Used to be a fan, not so much anymore. We came here for one thing and one thing only and that was the crawfish. The prices were unbeatable. After the second time of ordering to-go orders and having mushy crawfish, missing potatoes and corn and then rude responses from the "owner", we haven't been back. I was asked how my food was and when I told him that we were missing corn and potatoes, he told me that they "ran out". This is the THIRD time now. The other two times were when we dined in and they had no ranch dressing, lids for cups, macaroni and cheese or banana pudding. His excuse was also - "we ran out". Now after hearing about the owner leaving fake reviews on Tortilla's Mexican Restaurants page seals the deal. I'd try Guidry's, Crazy Alan's Swamp Shack or eat at the Bacliff location. They get you in the door by offering four pounds of crawfish for $20.00. Then they add on for every little thing. Overpriced and terrible service. Working in the area so I decided to go with a local place , Google maps said it was BBQ and the reviews were for the most part good. Looks dingy from the outside but that's the area, nice outdoor area if it was sunny and warm, it's 44 right now and to me that's patio weather but not in Texas for locals. I was super excited to try this place. But was not impressed at all. The server considering being by himself did fine/ But it's super hot in dining room. I waited a very very long time for my meal. At least 30 min, was told it's because y'all have All you can eat, which we did not get... yet we had to wait for? My daughter still didn't get her complete meal after waiting that long and still got charged and had to be corrected. For $80 I honestly expected so much more. First of all let me say Wooooooooowwwwwww! You know I can tell you if you are looking for some good juicy, hot and tasty crawfish. You need to check this place out. It's super good. Just the right amount of spicy ness. You can bring your own beer, really good spot. I can't wait to bring my fiancé here. We just moved in the area, it's perfect. Customer service was amazing, didn't get the ladies name but she was very attentive on making sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. Food came out really quickly, and it was fresh. Highly disappointed! We drove from La Marque TX expecting quality food and service. I convinced my husband this was the restaurant I wanted for Mother's Day. The establishments air conditioning wasn't working, the customers were fanning of flies of there plates. It smelled like a sewer. Just ate here for the first time and we couldn't be happier! My wife had brisket that was probably the most tender moist fall apart brisket this Texas boy has ever had. I had a crawfish queso burger that did NOT disappoint! Our waitress was an absolute delight helping us work through the menu and being quick to meet our needs. If you're visiting Galveston, it's worth the little drive north. It was better than the meal we had on the island last night that was quite a bit more expensive. The only good thing about this place is the crawfish. Back of the house does great at making all their food. The front staff is just terrible. I'm pretty sure they are all in high school, which nothing wrong with that, but you can tell they don't know what they're doing and they don't want to be there. If you have a party of more than 6, be prepared to wait at least an hour. The girls couldn't give us an estimated time. They said they didn't want to put tables together and we had to wait for the one big table to be done with their food. Maybe they just need more training, but it would just be best to pick up the food vs eating there. read more

Don't order endless shrimp you will go hungry between re orders 7 shrimp on an order 30 mins later ask about your reorder then wait longer try to reorder so you don't want to wait another 30 min for 7 shrimp then manager says you cant te order till you finish your order.
