He gave us SO much advice over the phone (like 2-3 calls) at no charge and sent us his landscaper to talk options. We decided to hire him and have him in on the plan since we really wanted to make our backyard right. Together, the 4 of us came up with a plan (till, level, sprinkler system, bermuda seed) and after 3 weeks, our grass is looking AMAZING!!! I paid $1,000 in cash as a deposit and an additional $2,375 via Venmo for materials at his request. After payment was made, the project was delayed multiple times. Only minimal framing work was completed, and the concrete pour that was scheduled never happened. Communication then stopped completely. I made multiple attempts to contact him by phone and text and received no response. I also requested a refund, which was not returned. As of now, I am out $3,375 with no completed work. I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring this contractor.
