I think this place is really cool, we just made the mistake of going on a Saturday. There are tons of neat things here and activities, but for a 16 month old the options were limited. I would go back, but only if it was on a weekday that I knew a majority of local kids were in school. I don't know if it was the amount of people in there or what, but it was blazing hot inside. This place is filthy and I would never bring my child here again. The bathrooms are toxic and nobody is cleaning up. The main attractions are a mess. Some climbing/play attractions says "no shoes" but nobody follows that rule and the staff looks the other way. The "attraction" lines are at least 15mins wait-time (weekday) and the activity itself is over in a minute. This place should be shut down. It is damaging to the Crayola brand. read more

We took the twins to Crayola today. It was a pleasant surprise to see they have changed and updated some of the activities since we went lest year. This place is still just fantastic. From the demonstration of how the crayons are made, the giant water table and the play area. The price initially seems expensive until you realize they give you two dollars in tokens to use for some of the paid activities like making a custom crayon or marker or for play doh. My favorite is where the kids color adrawing on a terminal and it is projected on the wall. read more

We spent the day at Crayola, yes a long day. It was chaotic! There were at least 6 camp groups...all arriving at the same time. Each interactive activity had huge lines. We waited 40 minutes to pay in the gift shop. The floors were packed with people. I began wondering if it was a fire hazard. There was no crowd control. The Crayola Experience was more entertaining than I expected. My boyfriend and I were taking a road trip and decided to stop by after we saw an exit sign for the Crayola Factory. I think I would have given this place 5 stars had it not been for the sick coughing kids and parents who let their kids run around shoving and pushing other people (which I know Crayola had no control over). If you're looking for something for you and the kids to do that's budget friendly in Orlando with lots to do then definitely take a trip to Crayola Experience! The admission price is REASONABLE ($24.99 for anyone 3 and up, but check Groupon for slightly cheaper price). WOW what a place. I took my 2 year old and 5 year old and they had a blast. You can definitely spend HOURS here there are a lot of activities for the little ones to do and enjoy. The kids created their own crayons, took pictures, used tablets to make funny emojis of their faces, and so much more! They have a cafe where you can stay for lunch and a movie theater which shows movies every hour or two (we had just missed the 12:30p.m. show the next one didn't start until 2:30). They have 2 play areas ones for toddlers and another huge one for the older kids. Just a great place for kids! What's even better is if you want to leave and roam the mall you can always re-enter for FREE (they have to stamp your hands). Just a fun experience I wish they had this in my city! read more

But aside from that, there was no hand sanitizer stations, the surfaces didn't look clean and there was nobody cleaning anything that I saw. We took a total of 5 kids ages 9-13 and the all really enjoyed it. Thankfully it wasn't crowded on Election Day and they could do everything without a long wait. Plan ahead to get about $2-3 in extra tokens per kid at check-in if you plan to spend time in the Model Magic area b.c. One color will be boring. Our highlight was the 4th floor melting area, doodle in the dark, and the playground! I was glad that there wasn't anyone doing the sand art, fabric art, etc. Because that would have been pricey for 5 kids, after already paying admission. Came here with my niece (6) and nephew (4) and they LOVED IT! This place is perfect for kids around this age and maybe a little older, maybe up to 12ish would enjoy it. We had tickets from my nephews birthday that happened to be expired. Despite this, the manager was super helpful and gave us a discount to get in as well as extra tokens. It costs about $20 pp to get in and kids under 3 are free. First responders and teachers are also free. On Tuesdays teachers and their immediate family get in for a cheaper price. When you pay for your ticket you get a clear crayola bag and a few tokens. You'll need the bag for all the cool things you gather on each level and the tokens are used to make your own crayons etc. We came here on a Thursday at 1:30 and it was the perfect day and time. It was crowded but not overly crowded. We didn't have to wait in lines for long, there were plenty of friendly workers to help us and we had plenty of space and supplies at each area. I can imagine mornings and weekends are probably insane and highly annoying here! There was one big camp group while we were there but we tried to stay away from them as they were loud and held things up lol. There are 4 levels all with a variety of things to do (make art with melted crayons, create your own crayon in a race car or ring shape, climb through play areas, a large water table with boats, make your own coloring pages, mold with clay and the list goes on and on). There's lots of extra stuff to buy/ do on each floor. We bought glitter tattoos, some ice cream, paid for some arcade games and did a gem activity and that's pretty much all we spent as far as extras once inside. You don't have to spend extra and still have a great time. We bought a few souvenirs at the store and two pretzels at the cafe. All in all it was a great day and we all had a blast for four people it was about $160 total including tickets, parking and gas. The garage next to the place charges $3 an hour 5 am to 5 pm and $1 for each hour after that. We were here about 1:30-5:30 so make sure you have time! The only negatives are that it was uncomfortably hot in most areas of the building. I don't know if the ac wasn't working or if they always just have fans on but we felt super uncomfortable in more crowded areas and waiting in lines. The other negative were the two pretzels we bought at the cafe. I paid about $4 and change for each pretzel and they were totally stale and gross. I thought about returning them and complaining but I was starving lol! Other than that it's a really cool place to visit and I'd recommend it :) read more

We drove 4.5 hours each way to come visit just the crayola experience. My kids ages 5,10 loved it! Definitely no need to do it again- but my 10 year old thinks it was worth the long drive. The price per person is extremely high for what you get. Some activities were closed due to covid- wish the price would have reflected that. Customer service was eh, couldn't find my ticket in the bag for the scrubbles activity and seeing that we had 3/4 tickets as we had four people they made us go downstairs and get another ticket instead of just seeing the obvious that we lost a ticket or the bag didn't have one and giving it to us. Hard to find anyone to help with a question- looks short staffed. I wouldn't drive the distance again to go - but glad we went as the kids loved it! I love bringing my kids here for a day trip! There's a parking garage within a quick walk to the entrance. Prices are fairly reasonable for what you're being offered. There are add ons that must be paid separately. They have a huge gift shop. They have a cafeteria. It's not overly huge and the food is average. If you bring your own stuff be aware you aren't allowed to sit inside. There are so many cute activities for kids to participate in. Highly recommend for smaller kids. read more

While the staff tried their best, I was shocked at how rude some of the adult patrons were. I live in the same city so we go often. The pros are that it's close, it's safe, there are options for each age group, and the gift shop has great prices. The cons are that it's often exceptionally crowded (esp on the weekend or end of school season when it's packed with field trips), there could be a lot more for the under 5 group (our favorite room, the dark room has been removed) And it's pretty dirty honestly , which is my biggest issue. There's a LOT of dust and dirt in between and on all of the kid objects, playplaces, and light up wall. Absolutely the worst experience of my life. We have been members for years and this was our first visit since the pandemic. Staff extremely rude and does not accommodate. Lines are very big and dont moves super slow bc the staff is very lazy. My kids have dietary restrictions so I brought small snack. They wouldn't let me bring it in or at least just leave it my my bag. They ask me to either buy a locker or go back to my car which was parked 15 min away from crayola bc they dont have parking. They told me it's an allergy issue yet I had only fuits and cheese sticks!! Yet they were selling snickers with almond and peanut and other allergen inside this place!!!In all, really very disappointing. A shame I will not renew my membership anymore after being a member for couple of years. This place is definitely falling apart. Would not recommend at all read more

Need to work on the entrance. You have folks waiting to purchase tickets and another group of people trying to get in. It gets all jammed up and creates a nightmare for everyone. This place is four floors high and it gets really tight when you have a lot of people visiting. I would recommend that you come during the week cause on a weekend because you (or the child you came with) will never get to experience anything. Parking is available on the street or across the street. I paid around $8 to 12 bucks per visit. Didn't try the food at Crayola but you can go visit other restaurants in the area by foot. read more

This place gets straight up PACKED but they keep things moving. I didn't think you could build an attraction around a crayon, but they did it. The crowd, however, was UNRELENTING, but we went on a summer Saturday so thats to be expected. Honestly, when we saw the 2 level play area, we quickly said "Oh! Especially the custom crayon wrappers and painting with melted crayons. Only took a couple of hours to get to from Connecticut. We parked on the street that had two hour parking. Overall a fun place for little kids but as many of the reviewers said, it does get very crowded. We were there almost the whole day and I really can't say that a certain part of the day was any less crowded. Seemed very busy all day. For reference, we went on a Friday at the end of the summer and arrived shortly after opening. Many of the activities are fun and my kids had a great time which is why I still give 4 stars. It was just exhausting and we spent a lot of time waiting.The worst was the cafe, the line didn't look terribly long when we walked in but it took forever to get our food and pay for it. They only had ONE person at the register and she was trying to do other tasks as well so she'd disappear every few minutes. Definitely make other plans for food. read more

Had a great time playing and making art at crayola today. It was super crowded because we didn't factor in....day camps but with 4 floors of things to do it is easy to find space for yourself. It was clean and the staff were very nice. We got there before opening so we were in first. Luckily kids 3 and under are free because there isn't that much for them tondo that doesn't involve standing in line for a while but the indoor playgrounds are allot of fun. My 5 yr old had a blast and loved naming crayons and doing all the activities we will definitely be back....during the school year when it's not as crowded. read more

went with my child when she was young. ended up in easton for a bit waiting on some friends so i decided to go back without the daughter and the new husband who had never been. we had a blast! we got to play at all the stations, made our hot wax creations, drew on the giant sidewalk, played in the huge color changing monitor thing, we did everything! it was so different not having my own child there to pull me from one exhibit to the next at her pace while being on guard for her safety as all parents are. it was a lot of fun for a little price. read more
