Steak Bomb Fries: this is after I devoured half of the order.

Stumbled upon this place via Google and an overwhelming urge to not cook dinner last night. Was craving something hearty and heavy and the menu looked like it could satisfy those needs. Pretty simple and straightforward menu; a burger smorgasbord, chicken sandwiches galore, and a variety of loaded fries. Honestly, for something so straightforward I had trouble choosing, but eventually settled on Steak Bomb fries and 10 chicken wings. I know, not a burger or a chicken sandwich, but the fries looked so damn good. "You can't judge a book by its cover" need not apply. The entree tasted better than it looked. Shredded steak, melty cheese, sautéed peppers and onions, piled high on golden, crispy, thick cut french fries and topped with fresh chopped parsley. Still steaming upon arrival and smelling like they were heaven sent. The various flavors were so distinct yet somehow merged to create one mouthwatering unique experience of its own. Absolutely delicious. The wings were okay, but seemed a little dry and fairly small in size. I didn't like how there was only one option when ordering the 10 piece, even the sauce option was either "burnt butter mayo" or "barbecue". No garlic parm? Nothing with some heat? Either way, they were decent enough, just not something I'd order again. Did I mention we ordered delivery? The speed and accuracy in which we received order was outstanding and worth noting. We're 20 minutes from the place in a suburb of Boston and had our food in under an hour. Impressive! Overall, the Steak Bomb fries won me over. My only regret is not ordering one of the big, smash patty stacked, juicy-ass burgers. I'll definitely do that next time.

Today we got take out from here. We got the double trouble burger and the Oklahoma style burgers. Both of these we felt were extremely over priced at 15 & 13 dollars, respectively. We also got plain fries and the buffalo chicken fries. The plain fries were just that - Very plain, no frills. The Buffalo chicken fries were well done, but again, the fry itself is just mildly decent. The inside of the restaurant is a small, carryout only style spot. I believe in the summertime there are a few chairs on the patio. I would like to try this spot again, and would love to see the quality of ingredients improve, and more properly reflect the price point!! Side note, the customer service here is very good. Their online ordering system is extremely easy to use.

Ordered quite a few things for pickup. Pickup process was smooth and the location is very small. Highly recommend the Chicken Bomb Fries! So much flavor and the queso is so good. I got this two days in a row, that's how good it was.

I visited Crazy Good Kitchen in Medford, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. The burger was a major disappointment--sloppy and didn't even resemble a proper patty. It was a mess. The chicken sandwich wasn't any better; it felt soggy and undercooked, which made it hard to enjoy. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and this is definitely not a place I'd return to. The only positive was the steak bomb fries they were cooked very well the seasoning was excellent and the cheese was on point. This is the original location but I did have the Newbury location as well and it's not any different. I would say the service is fairly quick.

I have been seeing ads for their burgers that look huge and amazing with homemade sauces plus they are open late, so finally tried them. Sadly, was not impressed. The burger was much smaller than expected and was not the juicy burger with toppings I was expecting. The toppings were barely tasted, there was one pickle, and I did not taste any onions. Just a shot above Wendy's. Fries were okay. Service was disappointing. It has a tiny entry to place or pick up orders. I had ordered online. One gal was taking an order at the small window. The customer was undecided, but she gave him her full attention. Another gal came to the window and gave the guy in front of me his takeout order. Then she walked away and was dancing. Yes, dancing with her back to the entry as I tried to get her attention. The gal waiting on the indecisive customer told me she would be with me shortly, but I finally got the other ones attention. She merely offered me my bag without a word. They close on Saturday night at 11 p.m. Wendy's drive through closes at 1 a.m. I think I will stick with Wendy's.

More of an outdoor area and you order through a small window. Food comes out really fast though. But Make It Spicy Chicken Sandwich 5/5: love it. Great balance of flavors and super crispy juicy chicken. Solid spicy chicken sandwich.

They nailed the juicy chicken cut part. The spicy was appeasing but not super hot if you're one that can't handle the heat me personally I love spicy so u think they could've went up on the heat level. I'm not usually a Cole slaw fan but this one complimented the spicy chicken part very well. I would definitely go back, only down side is the sandwich @ almost $15 doesn't come with any sides.

Flavors - 4/5 Textures - 4/5 Presentation - 4/5 Value for Money - 4/5 Would return? Yes Must-try: Double Trouble Burger As the name indicates, the food here is crazy good. But you obviously need to ditch your diet at home. The Double Trouble Burger (with double patty) is AH-MAZING. The patty's are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and perfectly seasoned and cooked to Medium. The cheese is melted. The bacon is crispy (although chewy in some places). The flavors were harmonious and I could taste every single ingredient on the burger, even the griddle onions and raw onions. The only thing I would add is lettuce and tomatoes for freshness and to balance the fat. I was shocked at how the burger stayed together through every bite and never fell apart... and the burger is huge!

I've been here multiple times now and it's so delicious every time with the chicken sandwich. The chicken is always crispy and the fries are great! The chicken is huge and super juicy. Out of all the fries, I really like their truffle parmesan fries. I usually order ahead for pick up and they always have a few parking spots available in their lot. It's a small trailer with a few seating outside for anyone who wants to eat there.

Came here on a Thursday afternoon and the food was absolutely phenomenal. One of the best burgers I've ever had anywhere, perfectly seasoned and juicy. The pictures really dont do it justice. My partner got a hot chicken sandwich and it was as good as the best of Nashville. I am seriously impressed with the flavor and quality. And the staff is friendly (always a plus). CGK only has a few bar seats on the outside, and no 'indoors'. The building is a small diner cart that houses ~2 employees - so I can see there being longer waits during peak hours or weekends. There was a few people ahead of us, but we only waited about 10 minutes. Great find - really looking forward to coming back here.

Newbury street location since that Yelp page isn't up yet. The strawberry milkshake was thick and not too sweet, perfect for a hot summer day. The chicken sandwich was crispy, right amount of spicy and juicy. The portion was generous in between Cole slaw and buttery brioche buns! Why 3 stars? I came for a Yelp event for a free sandwich and smoothie but purchased as well. I got another sandwich and was charged really abruptly and quickly. The person clicked a lot of stuff on his tablet didn't let me see it then took my card and put it in. The price sounded more than normal to me but I still tipped anyways. When I got my receipt I saw that they had charged me a "house fee" of 20% before tax. While it was only a coupon bucks, I wish they would've disclosed it as it felt kind of sneaky. Staff was nice other than the sneaky charge that was not disclosed and quick with my order. Was in and out in about 10 minutes.

This place makes some very good looking food. I've been dying to try them and am glad I finally did! Ordered the Fry Me Up, 'Merica Style Single w/ extra cheese on the side, and a House Açaí. I have always wanted to have my own personal vat of liquid cheese and this is 100% an option here! The portion size is good and the extra cheese is very generous. The 'Merica style is a very delicious, almost perfect cheese burger topped with cheese, pickles, and onions on a sesame brioche bun. Dip it in a side of extra cheese, to feel extravagant. The Fry Me Up is a fried chicken sandwich with a brioche bun, pickles, lettuce and ranch. For the fried chicken they use chicken thigh, which is fine, but not such a happy thing when the thighs aren't properly trimmed. There were some rather big globs of fat. I would have preferred it to be cooked a bit longer, it was definitely fully cooked, but not as much as I would have liked. Lastly, the chicken was bland, could use some seasoning, honestly a pinch of salt would have done the job, definitely needed all those topping. Lastly, the House Açaí. Açaí topped with your choice of all, some or none of bananas, strawberries, granola and dried milk (leite ninho or leche nido). Great price point for all of those toppings. This is Açaí the Brazilian way, delicious. Overall definitely lives up to the hype for the burgers, but I was a bit disappointed with the chicken sandwich. Will be crazing their burgers in the future.

The food really is excellent but the service is less than stellar. We found the staff to be rude. I would have given them 5 stars but they were rude to my husband simply for asking a question. Also, the wait times were about 20 minutes longer than projected. We tried the double trouble, fry me up, Buffalo chicken fries, and the cookie shake. The chicken was the best fried chicken ever and the milkshake was also the absolute best. My favorite item were the Buffalo chicken fries which were flavorful but very mild spice; the buttermilk ranch is perfection. Although it was good, the burger was our least favorite item. read more

Ordered a sandwich and an extra sauce on the side. Went to go pick it up, to my demise there was no sauce in the bag that i paid .75 cents extra for. It was dead too, not even like they could use the 'busy' excuse. If places want to charge x y or z for extras, fine - just make sure you actually provide it. Id rather drag my eyelids across a football field of rusty nails than pay for something that should be free in the first place and then just not recieve it. The sandwich was decent. Would go back for it. Would have been 4.5 stars if they didnt forget the sauce. read more

On the "Good-Meh-Suck" scale, this is a solid "Good+". Decided to try a new place for us based on a few comments. We all decided on burgers. I got the Hot Mess as a double. If you want some açaí, come here! I wouldn't call it a bowl but more like açaí in a cup. However, it was very delicious (get it with condensed milk!) I also got the passion fruit smoothie and so yummy. You can definitely taste the passion fruit but it's milk/ice cream based. I want to go back to try the food! read more

The food only looks pretty, but really has some weird seasoning that I can't quite put my finger on. Not sure what everyone else sees in it. I went to the one on Boylston, and it was a little ringy-dink dinner set up. Food left us unimpressed and even threw half away. Then, (by not linking the names together) and only viewing the pretty 'foodporn' type pictures, went to the original in Malden. Yuck, instantly remembered the Boylston location, chicken was cold and slightly undercooked....just gross to me. read more

Food is actually really good, here is why 3 stars... If you advertise breakfast, and serve breakfast....... for the love all that is holy and sacred serve COFFEE. Went for breakfast on a weekend , got a breakfast sandwich which I have to admit was really very good. But when asked to order coffee was told they don't sell it. They offer places to sit as well so it's not like it's a pickup only place. I was really shocked. And also need my coffee in the AM. I shouldn't have to bring coffee from elsewhere or go somewhere else to get it. I figure if ordering breakfast it should be an option. Am I being petty? I am, but it's my opinion. That was all I needed to hear to know not to go back for breakfast. If anything I'd probably order it from delivery and make coffee myself at home. read more

This place is going to give me some serious problems. I noticed that Lunch Box Diner changed into this place a while ago, but I never gave it much thought. I mean, I like diners, but I am partial to B.W. Grill in Revere, so I don't try others that often. My roommate has this annoying habit of ordering food for every meal on the weekends and she offered to buy me breakfast a few weeks ago. I got the Rte 60 combo and it was pretty good. For some illogical reason, they believe that french toast and pancakes belong in the same plate, but who am I to argue? My only issue was the fact that my eggs were over easy when I asked for over medium. Last week my roommate was on an ordering spree again and I got a cheeseburger. I realized you could get it on plantains instead of bread and my life has not been the same since. That thing was so damn good I ordered another the same day. I tried to order another a few days ago, but they were out of plantains, which sucked big time. Besides the two things I just mentioned, I probably wouldn't order anything else from here. Most of the menu sounds standard and unexciting, so I am in no rush to try more. I do know that the plantain burger is dangerous and if I am not careful I will be like 500 pounds in a year or so....smdh. read more

What can I say? I absolutely love C.G.K. Stumbled in here after craving a post-workout protein smoothie and was instead treated to the best Açaí bowl I've ever had and was able to add whey protein and peanut butter. They do it the right way here - fresh ingredients and love for what they do. Absolutely amazing food I recommended 15 times out of 10. We had the merica burger, fry me up, the spicy chicken burger, and an order of fries. The food was spectacular, especially the beef burger. This place is a pretty small operation and was overrun with people on a Friday night. Warning: you're much better off ordering in person or calling in! I ordered from C.K.G as a pre-Super Bowl lunch and it was amazing. The sandwich's were large and the make it spicy was SPICY. I like spicy food and I was struggling a little. My favorite was the steak and cheese fries, the portion was large enough to share. My only regret was not getting a milkshake, but everything was so filling it would have been a tough fit. read more

There are probably many reasons that people choose not to eat at Crazy Good Kitchen. All of them are wrong. Stop what you're doing right now, go to CGK, and order one of their Açaí Berry Bowls for breakfast. WARNING: all subsequent breakfasts will be slight disappointments. Or stay home and have them DELIVER A G*******D MILKSHAKE TO YOUR DOOR! "Duuuuh, I bet a chocolate milkshake someone would bring to your door wouldn't even be that good." That was my impression of you being WRONG! That milkshake was DELICIOUS. "Wait, so all they make are dessert foods they pass off as diner food?" Wrong again, hypothetical Internet straw man! They also make breakfast sandwiches which are DELICIOUS! Which they will bring you with TATER TOTS! Which they happen to think are hash browns for whatever reason, but that's not the point, the point is that their cute retro diner aesthetic is backed up by actual diner foods that are so good you'll literally hear Buddy Holly music in your head. Did I mention the retro diner aesthetic? It's adorable! Disclaimer: The space is small, don't bring a large group, no Buddy Holly music will be playing, the menu is short. Some of the best burgers, milkshakes, and loaded fries I've ever had! Easy to get to and parking available. No indoor seating and limited outdoor seating but perfect for pickup. I've yet to have something that didn't taste amazing here. read more

WOW! I've been meaning to try this place for a while and I'm so glad I finally did. I split a single burger , chicken fingers and fries for lunch. Food was super fresh! Everything tasted great. The burger was juicy and was perfectly cooked on the flat top grill. Chicken fingers were delicious, breading was crunchy and flavorful. Fries were basic and delicious. Now my favorite part...the sauces! I don't even know what they were but one had scallions and was creamy white the other was some kind of cilantro mayo. I dunked everything I had in both. Definitely home made, so good. I even saved my extra sauce and will save it until I find food that is deserving for such deliciousness. read more

The food it actually pretty good, but the staff/ownership is atrocious and rude. There's not enough space here to properly convey how bad the woman at the Malden location is. Sunday we ordered over $100 worth of food. 11am pickup. Drove all the way over from South Boston . Upon arrival at 11:05 , door locked , lights off, closed sign in window. Tried calling both locations, right to voicemail , which was full. (Never a good sign for a business). Left at 11:20 , still closed. Got a text at 11:50 saying food was ready?!?! Called three times before she answered , where she vehemently argued with me that they were open when we were there, and to come get our food. I explained that I went over on my lunch break and couldn't come back. Too bad , I'm not refunding your money, complain to the owner .(I did file a complaint on their website , no response ). I've been here several times and had run ins with her rudeness before. One time I walked in and was told I had to order online , fine , no problem.......I did. Upon picking up my food, I had to wait quite a while, while someone else was placing an order in person. Different rules for different kinds of people if you get my meaning. Too bad , the food is pretty good and I recommended them to several people ....who I now, am telling to avoid at all costs. VERY stupid on their part. .......I was going there every week , now ,will never again. read more

I am someone who never craves a chicken sandwich ever, but this place gives me cravings! The spicy chicken sandwich is the best. It is spicy, the chicken is juicy and with the buttermilk ranch sauce+pickle/slaw.. perfection !! The fries are also awesome. They are super crunchy! I wouldve gave them 5 stars if the burgers were just as good. The burgers lack in flavor. Its not bad, but not something I would order again. Definitely lots of better burger options elsewhere. read more

Acai BowlCgk BurgerCrazy Good Kitchen lived up to the standard, food was very good not too overwhelming but just enough. The tenders were well seasoned and really tender. The fries were really cheesy but still satisfactory and the chicken buttermilk ranch was perfect it was delicious the meat was well seasoned and my palate thanked the heavens for this chicken sandwich. The burger was fresh and Tasty. If you are looking for a good milkshake, look no further. The açaí smoothie fell from heaven and any other milkshakes is made from scratch and delicious. Wow. I mean the food is great. When they remember to put it in your take out bag. And then don't believe you when you call. And then miraculously find said entree and tell you that you can drive 20 minutes back to pick it up. And then don't refund any portion of the $60 meal you bought and give you spectacular attitude because they didn't do THEIR job. If you go here- it's for FOOD NOT SERVICE. Check your order. Keep your expectations for service LOW. read more

Went for the ginormous (and expensive) milkshakes and were overall pretty disappointed with them, especially the quality of ice cream. The brownies incorporated were dry and sort of hacked apart, coffee ice cream just tasted bland. Our milkshakes just turned into a gooey mess and we were left disappointed (especially for the price tag). read more

Best burgers in Malden and possibly in all of East Boston. There building was unassuming at first, but because I was doing take out, that didn't matter as much. Ended up being worth it though because it's the most delicious burger I've had in a long time maybe ever. read more

I love this place. I don't live anywhere near and am willing to drive about 40 mins just for the food that's how good this place is! I personally love the chicken sandwich because I don't eat beef so as for the burgers I can't say. I also love the cheese fries here, super cheesy and the fries are perfectly fried! Their milkshakes are so thick and good as well. Can't wait to come back :) read more

Wow, wow, wow! What a hidden gem! We ordered takeout today and when picking up the food I was greeted by a lovely woman who was so friendly! Great service and Delicious food! We got 2 burgers and BELIEVE THE HYPE!!! They were both perfect! The meat was so tender and cooked perfectly! The bun was not soggy and there was no grease on the bottom of the container either. We also got fries and bacon cheese fries! So yummy! We also got an açaí cup with our choice of toppings- WOW! Soooo good and the toppings were so fresh! I am going back tomorrow to get another! This place really was top notch!!!!! A+++++! Consider me a new "regular"!!! read more

This place has no trashcan outside so when you leave, you have to toss things over the into the trashcan inside the kitchen area on your way out. Pricing is reasonable and the front desk guy was friendly. I'd stay away from the wet flavors as it makes the food soggy, but that could just be personal preference. This place has to stay on their A-game as Dave's hot chicken and Canes Chicken is literally outside of this place.

I get the hot mess and cheese and my wife gets the fry me up chicken sandwich. The burgers are amazing, and so tasteful. Although the pricing for their food items are a little bit on the high side, the taste makes up for the higher cost.
