Well there is this chatty girl who is really cool. She is very hard to keep up with conversation bt has a lot of energy and is attentive. There is another guy who when you try to speak to him he kept saying "ya no worries" or "its all good" when I kept trying to get more out of him. Also another worker who just found in imperative that if I was looking at there TV screened menu that I must order something. Idk ive been to this place before. I love this place. It's in a big plaza so parking will be a little hard but worth it. They make fresh cookies here. The ice cream is good. They also make fresh waffles. Had the most unreal experience here tonight with my family. We just finished a nice family dinner and decided to get our kids ice cream, what a HUGE mistake that was. Let me preface this by saying that my child has an allergy to all tree nuts and I am very prepared just incase there is cross contamination, which I understand does happen. My entire family got ice cream, we paid, we even tipped, and were enjoying our experience until my son was exposed to nuts and threw up on the floor. I was very focused on my sons health at that point and had to give him medicine. We apologized for the throw up and were cleaning it up ourselves, and *we hope Mark can check the cameras and see that*. We were waiting to help the two ladies that worked there clean, but their line kept growing. We put napkins and our own wipes over the mess and even put chairs over it so other patrons wouldn't step on it. This entire time we were trying to clean it with what he had on hand as customers. Meanwhile, the entire time my four year old son is still throwing up outside. The contamination was not the issue for us, things happen and we get that. The problem is as we were waiting for 10+ minutes for them to acknowledge us and maybe offer a mop of some sort so we did the best we could and left. The worker came OUTSIDE THE ESTABLISHMENT looking for us to where a random passerby came and got us, and she said to my family "HER KID THREW UP, SHE NEEDS TO CLEAN IT." We were literally cleaning it and I'm pretty sure most customers would have not made any effort at all to clean it at all!!! We are generally really easy going people, but this INFURIATED my entire family and she was arguing with us back and forth causing a huge scene. We are EXTREMELY disappointed and baffled by their customer service we asked to speak to the manager and they gave us the owners number. When speaking with the owner on the phone he had the audacity to ask if we announced that he had an allergy or if we asked for towels. I asked the owners what would you do, and he said "I would have been embarrassed...". He had the audacity to say that my FOUR YEAR OLD SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED FOR SOMETHING HE HAS NO CONTROL OVER. The problem wasn't the contamination even though it is HUGE deal that could have landed my son in the ER. It's the fact that the girl working decided to chase after us and command rudely that we clean up the throw up when we did the BEST we could with what WE had. The police even came out and even they couldn't believe what just happened. Nobody wants to go for ice cream with their KIDS and get into an argument with the workers especially when we were treating a TREE NUT ALLERGY. So if you have allergies, please beware. We are so appalled by the workers behavior and the owners response. Truly BAFFLED. Edit: We even asked for them to get the mop so we can clean it, but they said they didn't have one? -- isn't it customary for every food place to have one? We have been to this Cream a couple times now and it's pretty consistent each time. I don't care for the donut ice cream sandwich but the cookie one is great! I got creamed! We came by on opening day. The line stretched halfway down the block, it was a cold January, so we didn't go in. We came by while the girl was at her friends' house. Now we went in. Date night with the Hunny. Cream's drawing card is that it's not just ice cream. There's ice cream sandwiches, ice cream waffles, ice cream tacos, and I wouldn't be surprised if they come up with ice cream pizza next. So it'll be more expensive than Baskin-Robbins or Loard's. Everything is fresh. The Hunny has never met an ice cream she didn't like, and she devoured her sammy. So did I. I had macadamia nut cookies surrounding almond fudge ice cream. The sammy is roughly 5" wide and 1-1/2" thick, nice and messy, fills you up more than the usual dessert. If you get your cookies heated, eat FAST. You can argue that downtown Concord doesn't need yet another ice cream place. But Cream stands out due to how it packages its offerings. So on those hot days, here's a place to get creamed. read more

I wanted to try this location for awhile now. I first checked out one in San Francisco. I ordered the do'sant + cookies n cream ice cream + mini chocolate chips topping. Pricing isn't that bad, about $5. What's great about this place is there's lots of variation to choose from. Instead of the do'sant (donut + croissant) you can choose a cookie or brownie as a base. The shakes and normal ice cream on a cone looked good too so I'll definitely have to come back and try something else. read more

Nice product but the staff were so rude I couldn't believe it. I just left 5 minutes ago - the 2 girls that are currently working are very unhelpful, I simply asked some questions about if there were common milkshake combinations or any kind of suggestions they had but they just shrugged their shoulders and said "you can just order whatever you want" ... that wasn't my question... obviously I have that choice. My experience: I'm only giving 4 stars because I had to keep telling the girl (the Caucasian girl with blonde hair) that worked there that my daughter was using the restroom and she completely ignored me and insisted that no one was in the restroom and gave a key to a customer who thankfully opened the door while my daughter was done. Visit June 2017: My first experience with CREAM was in 2013 when a classmate from DVC introduced me to the WC location. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to bring my boyfriend here as a surprise one night when he was craving ice cream. He wasn't expecting this and hadn't even heard of CREAM. We shared an ice cream sandwich with double chocolate chip cookies wrapped around French vanilla. We had also sampled the banana walnut fudge but thought that the vanilla worked better with our cookies. They even cut our sandwich for us and cut unevenly so that my bf got a bigger portion, as I requested. I like my cookies chewy, not crunchy, and these cookies were more on the chewy side. I also like how parking is a lot easier than the WC and Berkeley locations. I would prefer to come back here over the other two locations. The product is consistent with what I've had in WC several times and once in Berkeley, but with easier parking and fewer lines. read more

This is a great ice cream shop! Overall their customer service is really polite and always helpful the only issue I would say they have is the cookies. Every time I go and I get a "creamfeti" cookie it's always hard.. Literally always. They bake the cookies for too long so when I ask for it to be warmed up it makes it harder. As for the mini creamfeti cookies, they aren't soft at all they all just crumple in your mouth. While the prices may seem high the product quality, atmosphere and excellent customer service make this spot a great value. In my confusion for not reading the free offer on my phone more carefully, I pulled out a $5 bill to pay, and the owner took care of me! I ended up tipping the $5 to help the staff. Since it was my bday, I went back after the movie I saw and got the sundae, and tipped another $5 If I had any advice for ownership, I would place a bit more attentiveness to cleanliness. I honestly think Cream is a little overrated. I'm happy to see them doing well and expanding. The ice cream selection is good, I just prefer my ice cream to be a little more creamy. I'm a little spoiled because I love the cookies from It's-It so much that any other ice cream sandwich is just OK to me. I spend a lot more time in downtown Concord than I do in downtown Walnut Creek, and CREAM is one of my favorite spots if I'm feeling in the mood for dessert.
