Was a really fab night here! Was a birthday thing for my lady, and we could not have been happier! The Door-Guy immediately gave us front row parking (ty very much) soon as we pulled in! Sooo---thru the door, and wasn't 10 seconds before we were both handed a shot of whatever jungle juice! I could tell, that the smoked meat outside---were being done nicely, for I smoke meat myself, and took a peek at theres! Live music was fab, and the scene was huge mix of ages. Standing room only for us as we entered....But we snipped in with a few locals, and were soon sitting and getting the groove! Drinks were a tad sweet (based on your buds) but fairly priced 4 sure! The staff was really great, and we wished we could have stayed longer. TY Guys, for being there---was less than a mile to our Diamond Resort, and I know we will be back! Truly a must, for those wishing to stay off the strip, and have a great time! When we first walked into The Cheeky Monkey, it quickly became clear that it's more of a lively bar with entertainment than a traditional family restaurant. However, what really stood out was how welcoming the staff made us feel, even with our two kids in tow. Our server, who had a cool mustache (I wish I could remember his name!), was exceptional. He treated us like family, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit. The food was top-notch. My husband devoured a juicy, flavorful burger, while I enjoyed a delicious steak sub that hit the spot. While we waited for our food, they even let my husband teach the kids how to play pool--such a fun, family-friendly touch! The atmosphere is definitely geared towards adults, so if you're sensitive to foul language from other guests (the staff is great about keeping it professional), it might not be for you. But if you're okay with a bit of that bar vibe, you'll definitely enjoy it. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be back! read more

We stumbled on this place in 2013 (I think?). We come to Branson at least every other year, and we ALWAYS stop at the Cheeky Monkey. When you step out of your car, "Welcome To The Cheeky Monkey" rings from the customers on the front deck. Once you step inside, it rings out again. It's gotten so when we get out of the car, and when we go inside, we shout, "Welcome To The Cheeky Monkey" to anyone within earshot. When you do go inside, you're almost always met with a free shot of their "Monkey Drink" of the day. The staff is great. They ask your name once and remember it when you come back. They're very friendly and always 'Johnnie on the spot'. Happy hour prices are great, especially considering they could gouge you in a tourist spot like Branson. I come from a family of bar-b-quers and am a certified judge, so I consider the BBQ fairly average, but certainly not bad. Great nachos. We're going to Branson soon and will definitely hit the Cheeky Monkey several times. read more

Hard to explain the level of service and staff attitude all around in this place. The only thing better is the food. They smoke all their meat on site and the kitchen staff puts out a product that you can triply feel the love they put in it. It's without question the best "bar" in Branson. They have DJ's and live music at night. Make no mistake, its more of a tavern/bar than a restaurant but it's "real" if that makes any sense. Fine dining it isn't and you'll probably find 30 motorcycles parked out front. Don't let that stop you. If you want the best customer service and honest to god great BBQ while letting your hair down (think college bar....ish). This place is worth the drive I promise. read more

I have never been more humiliated in my life. I am a combat veteran with a 100% disability rating. I visited the place 3 times with my service dog. Some guy convinced the owner that I had no right to be there. I showed my military retired ID, my dogs ID, my VA ID and they threw me out. My dog is a Rockstar and beat out the instructors dogs on her last obedience certification. I shouldn't have to pull out all my medical records just to show a bar that hates dogs to prove she is a certified medical device protected by the ADA. I am planning on protesting outside of their business. I hope to humiliate them like they did to me. read more

I wanted to share the experience of a lifetime as far as going to a bar is concerned. This bar is the most amazing bar I have ever been to. The STAFF is what sets them aside. PERFECT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Attentive and genuine. They treat you like you have been there a 100 times. This establishment is a destination for sure. They need to teach classes to other businesses on how to run a place and how to treat customers. I got better treatment there than my doctor's office. Pretty sad huh!? They deserve 10 stars. One of the few great bars in this city. I love this little jive spot. The staff are amazing always ready to take your order and always on there feet moving to make sure everyone is happy. The drinks are amazing the sometimes have live music which makes it even more of that party feeling. The food is absolutely amazing if your needing to sober up if you know what I mean order the Philly cheese steak one of the best Phillis I've had ,keep it up love it. The staff (and sometimes the customers) welcome you by yelling "welcome to the Cheeky Monkey Bar!" They also give you a sample of their drink of the day when you first get there. I love this place!! A completely welcoming establishment for people from all walks of life. There seems to be a great mix of locals and travelers, all interacting and having a great time. The service is amazing and drinks/food are on point. You must try the BBQ and meet Crazy Craig. He has great stories! Some of the nicest people you will ever meet are at the Cheeky Monkey. read more

by far one if BEST bars ive ever been to. we weren't expecting much considering it was a Monday night, but it was actually really busy. we got a free shot as soon as we walked in called monkey juice that was delicious. and my friend who had just turned 21 got a free mixed drink as well. the burgers were delicious, the staff was super friendly, and alot of cute girls and hot guys there as well. we also requested a song by the dj and he was more than welcome to play it next. read more

The reviews were right about it being extremely smokey especially on a Saturday night. The monkey drinks were ok but not exceptional. The band against the grain was good. The bar staff and band kept encouraging everyone to drink up when there were cops sitting in the parking lot. I'm guessing that's because they're the only bar in town. this went from being the best sports bar in Branson to the WORST. The old pre Covid crowd were regulars. WE had a great time on Sundays with the NFL games. Now they play ONE NFL game (count 'em ONE) and play Nascar and Women's tennis and sadly no one pays any attention. Again this place is a tragedy. Horrible place but the name is appropriate. My wife and I went to Branson last week and had the greatest time at this amazing bar. The staff were all very professional and the customer service was top notch. Cheap drink prices and one of the burgers I have had in a long time. It is a smoking bar, however, the ventilation in the bar keeps the smoke out. Stuck around for a few drinks, good conversation with the bartender, Jesse, and had an amazing time. This place is just awesome. Great place for nightlife in Branson, Missouri! They have the longest happy hour (6 Freaking Hours!) in Branson & the free pool during was a nice touch. Its an atmosphere thats unique both in look and feel. If you're visiting Branson, definitely want to check this place out as it is both really a good time and completely safe. This is place is awesome!! The smoked meat aroma hits you right as you step out of your car. We were greeted by staff immediately when we entered and offered a sample of the drink of the day.
