The person handling my claim said Erie does not have a contract with Craig's but they are on their list of reputable independent shops in the area. After that recommendation and the gentleman from Craig's kind and courteous service I went with them. Wow I just picked up my truck today and boy did they go beyond the call of duty for me. After the accident they arranged a rental truck for me and handled everything from there. I received updates every 3-5 days on the status of my truck. The job was not small the total damage came out to $13,567. 27 days later they were actually ahead of schedule by 2 days! The repairs were flawless so far but I will update. Jerry the owner even stayed an hour late for me to pick up my truck at 6:30 (they close at 5:30). I would like to thank Jerry, Ashley, Lucille, the tow guy who's name I can't recall, and the rest of the team at Craig's for doing everything possible to make the process as easy as possible, you are true craftsmen! Seeing a few negative reviews seemed worrisome but as a small business owner myself I know no one is perfect and I truly believe that if I had a problem Jerry would make sure it would be corrected. read more

BEWARE!!!!! I brought my car in for repair for a broken window and a small dent about the door frame. I got a call days later for the receptionist asking for permission to repair. I asked her what were the repairs. She listed a few things I didn't recall. I asked her for the amount of the repairs. she gave an estimate for THOUSANDS of dollars and a month to repair. I was so shocked at the price and the time frame I told her I didn't bring Thousands of dollars worth of damage to that shop and it shouldn't take that long for repairs. She transferred me to the owner. When I explained my compliant to him. The first thing he said was "whats the problem??....you're insurance isn't paying for the rental??" I again explained my concerns were the costs reported and the time frame. His responded by saying he would try to have the job done in 2 weeks. Again I stated that was too long and I told him not to repair my car until I spoke with my husband. The next day I called to get pictures of my car and was sent pictures of the car in the repair process. I WAS FURIOUS. I left a couple of messages for the owner asking him the status of the car and reminded him that I did not authorize repairs. He never called me back. I called my insurance company and had them send me pics of the car they took in order to get the estimate. The pictures showed damage to my car that were not there when I dropped it off. I am very dissatisfied with my experience at craigs collision. I was in a accident and the tow truck that came to the accident seemed like they operated good business however I see that is incorrect. The establishment is open 9-5:30, when it came time to pick up my car I explained that I would not make those hours due to work and asked if someone could stay longer or come in Saturday to get my car. They were not trying to accommodate me. I had to make other arrangements. Once I received the car they replaced it with a used tire that had a leak in it. So I had to make arrangements again to take the car back, and now I am experiencing a loud noise when I drive as if something is dragging under the car. I am extremely pissed. The shop is far from my job/home and I have to go out my way to take it back. I was also told that additional work would be done to my car. However when I picked it up it was not. I contacted the guy who towed my car and he has been giving me the run around for about 2-3 weeks now. At this point I'm very frustrated. I could have taken my car to any shop in the city.
