And worst of all... the grass sod he installed did not take in numerous areas (see pics). Freddy repeatedly claimed he would come back to fix the browned and dead sod, but he never did. Text message after text message of unkept promises. He made sure he collected all the money we originally agreed to in the service contract though. Overall, Freddy proved to be an untrustworthy person who did not live up to his word. We ended up disappointed with his lack of professionalism in following through with his appointments, and we were very disappointed with his decision to abandon the project before it was finished properly.

It's been roughly a year since I acquired services from SHL, so I thought it would be a good time…read moreto finally give a fair review. The good: The decorative rocks and driveway was done ok. I am also happy with how they routed my irrigation system. There are the occasional weeds growing through the weed guard, but I think that's inevitable. The bad: Most of the trees they planted ended up dying because they were planted incorrectly. All trees are on the same irrigation system that they routed, so they all received the same amount of water. 7/10 trees died. I pulled them out and saw that they didn't prepare the soil correctly and didn't spread the roots out after transplanting the trees. The ugly: The gate install was a complete disaster. They put the gate frame on backwards which cause the gate to have uncontrollable sagging. Also, the gate lock was put on backwards.
