Haven't used the pool but the smell of chlorine hits you when you walk into the hotel. Front desk is always pleasant. We will continue staying here twice a year every year.

The a/c unit was noisy, the TV was old and dim, the room overall was just okay at best. For those of you who like breakfast, all they had was cold cereal, pre-wrapped omelets, bagels, and muffins and a microwave to heat them. Only stay here as a last resort.

We also were never made aware that there is a shortage of bananas (I love bananas). We were put in the wrong room the first night. We had no clue until we tried to charge our morning coffee to the room. Max (he was so busy and made delicious coffee) said a name that was most definitely not mine. At least that's what I was told, so we ended up with one room and 3 beds for an extra $100. The first night shower was messed up, and the charger didn't work because you have to flip the light switch. This time around I'm really disappointed by the fact they don't clean your rooms without you going to the front and asking. I stayed 4 nights and not one turn down. The breakfast sucks and is only cold Options. The hotel is old as dirt and has no new renovations, yes the pricing is cheap but I won't be staying here again. Beds are old, make noises when you move, the walls are dirty, the bathroom is growing mold, I honestly don't think anyone really cleans here. You can see the dust on the lamps and light fixtures. It is a convenient place due to the location. They do have a lot of parking and a pool that is heated which is weird when the weather is 80-90 degrees during the summer. There are a lot of homeless people around here and behind the rooms I did take a picture. It sucks when you can't leave windows open because you don't want to hear or see them. I did see a lot of people staying here smoking outside of the rooms or near their cars. Which is not okay. I didn't like that the lady that works here sat down instead of getting up to greet you, I did ask if I can borrow a broom to clean our room and she said no. I don't see why that's an issue all I know is it left a sour taste in my mouth. It's unfortunate that Klamath doesn't have new upgraded hotels.

THIS was exactly what I got at The Maverick Motel, and couldn't be happier. Don't think you're coming to a Hilton or anything like it.. but great value and exceeded all expectations. The Dad at the front desk was really great and polite even at 11pm AND when we left early morning. The room was definitely.clean and comfortable, with a good soft bed and pillows, a microwave and fridge, and a decent comfortable space for a toilet and shower/tub even for a big guy like myself. The AC blew cold. The TV and cable worked great. Nothing more you can ask for. Thank you for this stay and good nights sleep!!! A couple notes: 1. There is no breakfast here... But they do have coffee. 2. There is a small convenience store in the office, and they've got a lot. 3. MIDGE FLYS - they are everywhere outside and the Dad at the front desk warns you about them. Get in and out of your door quickly to keep them out. THEY ARE HARMLESS. 4. Not sure about wheelchair access here. I didn't see a ramp from the lot to the rooms, but I could be wrong.

I then after watched the location of my headphones change to someone's personal home in Klamath falls. I called back to ask about this and he kept brushing me off and calling me back. Then after days of me calling him and and trying to allow him to make it right, he claims my headphones were not 'stolen' because stolen is when someone takes your personal property 'from' you and apparently when you forget something it's fair game. He then read me the fine print from my agreement that says they aren't responsible for the loss of property. He insists that nobody rented the room after me, and that his housekeeping did not steal them . So how did they change locations if the only person on the room is an employee of the motel? Is he suggesting someone from the street came to take them out of the room? Because that seems wildly unsafe that anyone but a hotel staff would have access to the room. After days of avoiding my call, no apologies or anything. After getting majorly frustrated of him talking over me I ended up dropping an f bomb, and then he told me I needed to clean up my language. Clean up your dumpy hotel dude. To whoever works here and took my headphones, I hope it costs you your job. Would have been cheaper to just buy your own Unless it was the motel manager himself, then I hope this actually costs you some business.

Other campers were having problem getting hot water in the other showers, plus change machine didn't work and store is not manned, always have to call someone. The staff is very nice, the restaurant has good food and service, just wished they served lunch during the week. We stay there because closer to fishing, but will probably stay at Harrimans from this time forward.

If you need a place to sleep and are not expecting 5 stars then okay but I paid $249 for 1 night and that's atrocious for the stay I had. Best Western has gone downhill and I'll never stay at a BW again.

It was comfortable and we could see our vehicle from the window. The bedroom had a large mirror as a backdrop with bright lights, it was perfect for someone to do their makeup if the bathroom was in use etc. The bed was comfortable, and we had plenty of pillows. The down side of the rooms being small is you can hear the tv from the next room through the walls. And unfortunately for us the alarm clock from the opposite room that went off from about 530 - 930ish when housekeeping went in and shut it off. The only other issue w3 ran into was the side door closest to our rooms key reader was down so we had to walk around to get back in the building. The location was great for our trip and the hotel was clean and nice, and the staff was all friendly. Overall a good experience.

The fridge was handy as there were many grocery stores in the area to buy snacks and drinks. We used the indoor hot tub and pool during our visit. Both were great! The towels were fully stocked and the pool and hot tub were very clean. The complimentary breakfast was very good too. The staff worked hard to keep the food stocked when the breakfast rush arrived. My only complaint is the elevators. We took the stairs most of the time because the elevators would shake and seemed to pause for a few minutes before finally settling on the second floor to open the doors. At first we called the first elevator (on the left) "sketchy" after a few uses. We then revised the nickname to "sketchy 1" after using the elevator to the right, which we fondly named "sketchy 2." Both elevators were a little scary so we just used the stairs. Other than that we had a wonderful time at this Holiday Inn Express.

I booked this hotel on my way through Oregon through the IHG app. I like the IHG group of hotels and I had no issues with this hotel it's exactly what you would expect from IHG hotels and Holiday Inn Express. But will really set this place apart was, again, Cynthia! When I showed up she was friendly and courteous. There were other people waiting to check in and she handled all of our tasks professionally and deftly, I wasn't waiting for very long! Then, there was an issue with my room and Cynthia was able to accommodate me getting into a different room. Then I made a mistake with my key card and Cynthia helped me out with the most wonderful attitude. And finally helped me get settled into my room for the night. Checking into hotel can be stressful, especially when there's something that goes wrong, and especially when you make a mistake with misplacing your key card. Cynthia took all the stress out of that situation and really helped me out. The breakfast in the morning was a little limited, but the server was very friendly and helpful! So again, this hotel is great, but the star of the show here is definitely Cynthia!

They are pet friendly, which was a must for us and charge a nominal fee (standard). We stayed 2 nights and I actually got one of my best nights of sleep here as their beds are super comfy. The couple that runs the place and lives on site are so sweet and welcoming... everything you read in the reviews about them is true! The little flower vase, in room coffee set up (really good coffee) and quaintness of all the little touches did not go unnoticed. Our room had a pretty large mini fridge with freezer and a microwave. Nice big area for your pups to sniff around as well. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
