Who knew Katy had cool things! Haha. I came here after dinner in the same plaza and had a pleasant experience. As other Yelpers have noted, the place is immaculate, which is always a good sign. For those unfamiliar with their concept, you can pick your ice cream base (i.e. milk, premium milk, coconut milk, sorbet), flavor, and toppings (for an additional cost). There are a variety of flavors; for example, there's matcha, taro, Thai tea to name a few. Since we were still full from dinner, I split a regular cup of matcha and coconut milk with a friend. It's not cheap but because of how dense and rich the ice cream is, it goes a long way. I would say it's worth a try! There's something for everyone, given how extensive the menu is. read more

I ordered the sea salt caramel ice cream and the texture was definitely very creamy, but the flavor wasn't as strong as I would have expected. We walked in at 9:10 (50 minutes before closure) and they have 5 staff members and no customers and told us they are no longer taking orders because they are "short staffed". Mind you there was only 2 of us ... and 5 of them and we were going to share a single ice cream. read more

I have seen many photos and experiences of this new ice cream shop and knew we should visit! The process is simple, pick a base, premium, organic, coconut milk and one other I can't remember. Pick your flavor, we had mint, and pick mix ins like Oreos, chocolate curls, fresh strawberries, etc. then choose toppings. Into the machine it goes, in which you can stand close by and watch the magic of the liquid nitrogen and also feel the somewhat cold gas cloud surround you. Our daughter enjoyed watching it and feeling it. I will say, for 3, rather large cups it was over $25. The ice cream wasn't anything spectacular, but I suppose it's about the show. Everything was great, but would suggest ice bags for those with extra ice cream to take home, like the froyo places offer. I mean for $25 if I didn't finish my cup, I would like the option to take it with me. read more

I regret it took me so long to visit. I'd heard over and over the pricing was steep but it was near my dinner spot so I decided to finally try it. The concept is really neat, my 9 year old was just as amazed by the liquid nitrogen as the younger kids in line. $6 for a regular size with no mix ins was 100% worth it. The serving was huge, easily shared between 2 and what I'll do next time. Easily the best ice cream I've ever had. The texture was so creamy yet dense. We will be back for sure! read more

When I came in a customer had to tell me where the line started and there were 4 or five people working. Cute concept, cute decor, they even offered vegan and dairy free options. The ice cream was cute but tasteless. My husband got a small cheesecake, it had no flavor so he ate half and tossed the rest. They also need to offer children's sizes because the small is too large for a child. It was an overpriced thrill, something to do once. read more

The name says it all. It's very creamy. That's the first thing I noticed when I took my first bite. As the slow eater that I am, most ice cream brands melt before I could finish, but for some reason (maybe the nitrogen they used to make it) Creamistry's ice cream didn't melt all that much. At first, I thought the regular size was a very little portion, but I had a hard time finishing it because there were a lot of ice cream. The place looks amazing, counted 12 large tv's, they can host a match madness watch party! It was clean, modern, and a good environment to go eat some dessert with the family. I got the plain vanilla flavor with Gummy Bears. My girlfriend got the cookie and cream with chocolate chip on top. Creamistry can be compared to Marble Slab, price wise. And Sub Zero, experience wise. But Creamistry's ice cream is the creamiest and most fulfilling! read more

You pick your base (ice cream) from 4 options, flavor, and then toppings/mix-ins, which are $1 each. I ordered the premium base, which is supposed to be the creamiest, the fruity pebble flavor (literally crushed cereal), and added walnuts. The ice cream was really good, similar to the texture of gelato. I got the regular size with 1 mix-in, which was $6.95 plus tax. If you are vegan or lactose intolerant, there are 2 non-dairy bases: coconut ice cream and sorbet. read more

Fun place. Rapidly cooling the ingredients with the liquid nitrogen doesn't allow time for ice crystals to form, resulting in a very dense, smooth ice cream. Definitely do this with the kids at least once. Watching the process is entertaining as well as educational. read more

It was really busy when we went, but we didn't have to wait long to order, find a seat, or receive our order. We ordered 2 of their suggested flavors, and 1 we put together ourselves. We got the smallest size cup on all 3. It was a huge shock when the cashier said, "That will be 27.50." I think she was use to the jaw-drop response, as she quickly explained we would get an itemized receipt to see the breakdown. The ice-cream was definitely good, but was WAY overpriced. I think this must be a food trend, kind of how gelato was several years ago or the more recent frozen yogurt w/toppings places. Personally I'd rather buy $30 worth of bluebell at HEB. read more

This place just opened up about a week ago here in Katy and having the sweet tooth that I do, I couldn't wait to try it out. The line was practically out the door when I arrived which made me think "wow they must have some really good ice cream ". As I waited in line, I gazed upon the menu and my mind was feeling overwhelmed with all the choices of treats they offered. I ended up getting a vanilla and strawberry concoction with cheesecake bites and the ever infamous whip cream and cherry on top. As soon as I bit into it, I knew this would be my new go to dessert spot in the area because it was that good. I really wanted to like this place but NAHHH you can save your money going elsewhere. $17 for two REGULAR sized ice creams. Not to mention they charge a dollar for "banana topping" aka 5 slices. Just bring your own banana and slice it up honestly. The ice cream itself actually tasted great, but the oreo chunks were excessive. I was halfway through my cup and I ran out of ice cream?? All there was left were tons of chunks of oreos, and I mean tons. I don't think I'll be back. read more

I had the nitro dole with strawberries mixed in. I was really looking forward to it because I love dole whip, but was letdown a bit. It was a sorbet, so it was not creamy like I expected. I guess I should apologize if he has some mental issues so please let us know! This guy doesn't know how to communicate. Again, if you have some mental issues, please let us know. Overall I feel he has a distaste in socializing with customers, especially if there is something wrong. I ask the other employees about the issue and feel they are aware of this too. I don't care if he reads this, because this guy clearly needs someone else to take over if he doesn't like to solve issues. I'm not the only one who reviewed about terrible customer service and it's not from the other employees. I'm not the only review about allergies and terrible service about this guy. Don't put that allergy information about "letting us know" if you don't want to offer the service!

There really is no "worst" cookie because they're all amazing, but if I HAD to choose this would be the order. #1 Creme brulee. #2 Peanut butter supreme. #3 Cookie butter. #4 Pumpkin chocolate chip. #5 Double chocolate. #6 Chocolate chip. No matter what you order here though, you're guaranteed to like their cookies. They even have Keto/Gluten Free cookies for those who can't have the regular versions. They had about 8 to 10 different types of cookies available to purchase. I purchased four cookies and I must say one is better than the other. I got the celebration, which is chips inside and sprinkles all over the top and other stuff inside of it. I also got a chocolate chip cookie and oatmeal raisin and a s'mores. You can smell the cookies in the box while you're driving home trying not to open it. So I got home and I tried the cookies and they are beyond amazing. Each cookie is huge and filled with goodness from start to finish. They are warm and fresh and extremely tasty. Their prices are very good for what you get. I absolutely love their cookies and I wish them lots of success in their adventure. So I will tell you, run don't walk to taste some of the best cookies you have ever had in your life. You will not be disappointed in the ingredients inside and you will not be disappointed how big they are and how yummy they are. I give this place 100% thumbs up .
