A very passionate and energetic guy with tons of great recommendations, both for the restaurant and for things in the general area. Highly appreciated his energy. The food was fairly priced and delicious! We had the paella and the burger. The burger was a little less salty than I'm used to, but that means it was much better for my health, so I didn't add any salt or seasoning. They were both so delicious and filling, that we ended up taking them home and having leftovers in the morning. Would you believe it if I said they still tasted amazing the next morning? It's a little confusing where the front entrance is, but there are plenty of signs to guide you where you need to go. Don't sleep on this place. It's awesome. read more

Nice bar/restaurant with good solid cocktails and very decent food with a few standouts. It actually reminded me of a western bar atmosphere but a lot more interesting drinks. The cocktails we had were very good, especially since they were not too sweet, a true test IMHO. The food is mostly very good with standouts like their tomato soup which is truly excellent IMHO. The dollar night oysters were very good for the price, significantly higher quality than most dollar night bivalves. We'll definitely be returning to explore their offerings more. read more

I've visited a few times and tried our several menu items and my current favorite is the steak tips! I also had the "relaxation" drink which was similar to a Hugo spritz with cucumber and enjoyed it. The buffalo Brussels sprouts are also a favorite. Service is also pretty quick, even on occasions like Valentine's Day! read more

Went for lunch with a friend visiting from Boston. Large comfortable bar, nice room. We shared the mussels and roasted Brussels sprouts. Delicious and perfect to share for lunch. Topped off with two Aperol Spritz. Great service extra bread for the mussel sauce, delightful afternoon! read more

Great food, great vibes, and a lovely patio! We came here in search of a place that was kid-friendly and also had nice seafood, and we definitely found it. The tuna wonton appetizer was amazing, as were the fish tacos and lobster roll entrees. Well let me start with how much we enjoy Crave, the food is excellent. But we visited on a hot evening and were seated in dining room. It was 5:30 and they opened at 5:00 but it was sweltering despite AC. It was cooling off by the end of the meal....my shirt was drenched in sweat. Dessert, I don't think so! Turn on AC at a time to assure it is appropriate temperature to assure patron comfort. read more

For my cousin's birthday lunch, we came here. For the appetizer, we decided to order the crave wings, that was bomb! I'm not sure what the glaze is, but that was good, it seemed like a mixture of bbq/sriracha? Not sure but that was delish! Super food, and very friendly people! What more could you ask for? We were in Amesbury for the first time. It is a sweet little town with its own special quaint vibe. So nice that Crave is part of that. I had fish tacos which were great. I had never had coleslaw on tacos, and I liked it. My AZ taste buds did crave more heat, but the server brought over some very good hot sauce that did the trick. Hubby enjoyed the steak tips. We opted for the parmesan fries, which were full of flavor. Portions were more than adequate. The bar area looked very interesting, but we were at the end of a very long trip and decided to pass on the beer and wine. Our server could not have been more friendly. We felt very welcome. We had reservations early on a Saturday night. Luckily we sat in the dining room because the bar and outside patio were very loud. Casual but very nice. My dining companion said it was the best lobster roll she's had all year. I thought the waitstaff was among the friendliest and helpful I'd seen in a while. And overall this place had a great mix to make a great meal. Started with fresh shucked oysters - excellent - and buffalo Brussels sprouts. Never knew I need those! I had the opportunity to go to Crave today for lunch, after hearing great things from family who have gone often. We sat on the large deck, and had it practically to ourselves. Our server was very pleasant and efficient (I have a terrible memory for names but she had a lovely British accent). We were warned of possible bees on the patio but we only saw a few and they were not a problem. The patio is nice as much of it is shaded from a roof overhang and trees so you're not out broiling in the sun. The setting is quiet and pretty, even in the middle of town, overlooking a cool giant chess set. Parking is free and easy in the lot right next door. The food was high quality and well-prepared and quite delicious. My tuna salad sandwich was top notch, and I'm picky about tuna. It was very tasty and served on really good sourdough toast . I asked them to hold the bacon. It came with amazing Old Bay fries that are sliced thin and nice and crispy. My daughter got the summer salad which she has had multiple times and loves. I had some and it was unique, healthy and delicious. The candied chick peas are a highlight. Her boyfriend had a cheeseburger that he said is one of the best he's ever had, with Parmesan fries that will be in my dreams. Can't wait to go back! read more

Crave is one of my favorite restaurants in Amesbury. The food is always good and we'll prepared.

Normally on a Tuesday after work we reward ourselves with a trip to the Tuna striker for steamers and beers. Well they closed for the season. So we decided to give Crave a try. First off, the bar area is beautiful, The wait staff is prompt and the aroma of good food intoxicating. We decided to stick with apps for the evening as we weren't overwhelmingly hungry. It was a great choice because the drinks were delicious. We had the tuna, wings and crispy tomatoes with fresh mozzarella. All delicious. The icing on the cake for us though was just how warm and friendly the staff was. I know that's not everyone's cup of tea but we love when you find a staff who are so confident in the food their serving, the quality of their drinks and the leadership they work for that they engage with patrons like Sam Malone might with Norm. Wine list could use some help..... I like this place because it's difficult to find authentic independently owned restaurants in the Burbs. The service is typically good, food is good, but if you're into wine, Crave doesn't quite cut it. This is my biggest beef with most restaurants outside of Boston- they all have a similar wine list or they just don't have a real passion for wine but claim they are a "winebar" or wine focused. The producers they support (for the most part) are large conglomerates, and the list isn't very imaginative- typical stuff NZ Sauv Blanc, Malbec, basically what every other restaurant in Amesbury has. I want to order wine, but I typically order a beer instead. But, besides the wine list, I'm glad they are here and I will continue to support! read more

I had Seafood Paella, with extra shrimp instead of mussels, bad choice, the shrimp were rubbery so they were over cooked. I also, had Street Corn which was good. However, the crab cake seemed to have too much breading and not enough seasoning. Although, I did not eat inside the restaurant it seemed to have a good atmosphere. read more

Open for sit-in dining! We called ahead just to make sure there was space for us. The cider donut martini was delicious and in theme for Halloween:) we order 2 appetizers, mussels in white wine and garlic, and buffalo brussel sprouts. They were both really yummy! For the entree we shared the seared scallops, the veggies and cream corn that came with it was tasty, however the scallops could have been cooked longer. The outside was nicely seared but the inside of the scallop was a bit too raw for my liking. For dessert we got the tiramisu which was served in a glass jar and sooo soft, rich, and sweet- the best part of the meal in my opinion! Service was great and prompt.
