This is a nice donut shop to come to when traveling back-and-forth Nevada/California. The guy there is nice, and helpful. Spacious, and clean. Unfortunately, the only thing I don't like, is that there is no turkey for my croissant. Lol they only have ham. Looks like they like to decorate for special days. This is my go to spot. I usually get great donuts here until I stopped in last week for a donut. I got a chocolate long John and I took a bite of it and got a mouthful of oil. Maybe it sat in cold oil when frying. Service is always good. Owner is cool. read more

Great donuts. But seriously... What time do you open? 4:00, 4:30, 5:00. Please update your hours out of consideration for customers. I'd like to remain a customer but it's unacceptable to have people waiting- then leave for work hungry because we waited on a store for 45 minutes to open past open time! I am visiting my son who is working out of Fort Irwin for a few months - he loves doughnuts!!! I went in a few hours before closing and the doughnuts looked delicious. The gentleman helping me was so friendly and he said he was sorry he didn't have so many to choose from and I told him I was grateful he didn't because the ones remaining looked delicious. I confess, I had to sample one on the way home to my son's place and it's one of the best doughnuts I've ever had! It was so fresh and I figured it wouldn't be because they were to close in a couple hours. I will definitely go again while I'm visiting and recommend people stop in and grab a few donuts. read more

We stopped here on the way while on a road trip. Such a delight to taste fresh and delicious donuts. The person at the counter told us that they don't use eggs, so it was even better since we prefer eggless food items. We tried coconut, chocolate, and some plain donuts. They were baked perfectly to the core and the sweetness was appropriate. Neither too sweet nor too bland. They also serve coffee and we liked the taste. The only place I go to in Barstow that has legit, tasty "pink box" donuts. Highly recommend their ham&cheese croissants, but limited stock every day just like their donuts so come early. Pricing is average for donuts, and very kind staff. Closed on MONDAYS! So plan accordingly. read more

Was out here for work and stopped in to use the restroom and pick up a few donuts for the long drive home. The guy working there was super nice and said he's known for his glazed donut. I got that a raspberry donut, chocolate donut with nuts and a water. He was right, the glazed donut was soft and fluffy with a fresh glaze. If you're out in Barstow, you have to stop at Frosty's. It's in the same location as the San Bernardino County office. read more

With just $1.65, you can purchase a donut's worth of pure joy. The glazed donut here was probably the best glazed donut I have ever had! If you are in the area and in need of a donut fix, come to Frosty's Donuts! This is a family owned business that makes fresh donuts daily. The donut was a ring of fluffy perfection with a thin glaze that was not overly sweet. This is the perfect stop to recharge from a drive between LA and Vegas. Although there is no seating area, there is plenty of parking at the store front and in the plaza, and you really won't be here for too long because you will buy and devour the donut in seconds. read more

No frills donut joint, but who gawking cares!? Frosty's donuts' glazed donuts were amazing, soft, and perfectly fluffy with a slight chew. We stopped by on the way to Vegas from California, in the city of Barstow, and it was my first time seeing donuts being knead by hand. Nice people, a good flow of customers, and the regular coffee was pretty decent. They also had a few interesting donuts like a Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Oreo, knotted, sprinkles, and the usual kinds. Excellent donuts!! On my donut scale this is a 9.6. I reserve the 10 for donuts from the Amish/Lancaster area as a comparison. Quick, easy, non-rushed service at the counter. Asked a question about a donut and they were kind enough to realize we were first-timers so offered up info on the whole row. We were in and out in about 2 minutes, which is how long it took me to consume the coconut donut. Perfection! Not too sweet and not at all oily. No aftertaste. Very light. I am saving my boston cream for a little later so I can savor it. If you're in the area I highly recommend supporting this business and your donut obsession read more

Ah this is where you go to get your sugar craving satisfied. It's a quick detour from the highway and oh so worth it. The doughnuts were fresh and tasty. Our family stopped in for donuts this morning while traveling. We bought a box of assorted donuts and absolutely enjoyed them! I wish I had taken a picture to show them all but we devoured them pretty quickly! one did survive but not for long! Customer service was great and knowledgeable which we always appreciated! When i went there this morning, i thought it was just gonna be a random donut place. But when i got there, i found a really nice and funny man who possibly was the owner. He was also playing Scream on the TV which is one of my favorite horror movies. The decorations were all Halloween themed which i loved. The donuts were fresh and tasty.
