I have been getting Accupuncture on and off, for severe allergies as well as body injuries since, 2009. I've worked with a number of Acupuncturists over the years but none of them compare to Jun. she has focused on one issue at a time and I am seeing long term results. I have been seeing her on and off for over a year now. I used to have a constant stuffy nose and had headaches regularly. Now I am breathing clearly and haven't had headaches for a few months. One time I pulled a muscle in my neck/spine area really bad and it hurt no matter how I laid on it. I work in Jun's building. Today I had a terrible headache and I figured I'd try anything to get some relief. I've never given Eastern healing much thought, but Jun seems very genuine and kind so I thought, "what the heck, let me see if she can help me." I asked Jun to help me and she agreed. I was a little skeptical about acupuncture but my friend suggested I give it a try for some knee pain I've been experiencing. She sees Jun regularly and said I was in good hands. I trusted her and made an appointment. I can see why my friend spoke so highly of Jun, she was incredibly amiable, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I told her about what I was experiencing and actually felt guilty for having felt what I was feeling for so long without taking any action previously. She was completely understanding, sympathetic, and made me feel very comfortable. She asked me questions about the pain and also my daily activities to get a better feel for who I am. When it came down to the actual treatment, I confessed to her it was my first time and I was very nervous. She went out of her way to make me feel at ease and assured me I was in good hands. And I was! It ended up being a very great experience. Jun answered all my questions about acupuncture and even suggested some things I can do at home to help enhance recovery. My experience with Jun was wonderful. It was my first time ever receiving acupuncture. I was not skeptical nor was I very optimistic, but I found myself in somewhat of an emotional crisis. I wanted to try and see if this type of intervention might make me feel and function better. Jun was very kind, considerate, and thorough - which I appreciated the most. Although I was not coming to her for physical ailments, she made a point to address any chronic issues that she may be able to help me with in the future, and gave good advice for supplemental remedies. Jun was gentle and attentive, knowing that this was my first acupuncture treatment. She made a point to keep the process as painless as possible. Which was the case almost entirely! I left feeling relaxed, and emotionally calm. It was not until the next day that I really saw a difference in my mood. I did not feel depressed, sluggish, or like I could not complete my tasks, but rather I was ready to take on the day and enjoyed little things that I was not the previous weeks. What I experienced was not a huge surge of confidence, happiness, and excitement, but I was content, relaxed, and emotionally stable. I would definitely return to Jun to seek out advice and treatment as I have also seen a difference through my use of supplements. Have had acupuncture many times over the years as I am huge believer in the power of Eastern medicine. Jungsoo Kim is by far my very favorite acupuncturist. She's extremely knowledgeable and exudes confidence which makes me feel comfortable and in good hands. She's also very gentle. Her studio is clean (super important to me), quiet and calming. She is currently helping me with fertility, after a few sessions, a lot of the symptoms I've complained about have gone down or completely gone away! I first went to see Jun @ the recommendation of my daughter b/c my left leg was tight & there was an uncomfortable "feeling". After the 1st treatment, I felt significantly better. As the days passed, Jun would check up on me, asking me how I was feeling. I told her I felt better, but the discomfort in my leg seemed to move around. On my next visit, she continued treatment on my leg. & since she provided so much relief on my leg last visit, I also told her about my back pain. After several treatments, the "feeling" in my leg is gone, and so is my back pain. In between sessions, Jun continued follow-up care by giving me herbs, teaching me exercises and movements to prevent potential future injuries.
