They have the best Chinese food in Easthampton. It's my go-to. Everything I have tried is delicious.

Great Chinese food in our little city. Super nice family, always willing to make any modifications. The pad thai is to die!

But we won't be going back after how my wife was treated yesterday. I called in an order for pickup. They never tell you how long it will take or even give you a chance to ask. So it's a guess when it will be ready. There are times it can take over an hour but this time the wait wasn't long. However, they messed up the order. One of the items was supposed to be Moshu Vegetable but they gave us Moshu chicken. My wife is vegetarian and doesn't eat chicken. The receipt said vegetable so we didn't discover the mistake until we got home. She had to drive back which delayed us having our dinner by an hour. Instead of apologizing or giving any sort of compensation, the guy yelled at her. Said it was vegetable and not chicken. He said the pieces of chicken were egg. It was not egg. I tasted it myself. It was clearly chicken. Even if it was egg, there is no reason to be so mean to your customers. He didn't even take the lid off to check to see if he was wrong. I had egg in my rice and there was clearly a difference in looks and taste. He made a mistake and wouldn't admit it. Very poor customer service. We will not be returning!

The prices were reasonable for the amount of food you got. Now the food itself . 1st I had the won ton soup, looks good and three wontons , it had a little funny taste to it , I recognized it but took me while to figure out what it was ( freezer burn ) I recently cooked a turkey that was like 4 years old in my freezer and threw it away . Same thing ! The chicken finger were good , tasted like there suppose to , plenty of chicken . The boneless ribs , ( freezer burn ) not as bad as the soup , but still . Not that good . So everything must be frozen for a long time and nothing fresh . Very disappointing considering how good it looked and smelled .

I have tried a lot of different food here and my favorites are the wonton soup, pork dumplings steamed, fried rice (never greasy), shrimp lomien, egg rolls, chicken fingers, ect. The food has always been great! The dining room is casual and that's what I prefer rather than a place where you have to wait for a waitress. There's plenty of time just to hang around and talk after eating! I highly recommend Golden China Pan!

Everything is made fresh to order from the thick, hand-pulled noodles, dumplings, and scallion pancakes. Ordering is quick and casual. You place your order at the back right counter when you walk in (for dine-in or takeout), and the cashier also acts as your server. If you order a noodle soup, they'll ask if you want green onions and/or cilantro. After that, just grab any open table and relax. We ordered a variety of dishes. Appetizers: Scallion pancakes: (3/5) nice crispy pancakes with scallions. Dumplings with pork and leeks: (3/5) tender dumplings filled with pork and some leeks Spicy stewed beef noodle soup: (4/5) thick hand pulled noodles in a savory broth topped with vegetables like bok choy and mushroom and some tender beef Hot and sour vermicelli soup: (4/5) very tangy savory broth with tender vermicelli noodle and ground pork. Medium spicy level Biang Biang noodles with pork: (4/5) their signature hand-pulled noodles are sautéed in a medium spicy sauce with pork. Overall this place hits the spot for an authentic Chinese meal without the glitz and glamour.

It has a traditional looking interior with wooden plaques around. I would have to recommend getting wontons no matter what dish you get, the sauce is so good and we were picking at the peanuts. Half the restaurant seats (the right side) were empty. I was given a small table near the entrance and I asked for a larger table, since I planned on ordering quite a few dishes to try. The maître d' said "No", that they reserve those seats for four people. I completely understand if the restaurant was busy or expecting more people. I said, no, I would be leaving. I was allowed to leave. After all, he had no stake in the revenue. But I hope the owners will take notice of this. You have lost a customer, and likely a repeat customer. In addition, whatever happened to service and accommodating customers, especially when it costs nothing in this situation.

Tonight, I found myself home alone and hungry, and after seeing so many positive reviews, I decided to give them another chance. The staff were very friendly, but I noticed the same unusual smell I remembered from years ago. I ordered Combo A: General Tso's Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, and Crab Rangoon. The pork fried rice was underwhelming. The pork was tough, and the flavor seemed to be little more than soy sauce. It was mostly rice with a few onion slices and pieces of pork. The General Tso's Chicken was disappointing as well. There was very little actual chicken and a lot of batter. The sauce was brown in color and tasted nothing like the General Tso's sauce I've had elsewhere. It lacked flavor, and aside from a single piece of pepper, there were no vegetables. The Crab Rangoon was okay. The texture was different from what I'm used to, but it was edible. Overall, I found it to be an $18.75 meal that was largely inedible. While I appreciate the friendly service, the food simply wasn't for me, and unfortunately my second visit didn't change my opinion.
