I recently had to bring my Tesla Model Y in twice for 2 accidents only a few weeks apart. This is the only Tesla Certified shop in my area. Accident #1 Feb 2025 - Rear passenger side door deep gash and a dent on a front passage door body line. I worked with Michael. This needed a whole repaint of that door panel and the rear quarter panel. There was also a small dent in the body line that they removed by PDR for $300 (damage was separate from the accident). The whole estimate process was very quick about 15 mins when I brought my car to the shop. It took another 1-2 days for insurance to approve the estimate. Estimated repair time was 2 weeks. Repairs were done in 13 days! Accident #2 March 2025 - Rear ended, dented trunk, and scratched up bumper. I worked with Nick. Needed a trunk replacement and rear lower bumper repainted. Insurance approved the estimate same day. Quoted repair time was 2-4 weeks depending on parts availability. Repairs were done in 7 days in the end. The GOOD - Quality of BOTH paint jobs are very professional. I cannot visually distinguish where they blended the paint. - The paintless dent repair job was great. Again, I couldn't even tell there was damage there originally. - General clean and wash was done after the repairs - Good actual turnaround times vs estimated time. - I was updated on the status of my repair 1-2 times weekly. Their intake form asks you how often you want to be updated, so fill that out accordingly. Where they could IMPROVE - More attention to detail is needed when cleaning. There were still various dirty shoe and grease marks around the car like in the outer driver side footwell, door sills, trunk, and on the light grey headliner. When the rest of the car is clean, these things stand out more. Keeping in mind they aren't a detail shop, I wasn't expecting it to be spotless, but these were just some minor gripes I had. OVERALL I'd feel confident bringing my car in again. In the past reviews, I see a lot of mentions of delayed turnaround times likely due to parts shortages during COVID. Given that Teslas are so abundant nowadays, I don't see it being a major issue anymore. I am shocked at how poorly I have been treated by the team at Crash Champions. The customer service has been awful from the day I dropped my vehicle off. The real surprise was when I opened the back of my car to find dirty dog prints after it had been in the shop for a bumper repair. Almost as if an employee had taken my car and their pet for a joy ride. I had hoped when I called the office would at least offer to clean my car but instead demanded that I Google a car wash. When I asked how they would resolve it the person on the phone yelled at me and told me it was my fault and that my demands were ridiculous. From a policy that voids the warranty of work if I sell the car to my vehicle being covered in bird droppings when I picked it up, I have been incredibly disappointed. And they don't return phone calls or act with any concern over the experience at all. The manager encouraged me to write a bad review saying they gave me my car back covered in bird droppings. They could have so easily solved this by saying the car wash on this road is safe to take your car through and we are so sorry about the paw prints. We will make sure to address with our team. This is clearly a shop that profits heavily from their insurance related repairs and who feel they do not need to care for their customers or their vehicles. read more

NEVER take your Tesla to them! I took my Tesla in with a scrape under the passenger doors. The initial estimate was under $3846 - seemed expensive but understandable because of Tesla's design. When they started to work in it they found a dent in the bracket that holds the battery, said the battery would need replacing, and that the car was "totaled". I argued that it was not damage to the battery, but Chase from Crash Champions said that it was according to Tesla's guidelines and would not check with Tesla. I went to the Tesla dealer and talked to the service manager. He looked up the Tesla documentation and agreed with me - the battery did not warrant replacement. After the documentation was supplied to Crash Champions they were forced to reconsider. I had never received a detailed estimate, even though I had requested several times, but I finally got one! What a SHOCK - the repair estimate was still over the value of the car. The estimate had many things I questioned including two new passenger wheels and tires - I NEVER HIT ANYTHING! In my experience, Crash Champions, and Chase Perry, have shown themselves to be unqualified to repair Teslas and unethical in their business practices. State Farm Insurance has also proved themselves to have absolutely no concern for customers and has backed Crash Champions from day one. NEVER TAKE YOUR TESLA TO CRASH CHAMPIONS! I was a bit hesitant booking in our Tesla for body work, after an aggressive driver caused quite a bit of damage to our Model 3 in an accident. My hesitation came mostly from two things: 1. It was going to be a 1.5 month longer wait going with CC than going ahead with my first choice, which insurance had rejected due to first choice quoted hourly rate being high. 2: They didn't have a designate garage where they took in my car to do the inspection. The inspection was done in the parking lot. My worries were for naught. Our car was done in only eight days, which is basically unheard of in the industry for Teslas! So quick. The work was done beautifully, with a gorgeous wash and wax. The interior was well clean as well. I want to highlight how wonderful the customer service is. The front desk gal for the Tesla side of the business is an absolute joy, and a beautiful soul. She is so kind, warm, engaged and great at her job. I've seen quite a lot of reviews about poor communication. Over the eight days our car was in, I received three updates on the progress of the work being done. My 2025 Tesla Y was hit in the tailgate and got 3 dents in the body lining of the tailgate. I called Tesla dealership in Tigard and they recommended Crash Campions Collision Repair in Tigard who are certified by Tesla. GEICO insurance recommended 3-4 auto body shops as well. Buy, they were not certified by Tesla. GEICO agent honored my choice and Crash Champions staff, in particular Nick fixed it in 2-3 days. I picked up my car like new, cleaned and washed as well. BEWARE: go somewhere else. The company unfortunately is untrustworthy and lied to me for weeks. I was passed off, lied to told dates that were changed 5 times. In addition, the last straw was when I showed up after the manager said the car was ready and it was supposedly in wash area and it was going to be 2 hours till I got it. Zero regard for a working professional's time. I had to take the car dirty because I was so tired of the lies and disregard. I've worked with you guys in the past and had a much better experience. However, the general manager at this location was incredibly disrespectful, speaking to me as if I were a child. Yes, I expressed frustration by saying the situation was fucked up, but I never yelled or personally disrespected anyone. Now, regarding my issue: when I dropped off my car, I knew my front two tires needed to be changed. However, I had replaced my back tires in December, and when I picked up my car, the right rear tire had a puncture--a fresh hole, not from wear and tear. I took it to a tire shop immediately, and they confirmed it was a new puncture likely caused by a nail. I'm extremely unhappy and will never recommend this place again. If I could I would give this a minus star rating. Absolutely stunned by the manager's lack of professionalism at the Hunziker location. I was in an accident a few days ago resulting in rear-end damage to my 2022 Tesla Model Y. Our insurance adjuster reviewed a list of Tesla Certified repair shops near us providing me with a phone number to schedule an appointment with Crash Champions-Tigard for an estimate. I called the number provided and was promptly scheduled for 1pm just two days after the accident. When my husband & I checked in with their receptionist providing our name and appointed time she verified this in her computer. She walked back to the manager's office, returning to say they were 2 months out. Thinking she may have misspoken, we reiterated we were there for an estimate not repair. At this point, the manager came out very aggressively stating they were 2 months out (basically what didn't you understand)? My husband tried to interject asking why he was being so aggressive. He became even more agitated when we tried to explain we live 40 minutes away and why hadn't someone communicated with us. The manager blamed the call center and yet our vehicle information was in their system. We had been there less than 10 minutes when he said, "maybe you should take your vehicle elsewhere." No problem, we will! AND others should too! Further we visited the Tesla facility not too far from Crash Champions for assistance. I recently was recently hit in a parking lot by someone uninsured leaving me to have the repairs completed with my insurance coverage. The repairs were minor. Other than scheduling for the estimate, we didn't have any issue with the repair. For the estimate, we scheduled online only to have Crash Champions call and say they were already booked at that time. No problem. They gave us 2 time options for rebook, 9:30 and 10:30 the following day. We scheduled for 9:30, but 10:30 is the confirmation that came through and ultimately the appointment they made for us (we even called to confirm after receiving it through the confirmation and reminder.) As for the repair, the only item is it ended up rolling one day later than expected. Overall, not a big deal. Crash Champions communicated with us on what should have been the final day that it would be cutting it close and possibly rolling over to the next. There was communication. We were satisfied. It was ready in the first hour of the following day. read more

Our Tesla has been in this shop for body work and the tech that was assigned to our case had been really good about sending us updates on a regular basis. As soon as he left on vacation the updates stopped I called two days before our pickup date and was told that i would receive a call on the 7th. The call never came our pickup date was scheduled for today, November 8, 2024. We live in Central Oregon so getting to Tigard takes some planning. We canceled all appointments for today so that we could pick up the car . I called this morning and was told that it might be ready by the end of the day so now they have put it off until Monday when a storm s scheduled for the mountain passes and our winter tires are here in Central Oregon. Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore. This used to be Artistic Auto Body until April of 2022. What's in a name? Apparently EVERYTHING! Artistic was great with speedy estimates, great communication and quality work. Location ISN'T everything. Now I can only comment on the former as I went there for an estimate only to see a sign that reads, "Estimates by appointment only." Undeterred, I walked in because the parking lot was empty. There was nobody waiting for anything. When I inquired, the woman said we are booked out until mid-November for estimates and just didn't seem to care. I've been a loyal customer at Artistic for years and if you have been as well, don't even bother. Zero customer service or care if you come back. Used to be a great quality body repair shop. Under new/current management I wouldn't feel safe having my vehicle repaired at this facility. Manager doesn't know enough about repairing vehicles to even run the shop properly. Hopefully you guys don't get sued over the next couple years for hacked out repaired. Received poor communication and several last minute delays. Repair start kept getting pushed back because the parts were already damaged when they were delivered. They never told me where they were ordering parts pre-damaged. Repair costs and time more than doubled from estimate. Was told the car just needed a final check and then return kept getting delayed and charges kept getting added on. A week later I drove by and a window was still off. Was told they needed two clips to complete repairs and there was no urgency in getting them. My "advisor" Michael skipped town the day I was finally supposed to get my car back and didn't apparently tell anyone; I had to call in and get assigned someone else. Finally got the car back and there was a persistent smell and I was told to keep it out of the heat during a heatwave. Two mystery screws left in the console. I guess I'll find out if they're important if something falls off. Now I need rely that the repairs were done right after they used up all of my trust. Very unhappy. Feel foolish that I gave them any of my business. Would never trust them with a car again. Based on this experience, I may never take my car to an auto body shop again. A deer ran in front of me while driving a Tesla causing some front fender and lamp damage, so I called Crash Champions. I am not sure why only the 5 star reviews pop up when a business has a 2.5 star average?? This place doesn't deserve a 2.5 star rating, oh it's much worse! The customer service is horrible. The receptionists know very little, they always have to refer to someone else to find out anything. They never call back to update customers on the status of their repair. Rodney Cottis, a service advisor, doesn't even respond to emails. I had to wait three months just to get the car in for estimate for a front end repair on the Tesla. Finally in February they looked at the car, and said they would send me an email as soon as the estimate was completed. After two weeks of patiently waiting I finally called them to ask if they had a cost on the repair. They tell me they didn't have an insurance company assignment number, I told them they have had that number for three months!! Eventually they found the number and told me now they could now finish putting an estimate together. After another two weeks of waiting I had to call them back again to see if they finally had an estimate. The "professional" receptionist said she had to contact the "little Tesla lady", and she will get back to me!! Unbelievable is all I have to say. I have been working on getting my car repaired for four months now and still do not have a appointment for repairing the vehicle! They initially said it takes about 4-5 months after the estimate is given that they can get the car in for repair! The only reason this place is in business is because there are very few "certified" Tesla collision repair shops in the whole state of Oregon. If you want to get your Tesla fixed and don't mind waiting for a full year to get the car repaired this is the place for you, for everyone else....avoid this place like the plague!! read more

This auto shop gives no communication. I understand that there is a production shortage in auto parts due to Covid, but my car was with them for over five months. They only work with 1 to 2 parts distributors. I had to contact them for any update. They should be giving at least monthly updates to their customers, but no, nothing. Any communication I received from them was a reply to my inquiries. I ended up finding and purchasing the part I needed on my own, and having it shipped to their shop. Then it was a week of asking when the car would be done, with a different answer every day. Tomorrow... Tomorrow. When I finally picked up my car, I saw they had charged my insurance for the part that I paid for, and more than I paid. read more

No communication from the body shop and very poor customer service. Entire experience was horrible. My car was held at the shop for over a month and I ended up retrieving it unrepaired as the damage was determined a total loss. When I arrive to retrieve my car, there was additional molding that they had removed and never bothered to replace. They are purposefully holding up the repair process to charge additional storage fees. I only used this shop because I had a really good experience with Artistic Auto Body, the previous repair company at this location. It's night and day what service you get.
