This is a nice donut shop to come to when traveling back-and-forth Nevada/California. The guy there is nice, and helpful. Spacious, and clean. Unfortunately, the only thing I don't like, is that there is no turkey for my croissant. Lol they only have ham. Looks like they like to decorate for special days. Photos of Halloween 2024.

What a nice greeting when we entered! Doughnuts hit the spot. My daughter chose doughnuts as her bday cake, so we sat inside and quietly sang happy birthday and she blew out her candles on an apple fritter. Service was really kind and friendly.

Exceptional donuts, twists and fritters! The apple fritters were the best we have enjoyed in a long time. A really nice selection of fresh treats, beautifully presented. Good prices; very friendly service. All and all, a great way to start the day!

Thank god for this place I have a great time eating a ham and cheese croissant and the customer service outstanding!!!

Best Donuts I have ever had in my life! They need more locations. Please come to NC! The customer service was amazing, super friendly and awesome staff. If I'm ever in the area I will be sure to stop here again.

Best place to eat in Barstow!

Was out here for work and stopped in to use the restroom and pick up a few donuts for the long drive home. The guy working there was super nice and said he's known for his glazed donut. I got that a raspberry donut, chocolate donut with nuts and a water. He was right, the glazed donut was soft and fluffy with a fresh glaze. If you're out in Barstow, you have to stop at Frosty's. It's in the same location as the San Bernardino County office.

With just $1.65, you can purchase a donut's worth of pure joy. The glazed donut here was probably the best glazed donut I have ever had! If you are in the area and in need of a donut fix, come to Frosty's Donuts! This is a family owned business that makes fresh donuts daily. The donut was a ring of fluffy perfection with a thin glaze that was not overly sweet. This is the perfect stop to recharge from a drive between LA and Vegas. Although there is no seating area, there is plenty of parking at the store front and in the plaza, and you really won't be here for too long because you will buy and devour the donut in seconds.

The glazed donut was so good! Yelp had no chance getting a photo. Lol

The gift shop has tons of Disney collectibles and figures, various kchotckes, souvenir magnets and stuff. Also they have various unique flavors in bottles sodas and they scoop Thrift ice cream. Outside in the back they have some dinosaurs made of metal and a King Kong. They have some ponds with super green colored water. They have a wall to create a waterfall. They have a stage area that doesn't look like it gets used. The dino shop looks permanently closed. They have a couple of tables that you can sit and enjoy the scenery. Snapping turtles are in the pond and several ducks were around. Not sure why the water is so green though, it's kind of off putting. Anyhow, when we entered we went to the right and followed the yellow "brick" road to the back dining room. The first room is a counter service area with a couple of booths. The next room is a dark looking room with tables and then the larger and bright dining room. If you go further you get the pizza place. If we had gone left upon entry, that would be the gift shop and ice cream area. Their menu is cute and movie themed with comfort food selections. Since we were not too hungry we decided to share the chicken friend steak and 2 eggs with hash browns and sourdough toast. Love that they offer orange marmalade jelly. Our server was very pleasant and food came out quickly. The chicken fried steak was a decent size and was flavorful. Wish it had a bit more gravy though. The hash browns were cooked perfectly. I live that they serve whipped butter for the toast. It was super easy to spread! The food was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture of it. Eggs were cooked perfectly. The place was pretty busy when we got there. I have always wanted to stop here and finally was able to. It was definitely worth the stop and we will be back again for their food! Next trip we are going to have some Thrifty ice cream too. This time we night some real cane sugar Dr. Pepper and different root beers and sasparilla to take with us.

Overall, I think I expected a bit more, although nothing was necessarily wrong. The diner was decorated throughout, but the theme did not strongly read as 1950s to me. At first glance, I could have mistaken it for more of a dive-bar-style spot, though the staff uniforms were a nice touch. The food was average overall. I tried the "Huell Howser" burger, which includes honey ham and pineapple on a cheeseburger. It was okay, but the pineapple was only one ring, so the flavor did not come through in every bite, and the ham did not stand out much either. I also tried the "King Kong Monster Burger," which was smaller than I expected based on the name and looked more like a standard double-patty burger. The curly fries tasted a bit undercooked and were not my favorite. Surprisingly, the side salad with their house-made ranch was one of the highlights. The ranch was buttery and flavorful. The candy store/souvenir shop on the other side of the building was less impressive than I hoped, much of it felt like mass-produced merchandise rather than vintage or unique finds. Overall, I'm glad I tried it once, but I would not personally go out of my way to return.

It was a Saturday morning around 9:30ish and was surprised it wasn't that busy. We found a booth and saw we had to scan a QR code for the menu. OK, I admit, I hate that. Then they had instructions to download the app to place your order. I assume this was put in place for COVID. Finally, a waitress came over and said she'll take our order. Thank goodness! I ordered French Toast with sausage patties, which I totally prefer over links but it's so rare to find them on the menu, and my partner had a breakfast burrito. The food arrived fairly quick and it was perfect. I'm not into fancy breakfast foods so keep is simple and I'm happy. The breakfast burrito was HUGE and my partner wasn't able to finish it. The entire breakfast with coffee was about $40, which I felt was very reasonable by today's standards. We both mentioned how we recently went to famous SoCal fast food hamburger joint (not In-and-Out) and it was $30 for 2 people, and not as good. Our service was super friendly, and we felt welcome there. Along with good food, this might be our regular breakfast stop when driving to Vegas.

i thought this place was cute & gave it a chance but everything went downhill…read more i overpaid, the service was slow, and the food was wrong & mediocre i'm passing through barstow from vegas to cali & wanted a breakfast that wasn't fast food, so i looked online & found los domingos and saw the menu online as well. firstly i ordered takeout & told the cashier i was using the online menu, & she said okay. i ordered the chorizo & eggs burrito and the new mexico chicken enchiladas. on the website, these are 6.99 each, so that's what i assumed it was. she never told me the price, never read my order back to me, & didn't offer me to look at the physical menu. it should be reasonable i'm shocked that my receipt & card was charged $30+ when i was under the assumption each item was 6.99 plus tax. next, our server also told us it was a 10 minute wait. cool! we ordered at 8:19, but our food was not done until 8:50. 30 minute wait for 2 dishes. it wasn't even busy so i don't know why it took so long. this was very disappointing as we were on a trip, and now we were 20-30 minutes behind. if i had known it was gonna be a 30 minute wait initially i would've ordered somewhere else. my burrito came with beans after i specifically ordered the one without beans. and my girlfriend's enchilada chicken looked pink & questionable. i guess all i can say is the potatoes were good. i called the store after i left to ask how much each item was, & all they could say was the online website is outdated. how was i supposed to know that, and why did they never tell me my total & just charged my card? also sucks that the receipt doesnt tell me already how much each item was, just the total. the girl also initially gave me my food & said have a good day without charging me, but i was honest & said oh i didnt pay yet. i wish i never paid & i wish i never stopped here. would've rather got mcdonalds at this point.

We decided to try a different burger joint vs the typical In-N-Out, McD, Burger King, Carl's, Jack, etc. Boy am I glad we stopped by here. Pros 1) they had a Burger menu, as well as other Mexican food dishes and desserts on the board. Love the variety! 2) restaurant looked clean. I didn't see any dirty tables, trash on the floor, or sticky counters. 3) cashier, Andrea, was very nice. 4) we got the grilled cheese sandwich ($3.99), mushroom burger ($6.50), and a combo which is a bacon burger with added cheese & fries ($10.99). If you add cheese, it's an additional $0.85. For something so simply and normal, these were delicious. Burgers were so juicy, bread soft, meat good, and flavorful. Little one loved the grilled cheese sandwich. Fries were made perfectly. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and seasoned with salt perfectly. Made me think I should have tried a Mexican dish instead of the mushroom burger. Lol If a burger can be that good, the Mexican dish must be even better. 5) no soft music here. Restaurant is very quiet. The customers who arrived were all very quiet. 6) love how as soon as Andrea see someone come to the counter, she immediately walks to the register to take orders. 7) it's our 1st time there and she didn't rush us or give us an attitude, while ee were still deciding what to order because there were quite a few stuff on the menu. 8) nice large parking lot. Cons 1) bathroom was closed due to them just mopping the floor. But I understand that. Sometimes you want to clean stuff up so you can close and head home after. Versus staying late to clean. Conclusion We actually were very impress with the foods we ordered here. So good and juicy. No complaints. Andrea was very professional. I forgot to take pictures of our foods because it was that good. Plus we ordered to go and ate in the dark in our car. Lol I recommend this restaurant if you're on the move and need a quick grab. We had no issue.
