Last summer, we rented a boat for a family group of 10 and had such a wonderful experience that I knew I had to book them again for a close friend's birthday cruise this July. From the start, the booking process is incredibly smooth. They provide an informative video, online waivers, and text message updates that make it so easy to coordinate and share details with your guests. Plus, having free parking right in the marina area is a huge, hassle-free bonus. Our boat was clean, spacious, perfectly on time, and everything on board worked flawlessly. While reviews for other Duffy boat rentals in the area often complain about dirty boats and rude staff, Pacific Electric Boat Rentals is the exact opposite. We had two staff members helping us, including Hayden, who were incredibly friendly and professional. They showed my group exactly how to operate the boat, and at the end of our trip, Hayden hopped on board to safely and easily dock it for us. They even offered to take care of our trash and helped carry our bags in and out of the boat. Outstanding customer service from start to finish--special thanks to Hayden for making our trip so great! The couple had their guests brought to the club via duffy boats from the island after their church ceremony. A few things to note if you're planning a wedding here: other boats and groups of people with still have access to the area, and therefore will be in some of your photos. Our party got lots of cheers and shouts from passersby. Not ideal if you want privacy but our couple didn't seem to mind.

Would not try this again. It was very misleading from the beginning as we were trying to get a good…read moreidea of what to expect. I've texted to inquire prior to booking and It took a while to get response. I asked if an hour is enough time and the reply was basically stating it depends on the group so I didn't get a good response, then I asked if we can dock at other areas and explore because I was considering a 2 hr rental, the response was "absolutely". When we arrived it was a totally different response and they didn't advise us to dock elsewhere and they would not grant us a 1 hr instead since the only option was to circle the harbor TWICE and take our time. They are adamant about being on time only to get there extra early, speak to the staff and return at our scheduled time and find we didn't have a boat ready. They asked me to wait for a group to return but changed their mind and gave us a boat on site. I over heard one of the staff stating a customers boat died so I asked them to verify ours were good to go and won't die on us. We headed out only to die out 15-20 min after, we couldn't get ahold of anyone and kept getting voice mail. I tried texting and it a reply to call the office. I noticed a small sticker on the boat with a number, called that and spoke to staff, explained the situation and was told they would rescue us. We spent 15-20 min trolling, waited 25-30 min to get rescued and they tried to put us on another boat which I refused. They considered that an hour (i considered that 20 min) so I asked to end the rental. They originally didn't want to do it but I refused to do it again as we all lost interest at this point. They ended up refunding me $65 lol. I was so done I just took it and wanted to go about our day. Apparently they do a rescues on a regular so beware. After all of that I found the boat we were rented was the oldest and first boat they got and been having issues with it...go figure! I gave 2 stars because 2 members were cool. Pics verifying I was informed we could dock and another while we were stuck
