This is an outstanding burger! One of the best I have experienced in greater Houston. Period. The meat is perfectly seasoned and griddled. The vegetables are fresh. The bun is nicely grilled. And the tots served alongside this masterpiece were hot -- crunchy on the outside with a fluffy interior. Service here is at the counter, and the lady who took our order was very friendly. Durb's is a new comer to the area, a hole in the wall you might miss in a common strip center. however the interior has a garden/industrial chic vibe i didnt expect! this place is known for its smash burger, which my partner raved about. not many choices for gluten free (no lettuce wrap, no gf bun) so i settled on the special frito pie. the chili was rich and flavorful with home made queso on top. it was missing some pizazz though, some chopped red onion and jalapeños would go a long way. drink prices were slightly high (2.50 for a 12 oz gatorade). service was pretty fast. we will be back if ever in the area! next to try is the elote dog which looked delicious. read more

We went there to try their burgers and we found out that they are all double cheeseburgers of some variation. My wife didn't want a double so asked for a single patty burger. We also didn't want cheese so had that taken off. There was no reduction in price in either instance. We paid $4.00 for an order of fries (about 1.5 times the size of a McDonald's small order) that should have been about $2.50. This place is just too expensive for what you get. Our total cost for the two burgers, one order of fries and two bottled waters was right at $34.00. We can get the same or better for cheaper at other places around the lake. read more

They are not your typical smash, much thicker than you'd expect. The burgers are a bit greasy as well. Just grab a few extra napkins. Fries are seasoned great and cooked perfectly. And that's saying something because him and I are usually really picky when it comes to food and don't like a lot of restaurants because we find the food lacking in flavor. But we both loved it, the lady who rang us up and brought us our food was super sweet and had amazing customer service. Was super helpful in answering all of our questions and helping accommodate our needs. The area they're located in isn't the nicest but that's had no effect on the business and their cheerful and friendly vibe. Everyone's gotta start somewhere.
