Here's a tip: go into this place with an attitude; give them just as much crap that they give you; drop your etiquette to the lowest setting and prepare to "dish it right back". Trust me, customer service is not their main goal. Save your questions, as you should already be a professional "vaporer" before you enter - if you do have questions, prepare to be met with stone-face, rude, dimwitted personalities. The atmosphere stinks of a "high-schooll clique"...only it's worse because I think they're adults - adults in black with bad tattoos, bad piercings, and bad attitudes. Side effects of walking into Craving Vapor are instant and consist of: being Stared-down, being judged, being rushed, and/or being made to feel as if you're a burden and foolishly interrupted what dealings were transpiring before you blatantly interrupted. It's too bad because they have a great location and plenty of space - but are you "cool" enough to enter? Let me save you a trip...the answer is no, no you are not "cool" enough, so save your gas. But if you want to see for yourself, by all means...make them work for your hard-earned-money. Give them hell! Oh, and be sure to check their website's prices before you go to this place, as they can be cheaper than what they will try and charge you in-store. First walking in, the open floor space and modernness of the place was a bit unexpected, but while this place is sophisticated and has a high class atmosphere, they aren't snooty. The establishment is very mature, as are the folks working there. I'm new to the vapor thing, and they gave me a really good run down of what I should expect, what I would need to get started, and how it all works. Seriously, I was a complete babe about the whole thing and they took a good measure of time to make sure I was comfortable before I left. I told them I was a tobacco user looking to cull my smoking and, after telling them about my smoking habits, they gave me good number of samples, there in the store, to see what I would like, and all of them were spot on. I could tell they would have kept them coming if I hadn't liked the ones they recommended. It was like talking to the ninety year old fellow working at a cigar shop, they are very serious about their and your knowledge, and making a good decision. They clearly have some high end products in there, but never did they push me to spend more on something. The first vaporizer they showed me was very reasonable, I thought I would be spending more. Again, it reminds me about my first trip to a cigar store, when that ninety year old gentleman told me, "you can grow into that expensive stuff." Still, they were happy to entertain my questions about everything. I will definitely go again. Will admit I got off to a bad start. I just wanted to quit smoking and knew little of vaping. The first employees just kind of stared at me, so I stared right back. It was almost like neither one of us knew what we wanted, or why were there. Then, in swoops Jenn, who efficiently identified my needs and had directed me accordingly. I never once felt like she was trying to "oversell" me into a more expensive piece. I will admit it seems like some of the other employees would be better served as tattooed and pierced furniture, but for all I know, despite their desire to be "unique" they all looked the same, and could have very well been customers. I too, was turned off by the three ring circus of vapor tricks, but Jenn kept me focused on what I wanted to do, which was quit smoking. She was kind, patient, and generous. I went from three packs a day to vaping for a week now, due to the vapor and her invaluable words. She told me to start by "quit buying cigarettes". Put quite simply, if you are new to vaping and annoyed by what seems to be the "vaping culture", ask for Jenn. She changed me from a person about to leave the store into a non-smoker. Will be back. I'm a total vape noob and I was really glad I ended up at Craving Vapor for my first experience. James was incredibly friendly and helpful, and very patient in walking me through everything even though it was close to closing time. He showed me several different devices, along with the pros & cons of each and asked me lots of questions to make sure I ended up with the best fit for my vaping needs. There was no pressure, no pulling out the top of the line models and pushing them on someone who wouldn't know any better, which I've heard of happening at other shops (and believe me, I'm clueless enough about vaping to make an easy mark). All in all, honest, laid back, friendly & helpful staff. They had a good variety of flavors, some in-house, some from different purveyors. The in-house juices were delicious - I walked away with a couple of flavors, above & beyond the the choice of house juice that's included with the purchase of a device. First of all, be sure to check their online website prices before you go to the store, as they will try and charge you more than what they charge online. Make sure they honor the online prices because they won't bring this up unless you mention it, short of having to actually prove it on your phone. When you do go into their store, don't expect to be treated well if you are new at vaporizing. The staff members that I saw were pretty damn rude, and it was a disappointment. Especially the lanky tatted guy with the blown-out earlobes - what a JERK! He made me feel like I was being rushed and pretty much pushed me out the door once I stated I was in for just a simple accessory But he wasn't the only one. I witnessed another customer asking for help treated rudely because she didn't know what she was talking about and was requesting information about the items she was going to buy. Craving Vapor has really gone downhill. When they first opened, the staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I used to love coming here. Over the last few months, they've gotten progressively less helpful and more listless. Now, the employees often don't even get up from the couch when we come in; they're seemingly content to just sit around producing enormous clouds of vapor and ignoring customers (seriously, the crazy, thick clouds that hang in the place as the staff vapes are pretty ridiculous and off putting to any attempts at trying new flavors). After yet another negative experience today wherein the employees just sort of vaguely pointed to a case and grunted without getting up when asked about products, I won't be back. There are far too many vape shops in town now to tolerate bad customer service, and the higher end brands that used to be hard to find elsewhere are popping up everywhere now. Gotta hand it to the guys at craving vapor for giving one heck of a warranty combined with excellent customer service for my unregulated box mod purchase. Specifically Ian from the day that I established contact with him took extra steps in resolving my issue and keeping in contact with me, informing me along every step of the way. In a market that has recently exploded it's truly nice to be able to find a company that offers a very high end product without any worries of a device failure, their lifetime warranty has always been a draw to me but again the extra steps taken by Ian and this company have really turned me into a craving vapor hexohm customer for life! Dealt with them since I started going to a regular shop and passed the beginner stages. Jake and Dom helped me out multiple times. The rewards program is awesome, and the house juice is great. If you are going to a different shop, stop and come here because they care about their customers. Always have tried to help me, one even hooked me up with his tank because he got a new one with no cost, and have gotten multiple complimentary juices without having to use my points. First off, i'd like to say, i have a very limited amount of funds, so i don't always purchase anything when visiting my local vape shops. but i love window shopping or buying a minimal purchase. Every so often i purchase more higher end items. With that in mind i wanna say i love the place. It's big, it's inviting, and while i tend to loiter more than purchase, the staff is always welcoming/helpful and are never bothered by my presence. The store itself is well lit, and the shop has a great selection of juices(including their cloud rat line), mods, atomizers, and accessories. Lastly, the big kicker....it's the only shop with a massage chair. Every time i leave i feel so good i reenact the final few seconds from Breakfast Club. Can't ask for much more. read more

Couldn't have been a better experience. These folk are experts. I told them that I was new to vaping, and was beginning the process of quitting smoking. Jennifer, the General Manager went well out of her explain the differences and both advantages and disadvantages of particular products. She demonstrated how the "come apart" and go back together. I love this shop! I was referred by a friend, and I'm sure glad I stopped by. I have a few Vape shops closer to me but wanted to dabble in some new juice varieties. I was pleasantly surprised by their selection. The shop is designed well, and inviting. I really like the way their juice is displayed. They also carry my FAVORITE juice, and it's so hard to find! I started talking to Ian (I hope that's how you spell his name) about a tank problem I was having. I am new to vaping and I have tried a couple of places in town and did not have a very good experience with any of them. I went to craving vapor and the staff made me feel rite at home instantly. Hayden and Frank are who have helped me out the couple of times that I have been there now. These guys have been very professional, knowledgeable and patient in helping a newcomer like me. I will definitely be a regular customer there from now on and I would highly recommend this place to anyone from a newbie like me to a seasoned veteran. Absolutely love this place! The staff is extremely knowledgable and will walk you through every step. I'm not very familiar with vaping but the staff was very patient with me and explained things to me on a beginners level. They have a wide variety of premium liquids and even sell their own mod called the Hexohm! Best vapor shop I've been to by far, always greeting you upon entering but never in your face asking too many questions. The staff are knowledgeable and kind. I recently went in for my favorite "in-house" juice (Red vs Blue) and was also in need of a new coil for my mini pro tank II, he just gave me coil for free. I never have a problem with the juice expiring too quickly Found these guys when I was tired of going into other stores (ION) and had to wait on employees to help me out. Fuck. This. Dump. Complete shit hole with uber shitty employees. When calling for directions, the worker on the phone acted like he could give 2 shits about a new customer coming in to bring new business. Once inside, it got worse. The three "workers" behind the counter never once were helpful, and acted like I was putting them out by trying to purchase something. Who cares if they are tatted up? I certainly don't. Well I guess the bad reviewers below were pissed off at the world the days they went in to the shop. This place has the most chill vibe with extremely helpful employees - tattoos, gauges and all. I've been to other vape stores in and out of Austin, encountering many weirdos and jerks alike who think they're so cool with this whole smoking apparatus gig, but never at this store. Every time I go in here, I make a new friend because they have an awesome back drop of juice with TVs in front where they can basically play you any song you want to hear and make a dance party out of it. When it comes to having the best mods on the market, Craving Vapor has them. They also have a killer premium juice selection. When I have had a rough day, and I need juice, I'll go in there, talk it up with the employees a little, and sit in their massage chair while I vape. They have a lounging area, but it would be cool is they had more available seating so you could sit a while and enjoy your new juices or taste new juices. I received hands down the best customer service that I've received in a long time! Being that I called not knowing much about what I needed, IAN was an incredible resource! ! Super knowledgeable not to mention friendly as well. I was purchasing a gift and wanted it to be perfect! I made multiple calls to the shop where Ian explained what each part did, what would make it better, which parts I needed and what I could manage without.
