I went to Bozard Ford service lane & they directed me to Quick Lane for my oil change. I was a little reluctant but found out that they are owned by Ford so I went ahead & brought it in. My service advisor Sonya recommended Ford's Garage restaurant for Lunch & I was able to walk the short distance there. By the time I finished my lunch, I received a call that my truck was ready. When I spoke on the phone with a representative who gave the name "Trevor," he said the reprogramming might not even be needed, but they wouldn't know until after doing the work. To me, this interaction felt untrustworthy. He also used jargon unnecessarily to make it sound more complicated than it is, something any reputable mechanic shop should avoid. The labor to replace the sensor is typically 5-10 minutes, and the part can be purchased OEM (Nissan factory) for ~$230-$250. My advice: get a second opinion or buy the part yourself to save hundreds of dollars.
