After speaking with family, we decided that we are going to sell the house and cancelled the order for the garage door and instead asked Mike to replace the weather stripping on the Garage Door. Mike quoted me $500 for replacing the weather stripping and also said that he didn't charge me for repairing a spring and fixing rails on my door and said that I owed him $250 for labor. I agreed to his labor charge and asked him to return the remaining $750 of my deposit which he also agreed to. He sent me a Zelle for $700 the next day and when I questioned him about the remaining $50, he said that he "figured" out that I owed him additional $50. He was making charges as he went along. Also, he will just buy an opener from Home Depot and tell you that it is a professional series garage door opener when it actually is not. Be aware of this guy he talks sweet but will try to rip you off & upsell you. Make sure you shop around. I would not recommend him. I honestly laid out my entire story for the potential customers. I used them twice and can no longer recommend them, I would avoid and look elsewhere. On the second…read morevisit they replaced a spring, I complained it was noisy on opening and was told to "give it a while and let it settle" and that we have 90 day warranty they would come back out if it didn't improve. When they came back out (because it was still noisy) they said I need new rollers and cables. We declined to have the work done immediately to get other estimates and they tried charging a $45 service fee (for a warranty check). They then threatened to place a lien if we did not pay the $45. Actually insane thing to threaten, over $45 when we have paid them nearly $2,000 for work over the past year. In summary, their prices are high, their warranty is sad (most reputable garage door companies will give 1 year minimum) and their business practices are unethical and unprofessional.
