Says Crater Lake Resort right there. We googled Crater Lake Resort and it took us to the Crater Lake Resort on Crater Lake which was CLOSED
    Suzi B.

BEWARE DO NOT STAY DO NOT EVEN BOOK HERE!!! This is the worst place ever. They say they are Crater Lake Lodge which is supposedly a different location than Crater Lake Resort, but look above people! It says Crater Lake RESORT! We used the address they gave us and it went nowhere. Then we used the Crater Lake RESORT on the map according to the NAME ON THE RESERVATION and it took us to Crater Lake Lodge / Resort on the lake itself. Now, THAT hotel was CLOSED FOR THE SEASON!! We had even CALLED them to verify the address since what they gave us didn't even take us to a real area, we knew we were going to get there around 1 AM when there might not be anyone there, and the OR 62n 50711 was a JOKE but do you know what the lady said?? She said, "Oh you are coming from San Luis Obispo? You should give my daughter a ride up here!" I had no idea how to respond to that, and this lady did not help, nor did any emails we sent get us any better directions. We went on the best info we had and.. you guessed it! We wound up SLEEPING IN OUR JEEP IN THE FREEZING COLD WEATHER. We got NO sleep and therefore wound up having to spend an EXTRA WHOLE DAY in BEND just to RECOVER, which too a day out of our plans, as well as extra expense. When I called them first thing in the am I got the following nasty response, so help, no offer to give us another night another time, NOTHING. So now we have to dispute this on our credit card. I won't be using Booking.com OR ever staying in their crappy hotel. I heard from someone else they have these gross mice in the cabins and you can't sleep because of the smell. Here is their response. Crater Lake RESORT is where we looked up on google to find an actual address, that took us to Crater Lake Resort on the lake. If they knew there was another Crater Lake... whatever hotel, why didn't they TELL us that ON THE PHONE instead of asking me give their daughter a ride?? Ridiculous. BEWARE DO NOT STAY DO NOT EVEN BOOK HERE!!! You just got a new message from Crater Lake Resort Property's message: We are not affiliated with Crater Lake National Park, or Crater Lake Lodge, therefore, we did not give you an address for anywhere in the park. We are located at 50711 Hwy 62, Fort Klamath, OR, which is the address listed for us (Crater Lake RESORT) on Booking.com. I assume that Booking would have also sent you an email with our address, but I do not know their procedures. I am not sure how, or where, you got the address to the Crater Lake Lodge, but we certainly did not give you that address. We are in no way responsible for you obtaining the wrong address and going to the wrong place. Since you did not show up on your reservation date, you were marked as a no-show, and according to Booking.com's no-show policy, we cannot give you a refund.

We had a fabulous stay at Crater Lake Resort. Awesome secluded place. We stayed in one of their cabins. Very spacious and clean. Feels very homey. Having a small kitchen was a plus. We brought some food to cook. But they have a little grocery on the premises. We didn't have time to rent the canoe but it's available. The grounds of the resort is very quiet and lots of things to do. We just relaxed outside and did a little hike. Next time we'll just tent camping.

We spent the night at Crater Lake Resort after a productive day at the beautiful Crater Lake National Park. Next time, I will spend at least 2 nights here to tackle the steep hike from the rim to the the lake. The resort itself was clean and well maintained. This is one of the few places where you can spend the night without driving all the way down to Klamath Falls. Parking was plenty. There was a cute stream that ran through the property and you can take advantage of the complementary cannon rental. The cabin kitchen was small, but had everything needed for cooking. Bonus point for the adorable resident kittens. The tortie was outgoing enough for me to cuddle and pet her. The only change I would make for the property is more food choices at the grocery store.

I originally found this place by searching for places to stay within the Crater Lake park. It's actually about half an hour from the park, but it looked much nicer than anything actually in the park so we gave it a shot. The creek and free canoe use were really fun. You can actually paddle a good distance up and down from the launch point. We stayed in one of the smaller cabins, which stayed comfortable even in the 100 degree heat. We paid the $14 Wi-Fi upgrade fee and had no problem streaming movies. My favorite part of staying here was the cats. Ghost walked up to our cabin door while we were unpacking and any time we were sitting outside she would jump up and demand pets. I think she was the most aggressively affectionate cat I've ever met. The only real downside was food. The store has some frozen pizzas and other stuff like that, but the cabin only had a really tiny microwave. The only restaurant option in the area after about 8pm was the casino in Chiloquin. One day we ate at a restaurant within the Crater Lake park. Another day we had a flat tire and had to drive back to Klamath Falls to get it patched and ate there. So overall you'll probably want to plan to eat elsewhere before heading back in the evening.

A row of cabins. Very well maintained, clean, and dog friendly.

Very nice property. We love this area even in the winter. Plenty to do here even in the snow. The roads are well maintained so bring the snow gear and embrace the chill! Rolled in from California on a Friday. Lovely food/gear shop and extremely nice hosts! Cabins are modern, clean, and perfect for a weekend getaway. We brought food and used the kitchenette the whole time. Satellite TV in several cabins, as well as modern heat, fridge, and amenities. We played in the snow most of the day and borrowed the free snow shoes to tour the large property. A stream runs right through the property. Best of all, the premises is extremely dog friendly! Been here several times, our favorite spot while visiting the area.

First night: GLAMPING! It was awesome... the tent was really clean and well prepared with area rugs, side tables, comfy beds, soft pillows and warm blankets!!! Second night: CAMPING! We pitched our own tent (Tent site #4) this time. The tent site was perfect with picnic table, barbecue grill and area for bonfire! There are so many activities that you can do in this campground. I am so impressed that I already recommended it to my relatives and friends! We'll be back for sure!

Small little cabin, with homey kitchenette; lovely for an elf, to generously bequeath. A beautiful old growth Ponderosa Pine, perched right outside the bedroom: sublime! Friendly and kind, when their General Store comes to mind. The only drawback was the internet, treating us like a Cossack, was certainly not a non-tax.

All 3 parties agreeing for partial refund

**EDITED SEE ATTACHED ** Thank you for not returning my call BUT replied to a bad review. As you can SEE picture attached NO zero degree weather causing pipes to "freeze" Trying to charge us 1750 for "damages" We checked in Thursday and left Sunday morning, we were suppose to check out Monday. I booked 2 rooms thinking it was adjoining rooms I canceled the other room , which we're still waiting on a refund. Even hung the sign on the door stating we were gone which said to hang btw Left in the morning around the time they open, they open at 10-2 is what they told us Arrived and it's NOT a resort, it's beautiful and peaceful yes but more of a campground. Settled in and put tv on for our kids and didn't work. Tried messing with it for a bit and couldn't think with my wildlings trying to play so I called and see if they can help ..right? Wrong Right away Liz " I can't I can't I can't" over sand over not even trying to listen for the issue. Said she'd get someone to try and help, they never came nor did they even call back to check if we figured it out. We used up all the towels the 2nd day and went in to get a fresh set, mind you I have already entered all our info ( age, people, pets , even age) When I asked for extra towels, got a weird look "how many" Replied 5 "5!!?" How many people you have in there!? replied again 5 Still shocked Told her 3 kids 2 adults STILL asks for ages Replied 7,3,1 "Oh ok" lol Now they're trying to claim we left the windows WIDE open causing the heater to turn off freezing the pipes 1. It never got below 0 not even on the day it started snowing 2. They were opened enough to air out; bc windows were foggy 3.if we left them WIDE open our kids including myself would've not been happy inside with puffy warm jackets inside I get it people are hurting to keep business afloat but treating others grimy is not the way to go

Maybe Lichen... Letharia vulpina, wolf lichen, grows like a multiple-branched tuft or leafless mini-shrub,

We celebrated our Thanksgiving 2020 at Crater Lake Resort. My son enjoyed our cabin so much. Pretty clean nice place and has fresh clean creek pass through the property too which is a plus. I would recommend Crater lake if you want to stay near by Crater lake national park, only 20 miles drive. Hope to visit again.

This is a lovely place to stay if you need to explore Crater lake. The pros: Kid and pet friendly BBQ area near the pond. Lounging area under the trees Play area for kids Small trail for doggie or kids Shampoo, conditioner and make up removers, a total plus for the ladies. Clean bathroom with warm water. Heater, WiFi and a minuscule TV but we came to detach from technology so it was perfect for us. Great customer service!! Military discount, thanks guys for your support to military members. The store is actually well stocked with the essentials for camping plus breakfast items. Approximately, 15 min away from the south entrance to Crater Lake. Cons: They need an upgrade on comforters, they seemed to be stained and outdated. However, I always travel with my own sheets, pillows and blankets so this was not a big issue for me. Bottom line, I will definitely be coming back. These guys are plain awesome and my family and I appreciate their business

This is a diamond in the rough find! 23 miles from Crater Lake National Park South entrance. Very nicely kept and a beautiful creek running through the back of the park with access to free canoes. A nice little store on site. Definitely recommend this place!!!

This is THE place if you are willing to give up some modern conveniences for a small town vibe and a peaceful respite. I loved how the two owners Robin and Jim made me feel at home. I love their, ahem...mature hippy vibe. We spent some time talking about the good old days of the 60's and 70's. They've owned this place since the early 2000's and basically rebuilt it. They made sure that all of my needs were met and what to expect inside room number 2. Thank you for the complimentary sumatra coffee and creamer for the next morning. FYI, there is no wi-fi or cable. Instead they offer free DVD's to play on their in-room DVD player and flat panel TV. Or bring a book or other literature to read to plan your next day. The room was just what I needed: a comfortable bed, a hot shower, AC and heat. BONUS: a kitchenette, cubes to charge your devices, tiny gas powered fireplace, desk with chair, box fan, etc. Plus a carport for the car. I felt safe there. For being next to a highway, it was quiet after sunset. Now to dispel any rumor that Crater is closed. I spent the day enjoying the national park before retiring for the evening at Jo's. The next day I returned to the park to do the things I didn't do the day before. Currently everything is open except the east rim.

My wife stood at the front desk for several minutes thinking someone was coming. Then she realized there was a young lady sitting and reading a book as the desk was high. She said "Oh hello" to which the person kept reading. She then asked if it was too early to check in to which the young gal sneered and said emphatically "Yes" and then called continued to read without standing or anything. We left and came back at 3:30pm and asked a kind young man if it was possible to check in and he relayed they would not check us in till 4:30. Which seems quite late as the lodge is fully booked. We asked if we could leave our luggage as we had dinner reservations at that time in the dining room. He went and checked but said no we could not so we took our luggage back to the car which was okay. There were many people waiting to check in at 4:30pm so it will be a line waiting which seems quite pointless as one might know when rooms are ready and then gradually check folks in as there room is ready. The lodge is fully booked. Dinner was very nice and calm. Portions for the duck were about 4 ounces of meat so I would get steak or fettuccine. Prices are $14 per glass of wine and $35-58 for food. There was still ambiance was nice. There was still a crowd waiting to check in after 5:30pm and rooms were still not ready. We did finally get our room which had no towels at all. I went on a hunt for the cleaning cart and got my own as the cleaner was not to be seen. Definitely bring multi plugs with you as there are no plugs available at bedside as the lamps take them all. The stars at night are fantastic and a must see. The stay was still nice and the lodge is beautiful with nice fireplaces to sit at. Comfortable chairs throughout the lodge area. A lot of history. The rest of the staff smiled. Much of the negative could be fixed with a manager who is managing and pitching in where there were one deep positions. No manager was observed as couples and families waited hours for rooms that were not ready. This location is surviving by location alone as there is no other option The staff are sparse because their dormitories are under repair and many are commuting over 40 minutes to/from dorms so I can understand the short staffing. One would think a good contract would fix these issues quickly.
