I even saw some soap being sold in my brief look-around. My bag came with a lot of parsley, romaine lettuce, kale, a large grapefruit, and French bread from WF. A good variety and amount for the price! The greens still had their roots attached, which they offer with their seedlings so people can start their own garden. The vertical farming method looks so neat. Was glad I stopped by to support this business and recommend others do so when going to Mesa!

Unfortunately, that is not what I received. During the removal process, multiple irrigation and sprinkler issues occurred that required several return visits to correct. While Moon Valley ultimately repaired the damage, these were problems that should not have occurred in the first place. The project resulted in weeks of follow-up, repeated appointments, and significant time spent trying to get the work corrected. What was most disappointing was the customer service. Communication was inconsistent, I frequently had to follow up for updates, and I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously. Even after filing a BBB complaint detailing my experience, the response focused only on the fact that repairs were completed and did not address my concerns about the quality of the original workmanship or the overall customer experience. I paid a premium price expecting professional service from start to finish. Instead, I experienced avoidable issues, repeated corrective visits, and a great deal of inconvenience. Although the damage was eventually repaired, I do not believe the quality of the service I received justified the price I paid. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Moon Valley Nurseries.

I had Isaiahs come over and clean up weeds maybe three times but the last time his worker hacked…read moreand broke with a shovel my irrigation line. But I didn't find out till later when the planter box was all flooded like a lake and overflowing like a river to the street. I found the broken PVC right where I instructed his worker to plant an agave fior me. When I told Isaiah's TFH Landscaping that his worker broke the sprinkler line, ISAIAHs said he would send the worker over to do the repair in a couple days which Isaias said was Tuesday, the worker never showed up. When I called him to say the worker never showed up he said he would come in a couple days and he personally will come and be there. Well Isaias never showed up. What's worse is he used to answer the phone on the first ring and was "always there for me" and even said "You know I am always here for you and I answer the phone". But after he didn't show up two times he wasn't answering the phone anymore .... ever. I left many, many messages telling Isaias I was disappointed that not only does he not show up to do the repair that his worker broke, but he deliberately is ghosting me for weeks. He sees from caller ID it is me calling for him to repair something he damaged (I sent pictures of the hacked irrigation pipe in the hole where the agave got blown outta there from the broken line), so he deliberately does not answer the phone ever again to BE THERE FOR MEEEEE, like he told me previously. That deserves 1 Yelp star. So you think I'm going to do business with him if he doesn't even answer the phone ever? Someone told me "because they don't get paid to repair their mistakes and have to take time out from already paying jobs to go to a job that doesn't pay. I never spoke to Isaias again because he didn't care to come back ad fix the broken pipe his worker hacked to pieces. That deserves 1 Yelp star don't you think? I have a new landscaper who has many solid 5 Yelp stars, and so far he has shown up every time I needed him, right on time, even when he squeezed me in. But I have no experience if he will show up to fix something he didn't do right, because nothing like that has happened so far.

Just to balance and add perspective after reading the one negative review...if you don't grow that 'one type of plant', go somewhere else. Why leave a negative review for a place you don't use or need? Its like leaving a negative review for McDonalds because you prefer Burger King. Just stupid. These guys are FANTASTIC!!! Exceptional product and process knowledge. Always great prices, often better than ordering online anywhere. Warm and welcoming every time. Best in the Valley! The other shops mentioned also have good things going for them. I've shopped them all over the last 6 years. S.O.G. has beaten prices from all of them and has been higher on a few things. Same as the other shops. Unfair to single out these guys. If you're a good customer they will match an advertised price if you ask. Never once had a problem. Remember, volume purchasing is everything from a retail perspective (ex; Walmart). No one in the valley has a larger inventory. read more

I was shopping here about a month ago, and I can say this, do yourself a favor and shop online. This place had almost nothing on the shelves and everything that was there was WAY overpriced. Most of the staff ways nice and helpful but the person that rang up my sale was completely rude and obnoxious and refused to price match the other local grow shop. After asking a few questions I found out the person behind the cash register was the owner of the store, talk about being a dysfunctional place. Like I said do yourself a favor and stay from this store the owner is a horriable person you will be glad you did! read more

Only thing they don't have is a basket or something to load up your selections on till you check out, so you have to bring them to the counter one or two at a time. What a hidden gem.
