Staff incredibly rude when trying to order another dish after we were given the wrong one. Would not find management for us to speak to. They then asked us to pay for the other dish we were trying to order, after they had given us the wrong one to begin. Will NEVER go back again. Would give zero stars if possible read more

Good food, good price, quick service. Perfect place for college students, very informal. They have asian and italian dishes but I always get the asian. Last time they brought us the wrong appetizer. We let them know and they: apologized, gave us a refund, and gave us a double order of the appetizer we ordered. Amazing customer service!!! read more

Soo delicious!! My vegan family and I left the Sushi place around the corner for bad service and went here instead and were not disappointed! AMAZING green curry, can't wait to try the red one next time! My daughter (5ish) had the fried rice! Loved it! My son had a vegan stir fry and he almost finished it! My middle son had the veggie noodle soup with tofu. Hubby got the pad Thai. Everything was delicious (we're picky too having lived near Worcester for years, they know us personally at both Loving Huts) and large portions! I just finished up the last of my curry (enough left for a whole meal!) today for lunch and it's even better the second day! We will def be back soon! read more

We were out visiting colleges and my daughter wanted Asian cuisine. We settled n the place and we were not disappointed. Order at the counter and take a seat. Food comes to you. We had spring rolls, house special fried rice, and chicken wonton noodle soup, which was a lunch special. The mix soup came out cold, which was a bummer. Other than that everything else was really good. The only item lacking was not being provided a receipt after purchase, only a total amount. Common practice is to either print it or as the customer if they like one. I did not ask and did not get it. read more

Was just in Amherst for a conference, and well went out to dinner! Some people from the area mentioned Crazy Noodles as a place to get dinner. Now as a disclaimer, I am from Boston and eat lots of really good thai here. I was disappointed by the pad thai. It had fresh ingredients, but no sauce and the noodles weren't cooked to the right texture. The boba in the bubble tea tasted old. Not my favorite place, but good for people who like noodles but don't necessarily like Thai -- they make Italian style dishes etc. I'll stick to Boston for Thai! read more

The atmosphere at Crazy Noodles is great - vibrant walls, modern accents, and bench seating with pillows. A place that one could hang out in for a while. They have a variety of noodle dishes, but a majority are asian in nature. Many entrees don't include meat, so this woiuld be a good place for vegetarians. The soup I had was flavorful and had nice, fresh ingredients (although the noodles aren't homemade). Specials range from $7-10, and average entrees cost $6-8. read more

Service: slow Food: Pad Se Ouw was nothing like the real Thai dish. Instead, it was noodles soaked in soy sauce. Seems like the chef is not familiar with Thai food. The Tom Yum was also nothing like the real thing. There didn't seem to be any lemon grass in it whatsoever. It also contained thin rice noodles, which is odd for this dish. Horrible food, everything tastes like grease, no matter what the dish. Peanut noodles, not a peanut in sight, nor any peanut flavor. Penne de creme made with gross chewy orange cheddar cheese. Disgusting, threw my order away after it arrived in a smashed container, leaking everywhere. Would never ever eat here again. Crazy Noodles is a cozy little restaurant located in the center of the strip, (36 Main Street) in the Amherst center. This restaurant is notorious for their large portions, cheap prices, fast service, and of course their delicious food. According to Google, Crazy Noodle is categorized as an "Asian Fusion Restaurant". However, I would disagree because they serve Italian, Indian, and Japanese style noodles as well. When you enter Crazy Noodle, you are surrounded by tranquil yellow walls. To your left you can't help but notice the 3D black birds on the upper perimeter of the wall, and underneath you are on eye to eye level with a massive blown up menu on the wall. When you look to your right the wall is bordered by a long orange couch-style-bench which comfortably fits 7 tables with two accompanying chairs on the other side. Above the couch there are 2 separate blown up pictures of separate picture frames. (8 frames vertically and 8 frames horizontally, each frame about 9x9 inches each) All together the frames project a large cohesive photo of a man on a boat. While this restaurant has the environment and feel of a sit-down restaurant it is actually is not that way at all. When you walk into the restaurant you approach the counter and place your order and pay before you sit down, similar to a fast food restaurant. Considering this is not a restaurant that is run by waiters and waitresses, the customer has to take it upon themselves to grab their own utensils, cups, napkins and even to go boxes. The only service provided by the staff is when they bring out your food. Pasta Roma is by far my favorite Italian dish at Crazy Noodle. It is penne pasta with juicy cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced red onions, freshly grated melted parmesan cheese, and baby spinach sautéed in olive oil and white wine sauce. Pad C'Yu is by far my favorite "Asian style" meal at Crazy Noodle. This dish consists of these remarkable wide rice noodles with broccoli, garlic, egg, yu choy, thinly sliced carrots, scallions, and fresh cilantro all sautéed in a Chinese style brown sauce. Considering you can get a dinner sized portion for lunch for under 7$, I would argue that this is the best lunch spot in the Amherst center. Recently, Crazy Noodle started to accept OCMP swipes (Off Campus Meal Plan), meaning that if you have this meal plan, you can spend up to $9.50 which enables you to afford either lunch or dinner! If you're a broke hungry college student that loves left overs for a later meal, like myself, you should certainly check out Crazy Noodle for an amazing deal and meal! read more

i have been here only once i believe. i came here with some of my friends and we all ordered different things. i was able to taste a little bit of everything they had there. it is slightly hard for me to remember all of them. however i remember i clearly that i did not like their pad thai. their curry was not bad, but certainly not the best i'd had. they're italian pastas were okay/good. hmm, and i think someone had a noodle salad that i remember being pretty good. i wish i could give a more in depth description of my experience, but i think overall i would not go there again. read more

The red spaghetti? I have wet dreams about it. Wet with tomato sauce, that is. And they put just the right amount of cheese blend on it. And I mean, the portions are just out of this world. I came here once and while the experience was positive and the food was great, my second experience is what prompted me to leave a review. We ordered delivery which took a while (not technically their fault) and both of the entrees ordered (Red Devil and Spicy Basil Noodles) had hair in them. I tried calling Crazy Noodles and started explaining the issue, and was immediately met with an attitude. The woman I spoke with told me I should put the hair back in the food, and send it back so they can investigate, and send over a new one. (We had already waited an hour and thirty minutes for our food to arrive.) This may sound ridiculous, so I had to make sure I heard right and she confirmed that I should put the hair back in the food. She must have thought I was lying (supposedly they have had a problem with this) so I guess that's why I got such an attitude over the phone. This is no way to treat a customer, and not only will I never order from Crazy Noodles again, I will make sure nobody I know does either. Poor service and multiple pieces of hair in food is completely unacceptable. read more

I love this place. The workers are friendly and personable, and the food is delicious and cheap. I enjoy their pad thai noodles, wonton soup, any of the curry dishes. I come every time multiple times on weekends a friend of mine visits because she is in love with their ocean spaghetti. They cater to what you want, I always alter mine to be spicy and they do it just right every time. Also, they have a punch card, so you can get free meals if you use the card. read more

By far my FAVORITE place to eat in Amherst, I'm usually very picky with my food, but everything I've ever tried at this place has been excellent. I eat here at least once a week (I ate here four times this weekend). The soup dishes are delicious and my favorite is the number 1 (with added fish balls). I highly recommend the curry noodles! Extremely flavorful and the perfect amount of spice. Not too much that it overwhelmed the rest of the flavor, but enough to have a bit of a kick! Only been here once but this is my new go-to for Amherst. The prices are really reasonable. The menu is extensive. Counter ordering which is nice. Clean place. And the food is totally tasty and fresh. It's a weird fusion menu of Asian fusion plus Italian pastas. It's fun. This is not gourmet but it is exactly what it purports itself to be. I love a place like this that offers something specific and delivers in value and flavor. It's funky and probably has kinks in its operating as others have observed but it's good. We ate Drunken Noodles (nice spice, very flavorful, a lot of basil), Vietnamese steak salad (delicious, simple, abundant), pork wontons (I loved these---crispy, salty, meaty, fun), and spring rolls (fine, crispy, not greasy). 2 entrees and 2 apps, plus sodas and it was less than every other dining out experience in years. read more

I love this place! I work in Amherst on the weekend and I hit this place up 2-3 times a month. I always order the Pad Mee Khow or the Pad Thai and the food has always been on point. The flavors are good and the ingredients taste fresh. The staff is nice, always greeting me when I come in and saying goodbye when I leave. The dining service is informal; you order your food at the counter and they bring it out to you, but getting your drink and utensils is self service. However, this is true of several other places in downtown Amherst, not very many of which have waitress service. All and all, Crazy Noodles is a place that so far has not disappointed, and one of my Amherst staples! read more

Went here for lunch with a few coworkers a couple weeks ago- how have I never been here before?! While they seem to specialize in different Asian-style noodles, they also have things like spaghetti. There's a lot to choose from, even for lunch, and if the thought of different noodles intimidates you, they have great descriptions of most dishes inside the menu. Or try whatever sounds interesting! No one at my table regretted their choice. There are also some soups and salads, but as the name suggests, the bulk of the menu is NOODLES. The "rules" of the restaurant were a little unexpected- you actually order and pay at the counter, and then they bring you your dish at the table. Patrons seat themselves. I don't know why this was odd for me (I guess thinking "noodles," I assumed a more formal process), but figured I'd note it here in case. Prices are good at both lunch and dinner. They do have a limited beer selection! There's a small parking lot right across the street, as we as one behind the shop. Both are public lots, both cash and credit card accepted. read more

I enjoy this place a lot. Sure it's not fine dining, but it's a clean, the food is good, and the pricing is reasonable. This is a great place to come for lunch or a casual meal with friends. I like to come here for meet ups rather than coffee shops because it's quieter, has better food, and a relaxed atmosphere. All of the staff are very friendly too. Never had a bad experience coming here. You do have to bus your own table and get your own utensils, but that's the same deal as most informal restaurants. They bring out your food and drinks though, which is nicer than having to listen for your name being yelled out from a counter. My favorite dish is the Wonton Noodle Soup. So far their soups and rice dishes are the best. The Pad Thai was mediocre and I haven't tried any of their Italian style noodle dishes. Stick with the Starter menu or any of the Rice or Noodle Soup dishes, and you can't go wrong. Their Ginger Tea is also very good though sweet. read more

Service was rude by the woman at the counter. When she brought my ice tea to the table, I said -Thank you. And, I said it in a nice way even though she had been rude at time of ordering. When she didn't respond to my nice Thank you, it did bother me, so I said -You're welcome. She said, "I didn't say you are welcome. " I was a bit surprised by her continued rudeness, so I responded, "I'm just trying to teach you manners." I was surprised with the service at the counter because it is usually the same woman who I have seen for years. They need to train this new woman from today this was at 345pm, Saturday, May 7th. We've had their curry, pad thai, chicken alfredo, spring rolls, and a few other items that I am blanking on right now. All have been great. The portions are huge and delicious. I noticed some people don't like the informal setting because you have to pick up your own silverware, but honestly, I prefer this! It's not a fine-dining restaurant (which is a good thing IMO) You pay for your food ahead of time, and then you can just leave when you are done! No waiting for a check or getting disappointed with poor service. It's a great simple set up, and the food is yummy! We get crazy noodle cravings about twice a month and have to go out of our way to go here! :) Oh, and their noodle bowls are HUGE. Awesome! read more
