I've texted to inquire prior to booking and It took a while to get response. I asked if an hour is enough time and the reply was basically stating it depends on the group so I didn't get a good response, then I asked if we can dock at other areas and explore because I was considering a 2 hr rental, the response was "absolutely". When we arrived it was a totally different response and they didn't advise us to dock elsewhere and they would not grant us a 1 hr instead since the only option was to circle the harbor TWICE and take our time. They are adamant about being on time only to get there extra early, speak to the staff and return at our scheduled time and find we didn't have a boat ready. They asked me to wait for a group to return but changed their mind and gave us a boat on site. I over heard one of the staff stating a customers boat died so I asked them to verify ours were good to go and won't die on us. We headed out only to die out 15-20 min after, we couldn't get ahold of anyone and kept getting voice mail. I tried texting and it a reply to call the office. I noticed a small sticker on the boat with a number, called that and spoke to staff, explained the situation and was told they would rescue us. We spent 15-20 min trolling, waited 25-30 min to get rescued and they tried to put us on another boat which I refused. They considered that an hour (i considered that 20 min) so I asked to end the rental. They originally didn't want to do it but I refused to do it again as we all lost interest at this point. They ended up refunding me $65 lol. I was so done I just took it and wanted to go about our day. Apparently they do a rescues on a regular so beware. After all of that I found the boat we were rented was the oldest and first boat they got and been having issues with it...go figure! I gave 2 stars because 2 members were cool. A few days…read moreafter going through our boat, he wrote us a lengthy 1 page email detailing everything he found (down to missing screws on the cowling), things that needed to be replaced, things that should be addressed, and items that he found that he said we could do ourselves if we wanted. We took our boat in (which is a big deal since we store it in a slip) to have them do our yearly service. Like most boat owners, we do our best to keep it maintained but also are aware that the boat had some deferred maintenance. They gave us a reasonable quote for the service and we asked them to go through the motors and give us a laundry list of items that the boat needed- and like most boats, it needed a lot. What we appreciated most was that they gave us plenty of options. Foe example, our hydraulic rams were pitting and leaking during the inspection and he gave us options down to each individual piston whether we could rebuild them, replace individual pieces, or replace the entire system, and his professional opinion on both. He showed us how our T-stat housing gaskets would leak due to corrosion and showed us how they cleaned it up and used a marine gasket maker to seal it and stop the leaks. It's not a permanent fix but the motors are 20 years old and we're just looking to get back on the water- not replace an entire engine block. When we went to pick up the boat he spent 30 minutes with us showing us everything that was done and answering our long winded questions. Before we left, the nice girls at the front desk gave us some official Honda Marine hats. Anyways, 10/10 would recommend.

Day started out by getting our pre game at American junkie, our time started at 11am so they started loading us on at 10:45ish. Once we got on, we had a quick safety meeting and then they let us crank the tunes once we were out on the canal. We brought some snacks for everyone like chips and muffins. Drinks were being served, suggest bringing cash, but they did have a square machine for card. We had 50 people on board and it was so much fun dancing, drinking and different friends coming together.
