Cute place with good food and friendly service. We had the Irish bennie and country fried steak. Both were delicious. Homemade bread! Would def go back.

Awesome food and friendly staff. It's a great place for breakfast or lunch. Their homemade bread will not disappoint.

That said, the coffee, food, and service are worth it! There are two seating rooms and one of them opens out to restrooms and a very small shopping/business mall. The tables and chairs are thick, heavy, rustic wood reminiscent of a country kitchen, and the acoustics are pretty good! No echoes or a need to yell to friends or family at your own table. The service is stellar! Lots of students work here and they are top notch. The food is outstanding. Their hash browns are literally the best I have ever had. They are wispy and crispy, and will not leave grease on your plate or in your belly. The eggs are always perfect, no matter how you ask for them, and the pancakes are the best you can get without making them yourself at home. They are served with a syrup, but for $2.00 extra (at the time of this posting), you can get real maple syrup instead. By the way, their coffee is not limited to regular and decaf. There is a delightful coffee drinks menu for options to enjoy at your table or to go! Tucker's also does take out, so you really have not excuse to miss this delightful place.

They were out of a lot of things (like no OJ, etc) but the weirdest thing was that there was a server who was standing in the middle of the very small room, playing songs on her phone's speaker and singing out loud to it. Nonstop. Everyone was confused about what was happening. It made it a very uncomfortable situation. Add in that the food was slow because they were down a cook, you would think that the singing waitress could go help with something in the kitchen to offload the cook. They were not offering any concessions because they were out of things either. Also, behind the counter was also very dirty and disheveled and disorganized, giving it a very unsanitized feel. I'll bet the place wouldn't pass a real inspection. No welcome, thanks for coming, etc. just weird. I will say that the food was good. Wish I could giver higher stars for it, but the overall atmosphere and singing and everything else outweigh the food. They are sitting on a potential gold mine based on their location in the Inn, but everything about it is bad. They need a complete reboot.

When we arrived, there was a large bus with tourists that had just arrived so we opted to eat in the bar area versus eating outdoors. Our waitress (Trisha) was one of two bar tenders covering a bar that sat about 12 patrons plus about 6 other tables, She took our orders and then was tied up trying to assist others. We only saw her again when she asked if we desired dessert. My Pasta Fattoria had chicken, spinach, bacon , sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and was very enjoyable. My wife had the steak tips. I could not finish mine so I have lunch for another day. Overall, a nice meal and given the circumstances, Covered Bridge covered most needs.

Service on a Saturday noon seemed casual - no wait, got pointed towards a "high two-top" (waitress' words). I ordered some hot coffee and, more importantly, the chicken & waffles ($20). Now, this price point might seem more appropriate for Downtown Portsmouth or Boston, but it exists for a reason. Not only do you get a large portion of fried chicken, waffles, and syrup, its adorned with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Effectively, you're getting chicken & waffle eggs benedict. One would need quite the large appetite or have skipped another meal to finish it all.

What used to be a strong, popular but dated physical facility was transformed into a modern, efficient, welcoming and even elegant venue serving both skiers/riders and the general public. We came over to ski Tenney Mountain during one of the coldest days of the year. Below zero weather, wind, but the snow was pure fluff. And despite the slow lifts, the skiing was superb. Still, six runs in that temperature with a stiff wind took the energy out of me. That's when the Backcountry Bar and Grill came through with a superb Irish Coffee that allowed me to be back after thawing out, with new energy and desire to ski. We then came over here for an early Apre Ski. Five people had superb brews, superb Ultimate Grilled Cheese, awesome Chicken Sandwich.
