The winery consistently adds to the enjoyment of my timeshare weeks. My absolute favorite is the wine slushies--I look forward to them every year and couldn't wait for them to return in the spring and summer months. I also highly recommend the wine and cider flights, which are a great way to sample a variety of offerings. The staff and service are outstanding. Megan, in particular, always makes each visit special. She is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely personable, and I always enjoy chatting with her. Her enthusiasm and excellent customer service make the winery an even more enjoyable place to visit. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

We had flights and tasted all of their ciders. Ironically our mutual favorite was a hopped cider. It was literally the only one we liked. At least for now, it seems they should stick to wine. The man working there was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great experience learning about the ciders and speaking with him, just wish they tasted better. They have a little seating area outside that was comfortable and nice to relax at.

Think of this not as a winery as you would in the California style. It's a liqueur tasting that enhances the finer agriculture of Vermont. Ginger liqueur is wonderful- sweet with strong flavors and I already knew it would make wonderful mixed drinks. The chocolate liqueur was delicious as was the apple maple wine. All sweet so go with the perspective of how to enrich a wine based cocktail or a champagne cocktail. If you're a dessert wine lover it's definitely for you. We ended up buying ginger and apple maple. Kim walked us through each sip and went further in recommending a stellar restaurant in nearby Brattleboro. Kim was so friendly and kind to all five of us, even though she was in the midst of a tasting with another group. This didn't effect the attention she showed us in the slightest. We will be ordering their cranberry wine two months from due to how lovely the experience and the taste was. If you're in the area and would like a variety of dry to sweet fruit wines and liqueurs, please stop by and tell Kim hello for us!

The outside is still historically accurate but the inside is completely rebuilt in a post and beam motif. There was a bar, we did trivia, and not to mention the jaw dropping views of the mountains in the distance. Super homey and warm vibe to everything here. The trip was brief - Thursday evening to Sunday, but filled with family and fun. Our niece and (now) nephew selected whiteface hollow for the wedding and reception. whiteface hollow - a fantastic barn + house + winery in South Tamworth, NH. The wedding ceremony was outside, in the field, under a large maple tree, and the reception was in the barn. The property has parking in an open space amid trees... the sky is visible but the trees also provide shading to keep the intense heat off the vehicles. The property has a gentle hillside, leading to the grape vines, with a beautiful view of the White Mountains off in the distance... the view was beautiful in the afternoon and phenomenal with that night's sunset! The owner shared that the barn is original wood - interior... the floors and walls are new boards created when they brought a saw mill onsite to cut the wood from trees on the property. The barn had plenty of room for the 18 tables for guests + a dance floor for all of us.. with space for food, and the bar downstairs, and two spaces upstairs (no walls, but balcony rails). Speaking of the bar... they served inside and also through a window to the outside... the blueberry lemonade is very tasty! The winery isn't producing yet but the building is there, and we enjoyed brunch the next morning - nice! And the painting of the property over the bar is wonderful artwork. The owner and her crew were great... so helpful; we were guests so we didn't have the stress, but we could see things were well planned and executed smoothly. Thank you, whiteface hollow, for such a wonderful wedding + reception for our niece and nephew! ----- ----- -----

But probably one of my least favorite meals I've had in a while. I started with the crab rangoon nachos, and honestly, those were the highlight. Definitely different than I expected, but surprisingly good. For my entrée, I got steak, fries, and Asian slaw. The steak itself was tender, and fries are pretty hard to ruin unless you actively resent potatoes, but the overall flavor was just... weird. Not awful, just a mix of spices or seasoning that didn't really work for me. I wouldn't be excited to order it again. Dessert was a Nutella-stuffed cookie pie thing that I split with a friend, and I swear we almost needed an axe to cut into it. Points for durability, I guess. lmao
