We were served COLD FOOD. We were so excited to come here while on mini-vacation. Ordered the snow crab. EVERYTHING was cold, the corn tasted rubbery. The crab shells were rubbery, crab meat was cold, you don't get enough food for your money. The managers way to resolve the issue was to re-heat the food which is probably the problem to begin with. We sat so close to the kitchen that I'm still confused as to why none of our food was fresh/hot. Seafood is too expensive for it to not be good and fresh. read more

Just had 2 lbs of their spicy Crawfish. Could've gone extra spicy, but spicy was good!!! Included sausage, onions, and mushrooms! Closest to real Cajun I've had!! Flavor was AMAZING!!! They were cooler than I like, temperature wise, but Angelique said just ask for em hotter. They let the spice absorb in...which was obvious as they had an amazing flavor! Floors are still sticky, men's restroom had no AC which only intensified the putrid overpowering smell of urine I had to try and hold my breath trying to wash my hands, I have never come across restroom this bad. This place has so much potential. It doesn't lack in taste of food but it's the cleanliness and customer service that needs improvement. Your host is the face of your organization. The young lady seems very grouchy which is no way to greet guest and had her head in her phone and didn't even realized we were even there. Once seated I went to go use the restroom and it was FILTHY. Not one toilet was flushed and had feces sitting it it. I asked the host to have it cleaned and it was cleaned in matter of minutes. The young gentleman that took our order (Mexican male) seemed irritated. I had questions about the menu. It was not visible on our phone using the scan code given (I have the latest iPhone). I was given a paper menu by the host which was helpful. The waiter came back to take order and several times he rolled his eyes which I felt was very inappropriate. I attempted to order the gumbo but they didn't have it but it was in the menu. We ordered the NOLA oysters (dried out), the Rockefella oysters (I highly recommended), fried shrimp (cost over a $1 for one on the extra list) 4lbs of crab legs with spicy (the sauce was tasty) and it came with potatoes and corn. I asked for butter to dip my crab legs in and the waiter told me to dip it on the sauce. I asked for it again and he said for every purchased butter there will be a .50 cent charged. I asked why considering I have never been charged for butter in any other restaurant and he told me and I quote "due to covid19 and low business we had a to charge for things to make up for the money lost". I understand that we are in a pandemic but to keep customers coming you have to provide good customer service along with the good food not penny pinch items such as butter. The waiter came over 7 times (I counted) and never asked to refill our cups of sprite and AFTER I made a mess on my shirt (it's impossible to keep clean while eating crab legs) he offered me a bib. I kindly declined considering my shirt was already a hot messy mess. For 4lbs of crab legs, 2 dozen oysters, 10 fried shrimp and 3 cups of sprite I paid $156. They are over priced relatively compared to other seafood restaurants in the area. I have it a 2 star due to the crab legs and Rockefeller oysters but everything else could use some improvement. read more

Being from Louisiana, I was super impressed by the boiled crawfish here! It really hit the spot when I was missing my favorite food from back home. I went around 6pm on a Thursday and there was no wait for a table, although business did pick up shortly after we were seated. My partner and I ordered 6lbs of medium spiced crawfish and it was amazing. My partner wished we had gone up a little on the spice, but I liked the medium myself. I think the mild spice would've been too bland, so definitely go for at least medium if you like a little kick! It was more garlicky than the seasoning I'm used to back home, but no complaints there - who doesn't love garlic? It was definitely pricey compared to what we are used to as well, but that was to be expected. It was about $10/lb when we went. The service was quick and as a total indie pop music fiend, I was also in love with the playlist they were bumping when I was there. Initially, I wasn't impressed with the presentation of the restaurant. I understand we are going to a pandemic, it smells like mildew inside the restaurant..first red flag. Host greeted promptly. Here comes the issue..my husband ordered the shrimp tacos -- cold to tortillas and undercooked fries. My food came out dry and almost cold.. like it's been sitting out under a heat lamp for a minute. We also ordered shrimp and crab legs for our kids, we not only noticed that the shrimp and legs lacked their usual taste.. but some of the legs sure didn't have meat! This place has pretty good crawfish when in season. The crawfish comes with potatoes and corn and are a decent size (when in season). Good prices as well. They have plenty of beer to choose from. If you want something eclectic and different to go to though, this isn't the place. Bland restaurant with an open floor plan. Absolutely horrible. I am not trying to be rude, but it was literally one of the worst meals I have ever had. The crawfish we ate were sitting and saturated in oil; Which confuses me. Couldn't even finish them after paying 9.99 a lb!!! My kids got the popcorn shrimp and you could have literally threw them against the wall and left a hole in it. We also got the shrimp diablo and the shrimp were also extremely overcooked. Don't even get me started on the oysters we got, which were also OVERCOOKED. This place has had plenty of time to fix their "bugs" in the system. They've failed, miserably. That was the worst restaurant experience I've had in a very long long time. Place was barely half full & now I know why. Waited at the front for well over what would ever be remotely described as acceptable, while staff after staff ignored us and didn't say a word, or even say "we'll be right with you" as they sauntered by holding nothing in their hands. Finally sat by the busser, with no menus, or any greeting at all. Wife finally got pissed enough to go grab us our own menus. The previous reviews about the service being a hit or miss were partially accurate with my visit. We walked in and there was a couple already waiting to be greeted. We stood for about 3 minutes before someone acknowledged us. Once seated, our server was Justin. He did a great job and was very courteous. Our food was delicious! I am a Louisiana native so its prob not fair to say it not as good as we get back home, but its not as good as back home. Crawfish have a good flavor but they are soaked in butter and garlic and have too much going on. The level of spicy just means they put more seasoned butter on them. Like I said, good flavor but don't expect LA style. I also ordered blue crab and they were not fresh so the meat was mushy and not fresh. I walked in the restaurant and felt welcomed. The female server was courteous. My date was running late. I finally ordered the crawfish and decided to wait for her on the patio. The staff was very accommodating. My date finally arrived. Before we knew it the manager said that we had been there over an hour after closing time and needed to close up. Where to start, Hostess and waiter were kind and helpful.... thats about it. The Crawfish, horrible, over seasoned and laying in a pool of mush. All were tiny to say the least, market price should be for market size, no for tiny bottom of the bag Crawfish. Seemed that in my 3 lbs I ordered over 50% of them were either dead when thrown in(straight tail/mush body) a lot more than I have ever seen in my 20+ years of ordering and cooking them myself. Also had a lot the already had the tail gone, ripped off. Hopefully this is not an indication of them throwing left overs back in. I pray not. The environment is OK at best, I did not finish my meal and ended up leaving Well that was Saturday afternoon, now Sunday I have been incapacitated sick, food poisoning for sure. I knew I should not have eaten them when they came out, me, not being the one to complain at all went ahead.
