    Crazy Mango Snowflake Bingsu
    Rachel M.

Really liked this Asian fusion dessert spot! Location is in a random plaza in the Concord cuts - the way there was kinda off the beaten path. Interior is smallish and the counter style table we snagged was kinda flimsy. Menu housed savory and sweets from Korean corn dogs and fried chicken to croffles, crème brûlée, and Bing sus. 3 of us split the aforementioned sweets - strawberry banana Nutella croffle, homemade banana creme brulee, and mango big su and they were super tasty and filling without being too sweet, especially the refreshing gargantuan Bing su. Will have to try the Korean cheese sticks next time!

Needed dessert and drinks after dinner so we found this place on Yelp. A small place with a wide mixture of food, drinks, and Bingsu. There are some seating. Located in a plaza with plenty of parking. Servers were friendly and it was a busy Saturday night. Our Mango Bingsu was so yummy! It was packed with mango pieces and the mango ice cream was good too. It was so large, four of us shared it. We also got two drinks: Black Sesame and Okinawa Milk Tea. We enjoyed our drinks as well. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

I have ordered a few times from Dessert Cafe through DoorDash. My favorite thing to get is the Banana Nutella Cream Croffle which is a CROissant waFFLE. It's DELICIOUS! This time around, I ordered one Banana Nutella Croffle and the Biscoff Tiramisu. They had a promotion going on for a free order of Belgian Mini Cream Puffs! Which I surely took advantage of. The Biscoff Tramisu was pretty good, there was enough to eat in two sittings. I recommend it if you like tiramisu! I will say it was a little disappointed on the mini cream puffs, you could tell they were not homemade, but rather frozen ones from the store. They have a variety of sweet desserts, frozen desserts, milk teas, lemonades and delicious Korean snacks !

We ordered online and picked up our food about 30 minutes before closing, so we decided to eat in our car. The service was minimal, which was understandable given that we were picking up our order right before closing and the staff was preparing to wrap up for the night. We ordered the hot cheetos corn dog, tuna mayo samgak kimbap, rice cake skewers, and okinawa milk tea, which came out to around $46. They also included complimentary cream puffs with orders over $20. The corn dog and rice cake skewers were decent and enjoyable. However, we were extremely disappointed with the samgak kimbap. It appeared to have been frozen and reheated before being served. The rice was close to being spoiled, as it had a slightly sour taste and a sticky texture, which made it difficult to enjoy, especially when paired with the reheated tuna. The complimentary cream puffs were also disappointing. They appeared to be Costco cream puffs, and the crème filling was still partially frozen when we received them. I've heard that the bingsu here is really good, so I can definitely see why people enjoy coming here for that. However, based on our experience, if you're coming specifically to try the other food items on the menu, I recommend looking elsewhere.

The desserts here are excellent! Really enjoy the bingsu in this place, it gets me freezing cold by the time I'm done but so worth it. The croffle are small but it's SOOO heavenly!!!! Absolutely a must try

This place was randomly found on DoorDash. The pictures of their desserts looks perfect on the app so my bf and I decided to dine in and see what's it all about. NOT disappointed at all. It was soooo good! I got their Biscoff Croffle with strawberry icecream, banana and strawberry on the side. The Croffle was so buttery! The mango bingsu was so milky and the mangoes were sweet and ripe! We added mango icecream on the top which was a perfect addition. The store itself was cute and clean and the staff was kind. Almost didn't see the store because it was located at the corner and a tree was blocking the sign

this small location in concord is awesome. the inside ambiance is tranquil and clean, with a consistent clientele coming in. i ordered a tiramisu coffee, shich was the exact flavor i wanted: sweet, with a strong coffee presence and accompanied by fruits it was easy to make plans w the gang here

Ordered the Crème Brûlée and Tiramisu Croffle. The croffle was cooked perfectly. I would order that on its own. The custard on the crème brûlée was way too sweet and it tasted like custard that comes inside donuts, and the topping to croffle ratio was way off. I almost wish it were lightly filled instead of topped. We ordered Tiramisu, and it was not at all what we got. The cream on it was like the icing that comes on Asian cakes. I actually would have loved if they had once like an Asian cake. With icing and fruit. While I see this is a local favorite. I went out of my way to go there. I was way on the other side of too personally would not come here again. Everything looks beautiful, but it's too sweet.

Review #013 - 2025 I've been here on many occasions with my little family and we enjoy their bingsus, a lot, as you can see from our photos! However, we haven't really tried any of their other food items since we usually show up after we've already had dinner. I actually really liked their house-made tiramisu cake because it's not overly sweet and very moist! Although, one of my last visit here was quite interesting because when our order was ready, I went to pick up the tray. There were two Bingsus placed on the same tray and one had a cheesecake on it. The cheesecake was about to topple over so I tried to catch the cheesecake, forgetting that the tray was unbalanced so my whole order pretty much landed on the table :( The owner saw what happened and came to help me wipe up the mess and even offered to remake my order. I was so embarrassed! However, the owner was very understanding and apologized for not putting the two bowls on separate trays. Good desserts plus great service will always keep us returning :)

The food was delicious and the service was top notch. The ambience is cafe-style. My daughter really wanted one of those hot Cheetos encrusted cheese on-a-sticks and she was not disappointed. The salted caramel cheesecake also hit.

This is a little hole in the wall and great for what it is. It is not fine dining! Lol. I love coming here to get their bingsu and they have fun Korean street food also. The food itself is just okay but the Cookies & Cream, Injeolmi red bean and Mango bingsu are HUGE and yummy. It's too much for one person in my opinion and I usually share with my daughter. My son, however, can finish the whole thing impressively. It's slim pickings for a place that has bingsu so I hope they stay in business. Help support them! They have a screen you can order from or you can order at the counter. Service is friendly and usually pretty quick.

I had been here a couple of times to pick up A few take out orders. I had ordered a Fruit Drink with Watermelon and a Mango Shaved Ice dessert with a scoop of Ice Cream. I had also ordered a Croffle and a Biscoff Dessert. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is always busy but they had the desserts ready quick, no matter how many orders they have. Korean corn dogs and tornado potato fries are also on the menu. If you're craving sweet or something savory, this is the place for you.

Today was my first time trying this spot. I ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake Snowflake Bingsu--I chose the regular cheesecake option since the strawberry cheesecake version costs $5 more, which is understandable given the price. I also got the Strawberry & Banana Nutella Cream Croffle and the Hot Cheetos Mozzarella Hot Dog with spicy mayo. The atmosphere was nice for a small store. I went around 4 PM, and there were no other customers, which was great. The food was freshly made and tasted good. I loved all of the items, especially the Banana Nutella Cream Croffle. The bingsu was also great--not the most mind-blowing, but definitely satisfying my dessert cravings. I'll definitely come back again!

I had attempted to come once before in the past, but they were strangely closed during operating hours for some undisclosed reason that day. Located in a corner lot with private parking, this cozy cafe offers a decent selection of boba, smoothies and snacks. And there is plenty of indoor seating if you want to stay and enjoy your meal. I went for my usual go-to for my visit, Passion Fruit Green Tea w/ boba. The drink was nice and sweet, and the boba had a good consistency to it. A lot of Yelpers have said the female owner is sweet and I can definitely agree with this. She let me use the bathroom key without hesitation even when I wasn't going to order anything originally (my bf was going to order) and adjusted my drink to my preferences. I don't normally like mango, but saw raving reviews on the Mango Peach Strawberry Smoothie (at least 3 5 stars on this drink) and knew I wanted to try it since it was a super humid day. I asked if she could adjust my drink to include less mango and she accommodated my needs happily without complaint. One sip of my smoothie and I was like "dang, this is pretty good!". I'm glad I tried this place! Thank you Breaktime Tea for a positive first time experience during my vacation :)

Mochi: Soft and chewy, and the ice cream inside was delicious. Yuzu Soft Serve: Super creamy with the perfect hint of yuzu. I was expecting it to be a little more tart, but I honestly wasn't mad that it wasn't. The serving was huge too! I had to share because there was no way I was finishing that large cup by myself. Mango Matcha: Perfectly balanced. The mango didn't taste artificial at all, and neither flavor overpowered the other. Passion Fruit Slush: Usually my go-to when I want something refreshing, and theirs did not disappoint. The passion fruit flavor was perfectly balanced without tasting watered down, and the slushy ice texture was everything. They even add a passion fruit jam with actual passion fruit seeds in it. I was already so full, but I could not stop drinking it. Uji Time may seem a little pricey at first, but honestly, nothing disappointed and it was worth every penny. The staff were a little awkward and didn't seem very enthusiastic--they were pretty monotone and not particularly welcoming. But everything tasted fresh and well made, so I didn't let it bother me too much. Overall, I really enjoyed everything we ordered and I'll definitely be coming back whenever I'm in the area!

I assume it's true because their cup sizing has changed which I'm sadly disappointed. It's more open space/spacious and I had to create a new rewards account. Drink menu names changed slightly on kiosk and on the wall. They don't have that tacky shelf with plush, stuff, Knick knacks, for sale anymore. Drink still good, I don't think recipe has changed. I heard, then seen it for myself, the instagram post and stories shared by friends, of people dancing and partying at the shop late nights after hours. Then when I went in, also still had the sign up that said they did dance concert or hosted DJ nights at the shop. But Im also assuming it was under the old management and they must've got caught something doing something illegal or something they weren't suppose to be doing. The minus one star is for the cup sizing. Bring it back! Main reason why I love coming here, a good price for big cup size. Now it's like every other boba shop. Which is fine, but I won't go out of my way to come get boba here like I used to.

This was my first time visiting them again since the ownership change so it's been a minute. What I see here now is just depressing, not just because the place was empty, but it's now devoid of anything that felt like a spot someone would want to hangout at. No music, when I got in there was one person waiting for their food and nobody was even at the front counter for minutes before somebody finally came out from the back. Ordering is just through the kiosk now, which isn't a bad thing. The part that was really rough was the reason why I even came here; the boba. I got a regular milk tea which now they only have a single size. I miss the extra large size they used to have, but oh well. The next issue comes with how much the boba actually costs. They may have gotten rid of the extra large cup sizes, but they're still charging the almost the same amount for it in a much smaller cup. What a deal, right? And we get to the actual drink. When the person making the drink after receiving your order finishes within a minute of making it, it's never a good sign. Why is that? Well, they had premade jug of milk tea ready to pour out for your tasting pleasure. When you have a premade jug of milk tea, it's never a good sign. While I've had them at other places that have done this before, and it's ranged from bad to mediocre, the one here at Milk Tea Lab, now, was in a word, rancid. It was incredibly gross with absolutely no redeeming qualities to it. I generally try not to be so harsh, but this was really not it and I couldn't even finish the boba because of how bad the milk tea was. It's sad to see how big of a dropoff this spot has become compared to what it used to be. This isn't like when they first opened where there were only 2-3 boba spots right next to them. Now there's at least a handful of options within a few minutes away, and dozens of spots within a mile or two, and this is what they're pushing out? It's a shame but this Milk Tea Lab which was their starter store is no longer a place I would ever go back to for boba. It's time is now past with this new ownership.
