Crazy Billy's has a beautiful selection of Wine & Spirits with very reasonable prices. I had the pleasure of meeting Veronica & Chris who both have great knowledge of directing customers towards the right wine or Spirits they're searching for. The store is well organized and the customer service is 5+ stars. Tastings occur on weekends that are complimentary.

A tasting of Black Irish Original Flavor--the CEO is singer Mariah Carey

Staff tell me that the store has liquor tastings every Friday and/or Saturday evening from 5p to 8p. Please call first before going. Today I tasted the three flavors of Black Irish: Original, White Chocolate and Salted Caramel. Black Irish is a brand whose CEO is the self-professed Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey. The White Chocolate was my favorite especially when it was mixed with the Original upon my special request. The White Chocolate added some much needed body to the Original. I do not recommend the Original on its own. The Salted Caramel was good, but it was too sweet. It would have tasted better if it were sampled with some hot coffee, iced espresso or cold brew. If you happen to be in Deer Park on a weekend evening and want to do some liquor tasting, stop by Crazy Billy's. This store even sells cachaça, which is a Brazilian rum. I saw two brands: Leblon and Pitu. Few liquor stores on Long Island sell cachaça, so I was impressed. Customer service is good. There is also free parking in a side lot.

This is an update from my previous 3 star... great customer service, store is smaller than it was and they carry all the hard to find items you can't find anywhere else. Very knowledgeable staff and they don't bug you as they did in the past Prices are great and they give volume discounts Glad to see how well stocked this store is, if you can't find it anywhere else Crazy Billy will probably most definitely come to the rescue

Just got back, this is our new spot! The prices are great staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Let us tell you, the place is huge, and the aisles feel like I'm walking through a winery. Everything is in order and easy to find. Make sure to check them out!

Big stars for being open on a Sunday! And on December 23rd! Saved me big time. I was throwing a small dinner party and did not realize that it was Sunday (after returning home from a work trip the night before). Not only was Crazy Billy's open but the staff members were ensuring everyone in the store was finding what they were looking for. Every time I went down an aisle someone was asking to help me. Another huge win for Crazy Billy's? They had at least four cashiers waiting to get you going on your way quickly. Nicely done! I'll be visiting again soon. I purchased four bottles of local Long Island wines, two were for out-of-town visitor gifts and two to share with family for Christmas. Cheers!

Having just moved to the 'burbs from Brooklyn, I was in need of a bottle of wine. Or several. Unfortunately, I thought about this around 7:45pm and, by the time I got to the liquor store, it was closed. WTF, suburbs?! Anyways, I made another, successful, sojourn to Crazy Billy's and liked what I saw. They have a pretty extensive wine collection that caters to a broad audience. I did have a hard time finding a decent Rioja amongst the crowded, dusty and mish-mashed Spanish wines shelf but whatever, maybe the demand just isn't here for them. After all, they need to save some shelf space for items like the ones pictured, right? Don't let the name fool you; I expected bargain basement pricing and it was actually pretty standard.

I spoke to a woman in the bathroom and she said even if you don't have a reservation, you can always find a spot on the grass or chairs. There's plenty of room to hang out. Our server Les was incredible! You can tell when you have a great experienced waiter that is truly good at their job and love what they do! Pay him whatever he wants and never let him go! He truly made the dining experience above and beyond. I ordered the Sauvignon Blanc and he asked me if I wanted a glass or a bottle and I told him I couldn't drink a bottle because I had to drive home. He told me if I was gonna have two glasses. It would end up being about equal to the bottle price and that I could take the rest of the wine home! What a nice surprise, and the fact that he pointed out made me feel like he goes above and beyond for his customers! Now let's talk about the food! I was in a party of three and they had ordered the appetizer sandwich for the table which was gigantic! Both of the other guests love the sandwich, but I didn't try it because I do not like prosciutto. The truffle chips were fantastic; I'm still thinking about them and I didn't even know I liked truffle! I ate 90% of them. The portions are massive but in a good way because the food is exceptional! One guest was so full from the sandwich that she opted to not order an entrée I ordered the margarita flatbread and it had to be over a foot and a half long. I ended up taking half home and my husband ate it and said it was delicious as well. The other guest ordered the meatballs and I tasted them and they were quite delicious. By the time the meal was over we left with half a sandwich half a flatbread and some extra meatballs. For dessert: we got a llimoncello flute and I got the largest lemon beautifully presented with lemon sorbet! I told us I don't usually take pictures of my food, but this was photo worthy! The wine was one of my favorite Sauvignon Blanc that I've ever had in my life! We will definitely go back for the food and definitely will be purchasing the wine again! 4/5 food 10/5 for the service and ambience Thank you for a wonderful experience on a beautiful afternoon! Overall, ranking above five just due to the experience

The potato was pretty good took. I didnt mind so much grass (lettuce) for once. The cheese on top of the lettuce is pretty salty but the creamy dressing balances it out. The spicy sauce on the side was way too spicy for me. 3/5 Bavarian pretzel $17- pretzel itself is standard, comes with honey mustard, spicy brown mustard, & mayo sriracha. I liked both of the mustards. 3/5 Meat & cheese board $59- didn't try the meat or bread but comes with grapes, cranberries, dates, olives & nuts. Everything I tried was decent.

Reservations will get you valet parking, a table and chairs and access to various food trucks, live music...And of course WINE!! What started in a small shack in a small vineyard by Barry in 1984, has graduated to this beautiful family run place. Now owned by his granddaughter and her partner, I'm sure he would be proud! The shack still stands and Stephen behind the counter, was super friendly and happy to tell me the story when I asked about the gentleman in the picture. We had flights and purchased two bottles. One to drink there and another to take home! You're allowed to bring your own food (no alcohol) if you wish. We devoured our sandwiches from home and enjoyed the live music duo. What a wonderful, wonderful laid back vibe! Folks' just enjoying the weather, their families and friends. If you have fur babies, they too are welcomed! We absolutely loved it here! We are already making plans to visit again during our upcoming staycation. Family fun, romantic date or just hanging with your besties.... Barry's legacy lives on. Thank me later....

One of the highlights of our visit was sitting in the Adirondack chairs right outside the grapevines; it made for such a relaxing and unique experience. The wine flight was excellent, and we really enjoyed the wines we tasted. The gentleman working during our visit (I wish I had gotten his name) was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. He took the time to answer our questions and made us feel welcome. I also loved learning that they hand-print all of their wine labels and apply them to the bottles themselves. It's those personal touches that really make this place special. The valet parking was also very well organized. When you're ready to leave, you simply click the link that's sent to your phone, and they bring your car around, so you're not waiting forever. There were food trucks on-site, but you can also bring your own food. It's dog-friendly too, which is a nice bonus for pet owners. Who doesn't love dogs?! Overall, we had a wonderful visit and would definitely recommend stopping by if you're looking for a charming, family-run vineyard with a peaceful atmosphere and great wine.
