Totally legit family owned and operated restaurant - great food, great local bar atmosphere...everything you could possibly ask for. You can always tell the quality of a restaurant by the number of "regulars", and I can honestly say that I see about the same faces almost every time I go, and that speaks volumes about how the owners and staff cater to their customers AND their community - I have been lucky enough to visit there a number of times where they are raising money for this cause or that, and all worthwhile. Great all around experience every time...cannot say enough good things about these folks. Almost forgot - watch Facebook for their specials, in particular the Empanada's (my personal favorite!)...you will be glad you did! read more

Move over Cheers, this is the real neighborhood bar. Pretty good selection of food and drinks. Some may say it's a dive, and I agree, it does have the ambiance of a dive. But it's probably not a place you'd find Guy Fieri at. (thank goodness for that) I went early evening on a Tuesday so it was really chill, not loud or crowded at all. Service was very friendly and helpful. It was unfortunate that their pool table wasn't available due to their balls being stolen and they have not been able to replace them yet. I lived down the street from this hole for 7 years and never went back in. . It was filled with, let's say less than reputable folks. It's filthy inside and the parking lot is full of trash and constantly has people doing drugs outside. Just do a search to see how many people have OD'd outside this place. The pool room was shut down because people would steal the pool balls for whatever reason. Drive past this total dive at all costs. I also received a less than stellar message from one of the employees after posting this review telling me numerous negative things about myself. I love these ladies. The first time I ate here it was primarily a breakfast joint. There was a separate laundrymat out where the gameroom is now. It's a chill neighborhood bar. No clever fixtures or ornate do-dads. They do a fairly good impression of a nightclub (LIVE MUSIC!) on Fri-Sat for this weird town and place where I grew tall. Have the grape leaves, the rice pilaf is sublime; buttery and aromatic. Never had a bad wrap. If they make you choos rice or fries. GET THE RICE! The uneven food reviews here reflect the difficulties of staffing a kitchen where most of the menu is built from generations old 'secret' family recipes. They produce memorable events on the regular; supporting causes like breast cancer, a local food bank and even some patron's medical bills. A great place to throw a party with your peeps. I don't know many people who treat me with such warmth and kindness. I'm not special. They are, they do it for everybody and love their community. read more

No matter the occasion, they always do a fantastic job! Empanadas by request are amazing, and whether you are looking for American food or their famous Lebanese dishes, it will always be delicious . Great place to have a drink, hang out with good people. Sayde and her family treat you like their family when you visit. We have had many birthday and graduation parties here. Food is good (empenadas are the best!), karoke / dj / live music all the time, and TVs on whatever channel you'd like. I'm all for grimey dive bars with enigmatic patrons, but this place is simply overpriced and unappetizing. The stuffed mushrooms tasted only of Ritz crackers when they were supposed to also include walnut stuffing and crabmeat. The steak tips, which I ordered rare as I like them, were clearly old. The meat was purple and not red, which any person that's ever cooked steak would know means it has gone bad. My friend's Arabic plate was so-so and his fries were tasteless and soggy. Maybe all of these reviews are from people who only got drinks, or perhaps fried food, but the cost versus quality was FAR from worth it. I was hesitant to pay $15 for steak tips atop a bed of rice pilaf, but had faith that they would be worth it. I shouldn't have. read more

It's a dive. If you don't like dives, don't go. Went here with a friend. We each got a beer and she got fries. It was 12$ total. Jamie, the bartender was great. Again, if you like IPA or places with 50 beers on tap, don't go here. If you want a place to get, talk, take in the scenary then it's a good time. read more

A group of seven of us went here after the Kentucky Derby. Bad choice! At first, all was okay. Not for long. We got our first round of drinks okay. The waitress brought us many plates of bread, dipping sauces, tabbouli. I was wondering if they were ever going to take our dinner order. Finally, I went to the bar after another half hour, asked if our order could be taken. The waitress came and took the order about ten minutes later. Mine was the last to come out, approx. 20 minutes after the others were done eating. It was also wrong. I wanted chicken and steak tips over rice, hold the peppers and onions. The peppers and onions were there. It was the owner who delivered my food. To her credit, she asked if she could make it right. I told her "I don't have another hour to wait!"" From down the other end of the table, the owner/waitress said "I don't have to be talked to like an asshole." That is the way she talks to her customers. Maybe the other patrons are used to that kind of rough talk as part of the service. She also said I wont be yelled at in my own restaurant. This was after I replied loudly to her first rude statement. The dish was long on rice, very light on the chicken and steak tips. I will tell everyone I know,and whoever may be going into the area to eat: avoid this restaurant like the plague. The taps ran out on 2 of the beers I wanted. I was left with a choice of only 2 or 3 left,I chose a Guiness. I had to repeat myself three times. The bartender/waitress kept going to the fridge to get who knows what. I write it off as a language barrier. The night was total frustration!! I will NEVER go back,and plan on passing this story on to everyone I know, and anyone I hear is coming to that area for supper. read more

Went in looking for kibbie and/or lamb kabob. Disappointed. No lamb on the menu in house, but the online menu has lamb. Was told that they haven't had lamb for a long time. The also had no kibbie that night. Ordered a steak tip salad medium rare to go. Got steak tips medium raw! I had to cook them before I could eat. The pita was stale. Very disappointed in the food. Pleasant people, but that doesn't make up for below average food. read more

Great family owned restaurant/bar! The food is delicious. Homemade Middle Eastern food. They do a lot for the community as well. DJ & karaoke most Friday nights and bands on Saturday. Great place to enjoy a game and a few drinks also! read more

Have been to Sadies 10 to 20 times in last 4 years or more. There is no problem when the Mother, Sayde, serves me food and/or alcohol, or the youngest daughter, Jamie, but whenever Jeanie has served me anything I have had explosive bowel movements. I quit eating the food, I quit ordering any spirits, and I quit using glasses drinking bottled beer, not drafts. I was there just before their holiday break, and the last 48 hours the most explosive diarrhea, and stomach upset ever. Jeanie would go in the back to get my beer, not get it at the cooler like for everyone else. One had excess foam up the neck. In the last 10 years the only time I have had this problem is when Jeanie was my bartender. To my best belief and knowledge Jeanie is dosing my drinks with something. read more

If you like average results this is your place. Neighborhood bar serving decent food at an average price, average drinks but expensive, average service that can be slow when they're busy. Average atmosphere. Please note, small sticker on door notes cash discount however the truth of the matter is if you use your credit card plan on paying an additional 3.99% service charge. Receipts come hand written and math needs improvement, twice our bill was added incorrectly. Overall I give thumbs down on this choice, Salem offers several places for a better meal, quality drinks, correct bill, and NO service charge. If you want a fun place to sing karaoke. This is it!!! If you want poorly prepared Lebanese food at a snails pace on a busy night, this is also it!!! Terrible chicken shawarma. Not tender at all. Tough and rubbery without that distinctive spicy flavor you'd expect from shawarma. No yogurt sauce. Also no kibbeh available on a busy Friday night???? Really??? Why? Apparently ONE waitress for the entire restaurant on a busy night as well. Nope. No and double nope. Also they charge extra for fries with your wrap. Which coincidentally was the best part of the meal. They were hand cut homemade French fries. So if you like crispy French fries, slow service and shawarma wrap that tastes like an average everyday sub well then you've found it!!!! Karaoke is a blast btw! But eat before you go. They were also out of ribs... so you'll likely sit there and starve due to the wait or their being out of food items. We also had to get up and ask the waitress to take our order. We waited approximately 20 minutes and finally had enough of the wait and for up to ask for her to come take our order. I can understand a family run business but time to bite the bullet and hire a cocktail waitress. read more

Sayde's is my favorite place to grab a beer and a snack in New Hampshire.. The food is AWESOME and the booze is really reasonably priced! I am also having my engagement party here in January and am so excited to have the wonderful staff prepare me awesome food and sling drinks at my head. read more

Very delicious food no matter what you choose from. Drinks served before I get to sit down because the bartender/s usually remembers my drink order and I think that's amazing. Family owned business with no outside help and a few people working they do there best when it's crowded and there quickand always will make you feel at home. Must ask to order empanadas. They're worth the money and wait. Great place to watch the Game with friends or go for just a quick beer after work and speak to the very friendly bartender. Also if they don't have your drink of choice, if you become known by the regular patrons and become a regular yourself they may begin to stock it to keep you a happy customer. read more

We have been here a few times now over the last few months. Both times both the service and the food have been great! Steak tips were very tender and the home made french fries delicious and pipping hot. Try the Greek Salad you won't be disappointed. The dressing served with the salad is fantastic. read more

If you are looking for a casual place with great food this is the place for you. I chose a Greek salad with steak tips. The salad was fresh and the steak tips were tender and delicious. I really loved the salad dressing too. My husband had the tips and chicken with home cut fries. Chicken and steak were both cooked perfectly and the fries were awesome! The service was great. Our uncle, who was wearing his Vietnam Vet hat, was given his meal on the house as a thank you for his service. We did not expect that and it was very much appreciated. Absolutely the best, most authentic Lebanese food around! The atmosphere is super casual... local scene-type of thing. But that adds to it. Pool tables, etc., but the FOOD is what it's all about. If you want raw kibbee, you have to call ahead a day in advance to tell them you want it - it's that fresh! The kafta is the BEST I have EVER had. The tabouli (pardon my spelling) is FANTASTIC fresh. Nothing is bland. Sayde and family staff are pure Lebanese who know what they're doing. Try it - you'll like it!!! read more

this place is great. the owner, Sayde is the sweetest person youll ever meet. in fact me, my cousin, nephew, aunt, brother and mother colored her hair today!! there service is nice and food is absoloutly amazing!!!!!!!! i would reccomend all there food. i have no complaints. they are also a bar. i wouldnt know any of there drinks cause im only 13, but my mom and aunt drink there almost every weekend. if your in for a good drink or great food, then go here. read more
