The reviews about how terrible a business this place is right on point. First, I went here for my birthday with my 8 year old son. I didn't know you have to pay for EVERYTHING! Not one single game was free. I thought they were going to charge me just to walk. Secondly, this place is extremely racist toward Black and Brown people because most of the workers are young white people. They are unfriendly, unhappy, and unwelcoming. It is not a warm environment. We got a package deal and they did not tell us you have to reserve times. No one was in line for the go carts and we couldn't go. We couldn't do the ropes thing we paid for because no one was by it to let us in. Basically we paid for a fun day with kids and got ripped off because we could no longer schedule anything. Unfortunately had a bad experience. Super long waiting list to bowl. However, 8 lanes open. Mgmt says they give persons with reservations a half an hour or so before they move to the next person on the wait list. Really? You have paying customers right here now. So, ok, we went to go karts instead. Approx. 9-12 people in line, but we waited for a half hour and it still wasn't time to ride. It was very obvious there was a "training" issue with the Staff trying to run the go karts. Went to talk to the Manager about the situation and I was told "no refund", arcade card only. Again, really? Wouldn't it be better to make a customer happy rather than making the customers angry? I wouldn't be writing a bad review if Mgmt would have worked something out rather than us leaving mad. Won't be going back. read more

Where do I even begin? The customer service was less than mediocre and the prices are outrages. the food is very overpriced for the quality. the main issue I would like to address is the unsanitary condition the place was in. The floors where the bowling alleys were were absolutely disgusting. so many clumps of food and sauce and drinks spilled and dumped all over the floor, I could not even take a step without stepping in something. The bowling balls were not orderly at all. People were not made to return bowling balls to the rightful spots and kids were rapidly running around and getting multiple balls stuck in the gutters of the lanes. Absolutely ridiculous. there were times we couldnt even find a ball to use. the chairs were all dirty and greasy and the bowling balls were absolutely disgusting as well. Unsafe, hostile environment. Security needed. You could improve by telling patrons who use profanity, threats and intimidation to others to leave. When you don't, you send the message it is acceptable behavior in your establishment. Posting your policy clearly on the front door and desk might deter those behaviors as well. Clearly management can't manage certain situations: hire security or call police as needed. It is actually illegal in Indiana to threaten bodily harm. It is also illegal to intimidate a patron to leave a business. I went to management telling them what was happening and they acted as though they didn't care. They would move our family to another lane. No, I'm worried about getting "knocked the F*** out" (I did not say these words. They were the words from the threatening patrons). Managment took the side of the uncivil patrons by allowing them to stay while the threatening patrons intimidated us out. They followed me to the counter using profanity while I was explaining the situation. I was threatened by 3 individuals that if I so much as look at them, they would knock me the blank out. This was after politely informing the woman with the four older boys that they were in the ball pit telling my 7yr old and her friend that they needed to get the F*** out and shut the F*** up. The girls came out bawling scared. The woman went off on me rather than set her boys straight, appologize, and leave as I would have done had it been my family. I only told her as an opportunity for her to help correct the situation, not to become a target or escalate. Crazy Pins you lose reputation as well as valuable business in your unsafe and unprofessional handling of this matter. I should have called the police. Very, very unsafe and disappointing experience. Having hand sanitizer available would also be appreciated. Our kids got severely sick after our visit with a stomach virus and pink eye. Our daughter went to ER from the sickness. You should also sell/reload arcade cards in your rewards room or offer a self-reload machine. Make it easy for the kids to reload their cards and you make more $. Win/win. Standing in line for 10+ minutes to reload doesn't make sense when your rewards room/ attendant is not busy. read more

My husband and I just had a birthday party for our son here, and we were so pleased with everything! The kids all had a blast, the pizza was delicious, and the staff (especially Kieran) were so nice and accommodating! I have been here before with out of town friends and their kids to bowl. It was a positive experience pre-Covid. We got a bunch of appetizers and rented a lane and shoes and killed a few rainy day hours in the cool air conditioning. Recently though, (post-Covid) I brought along five teenagers and two toddlers to explore all that Crazy Pinz has to offer. We were NOT disappointed. Laser tag was a huge hit. So was black light mini golf, VR games, a laser maze, the high ropes course, the arcade games, the ball pit for little kiddos, and that's what is available in addition to bowling! They also have a full bar, eating areas throughout the facility, many friendly knowledgeable staff members, and a chill luau theme throughout. I actually left there pumped to come along with my husband next time. I think we would have a ton of fun sans kids. That's what I liked the most about this place. It is appropriate for ALL ages and is entertaining for everyone. We had pizza and a fried chicken salad. Both were good and would order them again. Can't wait to go back! read more

The entertainment they provide between the arcades and bowling and golf and whatnot were really fun but you just wait in line over and over again for every little thing you want to do. in two hours weve done one big thing and waited in line 3 times. Best place to take your child and ya know what even an adult can have fun especially after the new upgrades, their mini golf course is beautiful, and their bowling ally's are fun for the whole family, they have a nice variety of games in their arcade , and my little brother and cousin LOVED their new go kart track, I even saw some adults having fun in the go karts. Their laser tag arena is also very nice , and the staff are generally very helpful, now the negatives are the lines to get tickets for the various activity's on weekends can take upwards of 40 mins or longer , as well as the climbing fun house for kid is not the cleanest, but tbh it's not the dirtiest I've seen by far either. I went here for a group event and had a lovely time. I also returned the following day b/c a friend was in town that had a 10yo kid. There are things for both kids and adults to do - so it seems fine to me. There is a bar in there so that the adults can relax a little (i.e. get a drink or two) and then the food stuffs were just fine (and what you'd expect - not awesome, but bar food that was edible). The kids were using the ball ramp and the ball would reach the near the end of the alley when it would veer right to left a good 8 inches.. was quite something to see.. We were basically interrogated, because we wouldn't rent there nasty shoes. No one cleans the bowling balls, so if you want COVID-19 come here. We had a staff hangout here and it was a blast! Good pizza, bowling and drinks! The private room off to the side was a great area! So much fun and a great atmosphere! It's clean, rental shoes didn't sketch me out, enough bowling balls for everyone and the price of alcohol was decently priced. We took my 11 year old son and 2 friends to Crazy Pinz for his birthday. They had a great time. It was our first time there. They do have a Friday night special for $15pp for unlimited bowling and laser tag. My 8 year old daughter loved the ball pit / climbing area. She had to be less than 48 inches to go in there. They didn't make us pay for that for some reason. Some of the areas were closed due to new construction. I'd look for specials or coupons online as it could be pretty expensive. We got some pizza and some waffle fries while we bowled. My family ate the pizza but weren't overly impressed by it. I compared it to like a Chuck E Cheese pizza. My husband and I got a couple drinks from the bar. His was much stronger than mine. We'd go back. They have some good specials during the week too. Went there last night around 4:30 to bowl and plenty of lanes open but they put 4 lanes together and the people next to us don't know bowling etiquette to wait for bowlers to bowl! Complete crazy!! not organized people and kids screaming running around with no parents watching them!, I spoke to a manger I traveled all the way from Michigan to bowl and they would not let you have reservations, three lanes were open would not let us bowl, they were open over 1hr., I did stay with my granddaughter to play games and we went to exchange for prizes as I did I walked into a window that clearly appeared to be a door way, I hit it so hard the building shook and every one stopped to observe, I big bump formed on my head it was loud, I am not a kid I am 52 years of age. Lots of options (mini golf, arcade, laser tag, laser maze, bumper cars, ballpit/slide/tunnel area, bowling, and restaurant). Prices suck unless you get in on a special (then it's very fair). Facility was fairly clean. I'm not a fan of the player card because using tokens is easier for kids to track. Food was good, not great, but ok for this type of place. Server was nice but poorly trained and easily frazzled. The play area staff were unfriendly, non-conversational, and looked absolutely miserable. We got family membership this winter. It was a blast. There is some construction right now: they are adding a ropes course. Sounds fun. The way to go is to get a membership or go unlimited for 1, 2 or 3 hours or all day. The arcade could use an update, but still lots of fun for grade school kids and younger. read more

I wasn't going to write a review until I went to recharge my kids card. The girl rang me up, took 5 seconds. I slid my card. It asked how much tip I wanted to leave... My thought was "none" (she wasn't my waitress - do you tip the checkout person at the mall?). But my tip options were many, and NONE of them were zero. For NO REASON, I'm paying an added $2.50... whatever. Also went to leave and some guy and his gf were smoking weed in the car next to ours... WITH THEIR KIDS IN THE CAR. I had the absolute worst service from every employee I came in contact with this past weekend. The front desk staff were more interested in talking and goofing off than helping me. Our server on the lanes had no idea what she was doing, she knew nothing about the bar, and she was talking to and goofing around with her friends on the lane next to us. We never even got some of the things we ordered. To top it all off, my friend and I went up to the bar to get drinks. We asked for absolute citron and soda. Crazy Pins was ok for my 1st time, date night with hubby. The price for bowling was good and fair. The cosmo bowling was up and I enjoyed the mix of music they played and how they kept it clean for the kids. Staff was nice and friendly. However I really didn't see an older supervisor around to monitor the high school staff who, while are young and were having fun working the late shift, service was slow due to them playing around. It took a long while for my food to come out, the young man at the front desk did not greet us until he finish his convo and throw a nuff ball at another employee, and the server for bowling never came to our table. I had to visit the food area to finally get service. We had an ok time but service could be improved if a older supervisor is there to make sure the staff is working. Has a great selection of Games and Entertainment. Be wary of the prize winning games. Went in and played the block game where you stack to the top and win a prize. The first time I played I won the top prize and did didn't drop so we had to call the Manager over, after about 10 minutes she managed to open the game and hand me my prize which was a PS4 game. My friend and I then walked over to the game where you move a key around and stop it to cause the key to move forward and drag the prize forward in order to drop. Because I'm good at everything I do, the first time I tried this game I also Won the top prize and it did indeed pull the prize forward which just so happened to be a pair of $300 beats headphones. The prize didn't drop as it should have again and left it slightly crooked in the game. Now this game is very very difficult to win and those only with immense skill and luck can do it. Both of which I have. I walked over to tell one employees what happened and he looked at me and smirked and said he'd call the manager. After a few minutes he said that she said the item must fall even though I clearly won it fair and square. As avid bowlers, my boyfriend, his son and I decided to go bowling here. We have never bowled here before and were excited to go. The establishment had a great fun and family atmosphere but we were highly disappointed about very dry the lanes were. We could not hook, spin or even get our balls to do right.
