FABULOUS little space. Sweet setting and friendly staff as well. It's a bit snug but the outside seating it LOVELY when it's not too hot. Highly recommend this place for a casual date or just some plain ol'good eating.

I had been wanting to try this spot for a while. Directly across the street from the Dignity Health Arena they have a very charming little spot. Upon entry you can't help but admire the way this spot is so cozily tucked into the trees overhead to create a beautiful patio of filtered sunlight. Really nice and peaceful setup for those that would enjoy the outdoor seating. They have a very nice menu offering all sorts of different crepes and breakfast options. The lady that helped us was very friendly and hospitable. I really wanted to like this place but it seems that their biggest downfall is their own mistake, being ill prepared to provide for their customers. If there's one thing that absolutely irks me about a food industry business, it's when an item or items are on your menu but you don't have the ingredients or means to make them. Apparently they do make specialty coffee drinks but their espresso machine was not working. Their ice machine and soda machine was also not working. Keep in mind this is July in Bakersfield, just unacceptable. This is a terrible inconvenience and we should've chosen to leave and come back another day when they were actually prepared to offer menu options, but we didn't. Instead we opted for a regular coffee. I don't know who made this coffee but it so strong it was barely drinkable. I would also advise anyone that if you do get creamer from here, be careful. In our attempt to at least make this coffee tolerable we asked for cream and it instantly curdled when mixed. When we asked for more creamer, she said "I'll have to check if I have any more". We decided to ditch the coffee and just get a soft drink from the refrigerator. This was a Thursday morning and despite of how little customers there were, service here is very slow. I will say that when our food finally arrived, everything looked great, I really appreciate the effort that was put to make each dish very aesthetically pleasing. The crepes are very light and thin, unfortunately (depending on which dish you choose) the flavor is completely lost by being so rich and overpowered by drizzle and topping. In the end, this place completely fell flat...as a crepe.

I was in the mood for some Crepes and knew just the spot. Unfortunately they don't have a designated spot to park, it's needed especially when they have events for the arena across the street. The service is friendly and available to answer any questions. The place has an outside patio with the perfect vibe for those pictures. The inside is also cute. I would recommend coming here for those Crepes.

Such a cute hidden cafe in downtown Bakersfield that kinda makes you feel like you're in Europe somewhere, maybe Paris? Lots of outdoor seating which is nice on a sunny day and large menu of crepes.

I have been intending to come here for many years and I'm so glad I finally made it. Cafe Crepes is delightful. Sarah & Kayin were the friendly and helpful staff today. Sarah explained the menu and was helpful answering questions I had. Kayin made my scrumptious crepe. This place is so cute! A whimsical style that just brings a smile to your face. It has a bit of a European vibe. Today I ordered the Gluten Free Turkey Crepe with caramelized onions YUM! The burst of flavor with my first bite was heaven. The gluten free crepe had a good flavor & texture. It was served with sliced red potatoes whose presentation was pretty with the red peel intact but they were a bit underdone and not hot. That said the flavor was delicious and I ate some of them anyway. There is a pretty outdoor courtyard outside for dining in warmer weather. Coming here feels like a staycation. It has such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. I can hardly wait to come back again soon.

I think the service here was quite pleasant. There is definitely a Paris theme that the owner is going for. I believe this was a strong theme to go for with the age of the building. We dined in for brunch. You can tell the building is older but the place is quite clean. The place looks regularly dusted as not a speck of dust was on the ac unit or fan blades. The place has plenty of restrooms to offer well stocked. Do Not be frightened by the street appearance because the food was absolutely worth the price. We had the salmon panini, strawberry and banana crepe, and Dubai chocolate crepe, and the Philly cheese steak crepe. All delicious and fresh. I would definitely return as our host was quite accommodating and sweet to make sure we were comfortable.

The staff here is always super nice and welcoming. However, the food was a major disappointment this time. My meal tasted like dirty water, which made it very difficult to eat. The prices are also quite high for the small portion sizes provided. Given the cost and the quality of the food, I do not think I will go back.

Popped into this place, while family was in town on Thursday, May 8. The café is in the downtown area in a quad with three or four other businesses. There is plenty of street parking with a two hour limit between the hours of 9 AM and 6 PM. The café is small, but there is plenty of seating inside and outside. When the weather is nice sitting outside in the quad area is probably great. There is plenty of shade as well. The restaurant is very clean and tidy there are plenty of spaces to sit on the inside of the café's front room. We were greeted by a very friendly and professional attendant. She was a very nice lady and super sweet. Since it was our first time, she took the time to explain the different types of food options she offers at the café. The restaurant serves sweet and savory crêpes as well as specific breakfast items, that are served all day and panini's. The all day breakfast menu looked delicious and every item on the breakfast menu is served on a crêpe. We ordered two sweet crêpes and one savory crêpe. We ordered the lemon blueberry crêpe, the strawberry banana, Nutella, crêpe, and turkey and onion marmalade crêpe. The sweet crêpes were pretty delicious and your standard type of crêpe, probably the most popular. The turkey onion marmalade crêpe was very delicious. And all three crêpes were pretty big so if you're hungry and don't want to share, this is the perfect place Aside from crêpes the café offers, coffee, coffee, beverages, fountain, drinks, and bottled drinks. I will definitely return to try other things from the menu. I bet when the weather is gorgeous in the morning sitting outside is nice. It's a type of café where you could take your time and read a book while you're enjoying some food and a coffee. Enjoy!

Service was great, food was yummy and flavorful, and such a cute location. The latte was also really good, you get to pick how sweet you want your latte which I thought was nice. Overall a really cute and unique brunch spot!

I have never been disappointed going to Cafe Crepe. I love the atmosphere, friendly staff and pretty reasonable prices. Most of all, the food is always well made, hot and delicious. They offer dessert and savory crepes. Paninis, breakfast smoothies, omelettes and more! The Paris theme is pretty pleasing as well. I love the outdoor setting options; it always makes me feel like I'm not in Bakersfield in the best way: Utterly beautiful!

Cute little spot with deeeeeeelicious crepes. For my first time, I tried a blueberry crepe and was not disappointed. It was decadent & delicious and left me feeling excited to explore more of the menu. Situated inside a quaint little duplex like building that made me feel like I was somewhere else. I love that. I'll def be back!

If im clueless let me in on the Vietnamese coffe you know of...anyhoo If you're looking for a caffeine kick, the cold canned Vietnamese coffee will give you a jolt you wouldn't believe. Food-wise, the Peruvian grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and well made, but I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side unless you enjoy a messy sandwich. The ham and cheese croffel had great flavor, but it was a little light on the ham and cheese. I think the cropples are better suited in the sweet variety as they seem small incompressants to a ham and cheese croissant someone would purchase for about half that price. In my opinion, it was more of a kid's snack than a meal and not quite worth the price, if you're actually hungry I would go with something else off the menu. Everything was made fresh , you must be patient here , perfection can be slower than your metabolism, so dont go there hangry. During my visit, Hector explained that he envisions Uncharted Adventures as a gathering place for the community. The business frequently hosts weekend vendor markets and local running clubs. Hector also shared he was creating a dedicated Memorial Day wall honoring local veterans, first responders, and teachers, while also working on an outdoor eating area. It's always great to see a Hector and Chris, and the new Adventures they take on. This is one of the few coffee shops in Bako worth checking out, whether you're stopping in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a community events theyre hosting give em a visit an introduce yourself. You can thank me later. .Overall I would give everything a four and a half Stars but since Yelp doesn't do half Stars I'll give them a five out of five stars.
