While on the water her instructions are clear and always offered in a pleasant manner. Her patience and kindness when instructing this old fool was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend "the OCC Lido I, sailing course" and this instructor to anyone wanting to lean the beginning foundation of sailing. I will be registering for the Lido II course. Knowing i will have 4 more fun adventures sailing with her.

Excellent training, good instructor, lots of fun! I took the…read moreBeginning Sailing Course - Lido 14. It was a good value! The instructor tries to give the class as much time on the water as possible. I will suggest that if people are tall and/or don't like kneeling on hard surfaces, volleyball knee pads make the experience better. The Lido 14 is a small sailboat and there's a lot of moving from side to side of the boat on the very low bench seats. Being able to kneel on the floor as you switch sides can make the transitions faster. I took the 4 classes in one week, however I think I'll try the 1 class a week version next time. Sailing is a bit of a workout, so be prepared - practice squats and lunges. And don't forget your sunscreen.
