    Trendy sideboard!

I love this store! They offer stylish, yet affordable home decor and furnishings. Since purchasing a house, I've found that many things I order online aren't as they appear. C&B employees are extremely accommodating, and I appreciate their customer service policy. I've purchased a number of pieces here...some worked, some didn't. However, no issues with any return to date. Tip: the furniture display is located on the 2nd floor. Thanks for helping me decorate my new pad, C&B! Edit: I will admit that C&B may have a higher price point than some are comfortable with. I'm a firm believer in that you get what you pay for. I have several C&B kitchen utensils, towels and decorative items that I've had for years which have held up to frequent use. So if that's the type of product I'm looking for, I am more inclined to purchase at a store like this. FWIW!

I love Crate & Barrel because their stuff is so cute and I always can find something that I think would look amazing in my home or in my yard. I have been liking the idea of adding some yellow as an accent color and looking for a good yellow chair. They had some really cute yellow items and a few items that weren't yellow but I could see changing the color myself or hiring someone to make the item yellow. While looking thru everything, I think I planned my dining area, kitchen and living room in my head. Everything is just so nice looking, but I can't help but feel some of the items aren't exactly worth the money. They had a set of like 2 spatulas for $30, which just seemed like too much. The staff was friendly and were helpful throughout my visit. I can see myself buying things here and there from Crate & Barrel. I have definitely gotten inspired from walking through here.

They are sure friendly and helpful at Crate and Barrel. We registered for my daughter's wedding last week. No less than five clerks offered to help us. You register on-line and then you can select online or come into the store. They also host special bride events if you can get on their schedule. The selection is filled with trendy home essentials from kitchenware to furniture. They carry some national high quality brands like All-clad and Kitchen Aide to many store brands. Prices range from reasonable for open stock glassware to expensive. I'm not sure who pays $10 for a rubber scrapping utensil with bunnies on it. They do run sales and clearance out seasonal items where you can find great deals. The displays are creative in the store to give you ideas on housewares that work well together. Lots of interesting modern colors and designs for table settings and more. For gifts, they will nicely box and secure the box with a lovely ribbon. Shipping if free for purchases over $99. They do a nice job and receiving a gift from Crate and Barrel is always a treat. They gave my daughter a small gift bag for registering that contained some nice tumblers and coupons for wedding services. That was a nice touch. This is a perfect place for a bride to select special items to last a lifetime. Thank you, Crate and Barrel for a great experience!

What I like about Crate & Barrel is that they have items for your kitchen AND your living space. With so many open kitchens, sometimes it's better to be able to match colors, patterns, styles from room to room, so when I pick up something that may sit out on the counter or be visible, it's nice to know how it will look. But even if you aren't coordinating, the staff was quite friendly and wanted to point out that they've added a kids section and a design section to the store. Most of the downstairs seemed to concentrate on the kitchen items while the upstairs was for the living spaces. I like when a shop arranges their furniture in groupings with accessories...it's great for ideas and possibilities I hadn't thought of. The store has a lot of space and was uncluttered making for easy browsing. That also allows them to have a large variety in store that you just don't see at some of the smaller boutiques. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to the store and dealing with the employees. Review #2189

I recently went to this store to find a wedding present for my friend. This was the first time I have ever been here and I was super impressed. My mother and I were browsing the wedding registry when we were approached by one of the workers. She spent about 30 minutes with us looking through the registry and giving us good ideas on pairings to make cute gift sets. The store was huge so it wasn't that crowded and we could easily browse through everything. They also boxed everything for us. It was a little pricy but I will defiantly be going back !

I generally venture into C&B for something I assume might be a little different: the occasional odd food photography prop. It's not unlike me to buy one plate or two spoons and receive suspicious glances during checkout. Catering to a contemporary clientele, the kitchenware at C&B is attractive and appropriately priced for my needs. In addition to dinnerware, you'll find appliances along the west wall. Upstairs is a fully-stocked furniture showroom that's equally as fun to browse. While I can't personally speak to the quality of their pieces, I've recently been eyeing a desk. C&B is definitely on my "must" list of stores to visit when I find myself at The Fashion Mall.

    This is my choice!

Recently redecorated my living room, and went C&B and was not disappointed with the one-on-one design support I received from Dina.

Foundry 317 is along the canal right on Westfield Boulevard. Foundry 317 focuses on home decor and furniture. I clearly arrived right at the tail-end of the holiday season and a good number of the items either had a holiday theme or fit within the holiday season. Items included antiques, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, festive accents, candles, and other overall housing items. Foundry 317 has a parking lot, though I was actually wheeling there. There's a small ramp up to the sidewalk if you approach it from the right (facing Foundry 317). The doorway is pretty workable and I found the interior to be surprisingly accessible (though I will admit I was taking extra caution given some of the prices!). As I was wheeling, I knew it was pretty unlikely I'd actually buy anything on this visit as it would have been difficult to carry back to my car. However, I definitely saw some items I loved and can easily see myself returning in the near future. The employee I encountered was friendly, the environment was warm and inviting, and I really loved some of the smaller items. I'm a candle freak and definitely would like to return for those. I've always found this section of Westfield Blvd. a little hit-and-miss. The sidewalk is kind of cracked and it's somewhat uneven, however, there's much to love here and I loved the efforts toward accessibility. This is definitely a little gem. I'd seen it before, however, I've never been by when they were open. I finally got the chance to visit, and I'm definitely impressed. I'll be back.

Inside the shop, you will find nice quality items like furniture, paintings, and some knick knacks. During the winter months, the business is making the most of some available space at the corner of Westfield and Guilford. In that annex, there are lamps, clothing, and more small items that might work in a collection or as a gift. The only negative is that the supply is rather small compared with other antique shops. I'm not sure how quickly the inventory turns over, so you'll just have stop by to see whether they have what you're looking for. Review #2279
