Probably one of the worst Starbucks I have been to . Dirty and not welcoming. No cozy vibes. Glad I just stopped by to grab a coffee . My white chocolate mocha tasted burnt . I was in my way to Vegas so no time to complain and have it remade. I also had a caffeine withdrawal so just wanted my coffee . Anywho .. I stopped in recently to grab a drink. Unfortunately, the person who took my drink order, did not do a very good job in making the notations necessary so that my drink was made accurately. Essentially what I was given was a passion tea with a splash of lemonade and something crazy when it came to how many pumps of classic syrup they added to it. My drink was supposed to have peach juice and three pumps of classic, maybe four. But it definitely wasn't that. Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to try it before jumping into the car and having to zip off somewhere else. How do I known, I would've had them remake it completely. There's no chance of by asking for a refund or replacement now. But, I still don't think that I would return here. The staff were not all that friendly. The wait time was exceedingly long to order. This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. The staff are terrible and lack the skills to make proper drinks. All the beverages look like just milk, as if they added only half a shot of espresso. Additionally, they completely messed up my order, didn't note the last drink, and never apologized. They were very rude and made us wait another 20 minutes for just one drink while they were not that busy and had - at least 6 workers. I've been a loyal Starbucks customer for years, but lately the experience has gone downhill especially when it comes to basic human decency. I recently visited a store and urgently needed to use the restroom before placing my order. The staff flat-out refused to let me in unless I made a purchase first. I was shocked. Whatever happened to treating people with kindness? To make matters worse, when I asked for a cup of water (which used to be complimentary), I was met with attitude and denied unless I bought something. It felt like I was being punished for not immediately spending money. Starbucks used to be a welcoming, community-oriented space. Now it feels cold, transactional, and unnecessarily rude. I understand rules change, but there's a way to treat customers--with empathy and respect--and Starbucks completely missed the mark here. I left without ordering and with no intention of coming back any time soon. read more

Stopped by on the way home from Vegas. It was clean, there was enough parking, and the drinks were made quickly. We also decided on getting some breakfast while we were here, and ordered the turkey bacon and egg sandwich. The barista was kind enough to remove the cheese from my sandwich prior to putting it in the toaster. The restrooms (the real reason to stop at a Starbs while on a road trip) was nice and clean. Cool place to go if you're looking for a little booster on a roadtrip! The bad part is that you're also paying vacation level prices for something that you may want as part of your daily routine. I got a Frappuccino, which is basically a milkshake. Super tasty and had me wired for the rest of the drive. The staff were friendly but the menu had confusing sizing and instead of a large I had to order a Venti? Odd but it kind of adds a bit of charm to the place. Did you know that you can get a half caff latte? I didn't before this week! What's a half caff latte? It's made with half caffeinated espresso and half decaf espresso. It's the way to go when you hit the afternoon side of a drive. You want coffee to stay alert but want to be able to sleep when you arrive at your location. It's genius, honestly! My husband got a half caff latte, while I ordered a half caff iced latte with coconut milk and an everything bagel. We were both equally satisfied with our order! So why the four stars? This Starbucks could work on their ambiance and service. It's a very barren Starbucks that it kind of takes you aback when you walk in. If I was coming to work remotely or meet a friend for coffee, it'd work but wouldn't be comfortable like others are. For being extremely well staffed and not too busy, it took a fair amount of time for someone to notice me standing at the register and to come take my order. Customer service needs help here! No sense of urgency! When I arrived, there a few waiting for their drinks already. Then there were three customers ahead of me on line. Then there were 6 customers behind me in line. Cashier was fine. Placed my order of a grande sweet cream cold brew with no ice with my own personal cup. I waited 20 minutes and noticed everyone in the store had picked up their drinks already. I had to ask about my drink & the male barista told me he was just making it next. How difficult was it to pour the cold brew and milk together? Should not have taken so long. When I got my drink, he had filled it with 50% ice and then the coffee and milk. I had ordered the drink with no ice. I asked him to fix the mistake. He gave me attitude. First, he made the mistake and it should have been one of the easiest drinks to make which should not have taken so long! read more

One of the worst Starbucks ever! The place is very unkept! Unkept from the parking lot into the establishment. Parking lot sticky and messy. Bathrooms are just as filthy. Lack toilet paper in every stall. Toilets not flushed. And just overall bad! To make matter worst, they were out of my drink! I wonder how many other drinks they are out of! Look for another Starbucks in route to your destination! Or even try McDonalds across the street as they have cool real trains at their establishment. read more

We stopped at the Barstow(store #8106-95474) location on our way home from Las Vegas. It was late in the evening, and there were several customers waiting for there drinks. We waited about 30 minutes before we received our drink. My wife and I both had the hot Venti Cafe' Mocha. My wife's had whipped cream, mine without. When I took my first sip, it tasted a little weird. My wife noticed hers did too. She tasted mine, an made a face of dislike. She said it tasted horrible. Not sure if the milk was bad or not. But even more, you could barely taste coffee or chocolate. I took another sip, and decided to take it back. I informed an employee, it didn't taste right. She took both of our drinks an remade them. There were slightly better. They didn't have that bad or sour taste, but they still did not have coffee or chocolate flavor. read more

Wow what an amazing Starbucks! We stopped here from our trip from Idaho. The employees are so friendly and my drinks were so yummy. Kudos to the management team and staff! A couple of things I noted on my journey from Idaho, this place is in a small town that is pretty far from everything. Great that you can manage to keep this place fully staffed with good employees and keep it so clean! The wait was pretty decent for how busy it was. It felt great to stretch our legs and use the restrooms. I understand the Starbucks corporation only allows each location a certain amount of staffing hours each day, and I think they did amazing with what they were staffed with for today's shift. read more

Terrible. I went there this morning. The bottom of my Cafe Mistro had hard small plastic - coffee grounds. I swallowed them and they were stuck in my throat for over an hour. It went all over the inside of my mouth. I spit it out and this is what it looked like. I called to get a refund and they refused. They told me to go to another Starbucks and have them remake it. We are traveling and stopped on our way home. Took them three times to get one of our drinks right. When we got into the car back on the highway when I went to drink my coffee it was only halfway full. I paid for a full cup coffee not half of one. We are already back on the highway so not turning around for another 20 minutes out of our way. Really disappointed. Won't be coming here on our trip home or ever again for that matter. Apparently they do not care about this location as none of the complaints here have even been acknowledged. Lots of bad reviews. Quick stop (post Vegas) for a stretch and maybe a cool drink. And a bathroom break. Considering there were less than 10 parking spaces, the line was surprisingly long. It was a bit bizarre since they were fully staffed and they were all hustlin'. And I guess they were too busy to notice but the floors could use a little cleanin'... I normally stop at this location when I'm traveling to Arizona, it's always a positive experience, but a couple of weeks ago the staff went so far above and beyond that I'm still in awe. I arrived early in the morning, there was a homeless man outside when I entered, he was polite and not a problem. After I picked up my order I saw the homeless man trying to get my attention, he ended up coming inside and asking me for money to get some food. I told him that I don't give money, but that I'd be more than happy to order something for him. As I placing his order on my phone a young woman came up and asked me how my experience was, it was clear she was checking in on me making sure I knew she was there, she was cordial to the gentleman, in no way trying to make him uncomfortable. I let her know that I was fine and appreciated her checking in. A few moments later the barista approached and asked how my coffee was, again making sure that I was good, but also taking care to not disrespect the homeless gentleman. The three of us had a brief chat, I then let the barista know that I had just placed an order for the gentleman to make sure there were no issues when he picked it up from the mobile window. When I left I overheard the barista continue polite conversation with the man, it warmed my heart to know that the employees understood that it was an uncomfortable situation, and while wanting to ensure that I felt safe they possessed the kindness to be respectful to another human being that was experiencing hard times. I wish I knew the names of those two employees, they are role models of who we should all strive to be. read more
