Would give negative stars to this restaurant if possible. The waitress lie about several things and provided horrible service. Here a list of what took place: -3% surcharge if you use a debit or credit card - The waitress said that the menu says "that groups of 5 or more they charge 20% gratuity." Which it does not say based off the pictures presented below. -She claimed we were there before when we came from out of town for a work trip, and began to have an attitude. -Says she would not serve us alcohol (looks like the liquor license was taken away). -Argues that we all have to pay on one bill, and claims that it's on the menu. A great place to satisfy your craving. I was waiting in the area while my car was in the shop so first thing show up by Yelp was this place, i when in for breakfast I ordered the huecos rancheros for $8.99 and a coffee. The ranchero salsa different then the traditional they have their own way and test good but nothing spicy. The papas are great and the beans were delicious maybe because I love beans. My final bill was $12 and cents. The service is great & music is at the right volume so you can talk to your friends at the table without any issues. read more

Just around the corner of Fiesta sits this little Mexican restaurant that is super affordable, fast service, and has one of the best burgers you can find so close to IH 35....in addition to their Mexican food too! Breakfast is served all day and the portions here are large! I remember when this was a Texadelphia back in the day and you can tell with the wooden panels on the walls. No margaritas here, as someone else mentioned, but they do have bottled beers and several specials on them just be sure to ask what they got. Heads up they BudLight, Budweiser, and other domestic and non-domestic beers. Just do not expect to find local or craft beers here. There is a dedicated clientele that come here so you will find some nice friendly regulars eating especially in the mornings on the weekend. It can get a little crowded on Sundays but plenty of space outside to hang out until your name is called. I highly recommend the al pastor tacos or plate as Mariana's just nails the bright red color along with great flavor. I like their carne guisada as well on corn tortillas. But the burger is where it is at! They just do it right and is super inexpensive as well (under $7 for a hamburger and fries). First off, WARNING, they DO NOT serve liquor here, which means NO MARGARITAS. The salsa they serve is homemade, but has way too much jalapeños and is too liquified. I ordered the Deluxe Plate, which comes with a cheese enchilada, tamale, taco, and a chalupa. When my food arrived, I was surprised with how good the food was! I come here 2 to 3 times during the week and average $20-$30 per takeout. When I come during the week I've never had a problem but on weekends there seems to be an issue here, last week they were out of sausage for the Huevos rancheros, the week before my Carne guisada tacos the meat was petrified like a rock. I always order a large queso or a large guacamole salad with my takeout. Since I get these two items to go quite often I know what to expect I'm always given a medium size bag of chips and today I was given a very small bag usually during the week there's a very tall and slender gentlemen working the Togo area and he always packs my orders togo. Today when I got my guacamole salad, I questioned why my chips were so small and I was told that just the way they come and again I mentioned I get this 2 to 3 times per week and I'm never giving such a small bag so I asked for a refund and Johnny was working at making it right by giving me a bigger bag. And i need to mention today as I waited for my order to get processed a young lady named jasmine who's heavily tattooed was wearing a very low-cut revealing blouse, out of all the waitresses she dresses like she about to work the streets no other staff members dresses so provocatively, she was extremely unprofessional she spent most of her time talking and gossiping with another waiter named Johnny about unprofessional things like her chichi's hurting and making sexual innuendos as to why they're hurting. I've had her as a waitress before in the past and she makes you wait extended periods of time before coming and checking on you, now I know why she's busy getting Red Bulls to drink and gossiping about inappropriate unrelated work matters and I saw her grabbing food with her bare hands without washing, sanitizing or wearing gloves so I am going to be making a report against her and the business with DHS Public Health Sanitation Program. As I'm waiting for Johnny to give me my chips this young woman takes it upon herself to say I don't have to be rude I wasn't being rude I was just questioning as to why things are different I mention I get the same order 2 to 3 times per week and I have never been given such a small bag of chips. And from their things escalated I told her I didn't ask for her opinion and then she got bitchy with me and started going off, so I went off on her in return. If you get this heavily tattooed young lady named Jasmine avoid her because she's too busy gossiping and talking about her Chi-Chi's hurting and sticking her nose into other peoples conversations when it's a A and B conversation and needs to learn how to C, her way out. And improving her waitress skills like refilling teas or coffees or seeing to what her customer needs. Versus gossiping and looking for ways not to work you can tell she does a half ass job as a waitress and does the bare minimum. I was walking to the closest restaurant while my car was getting serviced at Maxwell Ford. Came up on this wonderful stop. Breakfast all day. Or Mexican food. Had a very good chorizo and egg taco. Quick service. They didn't have Decaf coffee so I tried a Mexican Hot Chocolate. Highly recommend this! Better than any Starbucks concoction. I ordered the Mexican Omelet. Wasn't sure what that meant... so let me tell you. It has diced pepper tomato and onion in the eggs. And comes with tortilla. Definitely the way to go. I'm usually not a fan of rice. So the waitress recommended potatoes. They were great. The only major issue I had was not enough salt. But you can always add salt! Which I did. Then everything tastes great. The cheese was a little heavy on the omelet. Like just a slice of cheese. But the Ham was very good. It's nicer than a diner the ambiance is sort of like a bar. Lots of wood. Small kitchen. The corn tortillas were excellent. Try them. Everything else was just bad. We were greeted and seated quickly and then it all slowed down to some of the oddest service. All the tables around us got chips and salsa right away but we had to ask. The waiters hung out by these groups, probably knowing those families. That's great but we got the short end of the stick in service. My order was wrong and came out much later than my friend's. Also he got a drink refill but I was ignored. The chips and salsa we had to request came out at about the same time as the entrees. What did we order? I had the wrong enchiladas and he had something I don't recall because I was already upset with the bad experience. Newest change***As of 8/1/22, they are now charging for chips and hot sauce $1.50 and $1 for each addl basket of chips. I won't be coming back. Lately there servers have been very lazy too. Your lucky if they come back in between delivering food and leaving the ticket. And trying to be nice when leaving the bill is not going to increase my tip. A few years since my last update. I haven't been to this location in quite some time but there's definitely a reason. The food quality has remained the same but I will mention the customer service here isn't the greatest (I'm referring to two waitresses in particular). The management doesn't seem to care much about this which is why Mariana's isn't my go-to anymore. If I do dine here (which is rare these days) I prefer to have Mariana's son's serve me as they are friendly and have excellent customer service. I don't know the two ladies names but they could definitely do a better job in providing consistent customer service to all their customers (not just the Spanish speaking ones). read more

Standard Tex-Mex fare. Our plates came out at different times. There seems to be a lot of juggling going on in the kitchen and if you sit at the bar you can see why. It was fun to watch all the viejitas hustling, frying, and refrying in the kitchen. I have a feeling this place will do well because of its old clientele and the location. The Deluxe plate is good if you want a little taste of everything. It came with a crispy taco, guacamole salad, one chalupa, one tamal, cheese enchilada, rice and beans., Did I mention that it comes in two huge plates? What was I thinking? My husband loves this place. Thus, I have been here quite often. I, however, am not as big of a fan. The prices are great! They have great lunch specials. The food is alright. I think the thing I enjoy the most are the french fries, kinda sad isn't it? Everything here is just average. The service is about the same. Nothing exceptional. I thought I would give it another shot and took my husband. It was over 45 minutes before my husband received his tacos and about 10 more minutes for mine. Absolutely love this place!. Mariana's has become a weekend tradition for my little family. We go there about once a week , My daughter frequently requests Mariana's breakfast because they are so darn good, and the closest yet to a good home cooked breakfast. We have also came for lunch which is also delish. The staff are all amazing I can't say enough good things about them all. Very awesome family feel with them all. The food is always on point and at a very reasonable price about $1.85 or less. Plates range in price I love the chorizo & Egg plate which is about $6ish. Not too shabby. Lunch is also very good, I have tried to enchiladas and carne guisada so far. Both very good in flavor. They are self seating when you walk in, And will approach you in no time to give you menu's on top of taking your beverage orders for starters. This place I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone to try at least once, that's all it will take to get you hooked. read more

I came by for breakfast one morning with a group of 4 people. It was breakfast time so when we walked in their sing read, "Seat yourself" We sat down and when we walked in we noticed no one welcomed us to the restaurant. There were a couple of servers walking around plus the kitchen help and we could see them all as we walked in. Now, the place is big with a high sealing. Also, it's nicely decorated with Mexican hats and family pictures and pictures of their old location. My review will be fair based on what our group had to eat. 2 of us had their migas plate, 2 other people had their machacado plate. We all talked about our experience and we agreed the food had flavor. Our plates came to our table almost room temperature while the tortillas came nice and hot. The potatoes they serve are called "papas guisadas" which come with tomatoe liquid. They were OK except the plate didn't get but maybe 3 or 4 on the plate. We had coffee to drink. The server never checked on us to ensure everything was OK. Also, we sat there until we requested our check. The server NEVER asked if we wanted anything else. I know this is a family run restaurant but I think they need major training in restaurant/business etiquette. Prices are OK ($7 or $8 a plate). As I said, I liked the flavor of the food. Kudos to Mariana the cook. The servers need to invest in server training if they want to compete with other local restaurants in the area. read more
